I like to give young entrepreneurs business as I know how tough it is out there to get your business off the ground. Devin, the business owner, was a referral from a family member who was kinda shocked at what transpired today. Devin considers a wash to be EXTERIOR only. Perhaps things have changed, but every other mobile wash/detail I have ever used in the last 20+ years expressly quotes washes (not detail) as exterior AND interior. So, thinking this was a free wash, I thought I would throw in a $20 tip. Turns out what he calls "free" was an extra $40 for the interior vacuum and wipe down. What should have been free was an exterior wash for $20. Then he doesn't even finish! He just bails. Didn't finish the "free wash". I would have probably given him the benefit of the doubt and met somewhere in the middle. This is how he does business though. His lack of transparency for pricing is shady, not to mention excessive for the kind of car. I know this is OC and stuff is expensive. I get it. But, c'mon. Integrity matters, especially when you're trying to establish yourself and your business in a sea of options. Caveat emptor.

Janel came out on a Saturday at a time convenient for us to do a removal of the old tint and install new tinting....looooong story short, turns out it's just the wind shield and it needs to be replaced. But since he was already there and the front windows needed tint anyway we went ahead and had those tinted for her. Janel was kind, knowledgeable and got the job done in a timely fashion. I recently got our cars Ceramic Pro coated professionally and wanted to get new car wash gear for those quick washes at home. The highest level of Ceramic Pro makes car washes much easier and there is essentially no need for detailing (i.e. clay bar, wax, or seal), so I really didn't need to buy much. However, I couldn't help myself since the prices here at Walt's was very affordable so I left with a lot more than what I came for. I have yet to test out the quality of all of their products, but from what I can tell, it is the same if not similar to a nearby competitor - Chemical Guys.
