Pretty standard location for this chain. They are one if the latter stores in the mall and they have tons of products. It's usually clean with the exception of the clearance area. That's hit or miss on being clean and organized. The associates are pretty much only found at the registers. They don't normally have a line so check out is pretty quick. I've never had a super friendly cashier here, but it's fast so I'll take it. They have lots of sale merch and fashion items that make shopping easy. I go here often times for plain wardrobe pieces for work trips or fashion costume jewelry for Cons and Dapper Days. Overall: B A ok location that's the norm for this chain. Inside Altamonte Mall, this H&M is pretty big. The staff is not the best but they are pretty nice. It's always super organized and clean when I go in and they carry a ton of sizes which is a win. I love grabbing a few bold pieces from here. I don't really go to the mall for much so I just park in the back entrance near Macy's, walk into H&M and Forever21 and then jet. read more

I'm a big fan of H&M. They have good prices and are fashion forward in my opinion. Consider that you can get a nice basic top for only $9.99, or a great looking basic dress for $14.99. I always find something that fits and looks nice on my body shape whenever I go. Regarding the H&M chain overall, I love that they put sustainability as a priority. They have a line called the Conscious Exclusive collection, a changing group of "environmentally friendly" pieces. I also like that H&M collects used clothing at all of it's locations that it either donates for reuse or recycles back into the supply chain. In the past they offered a discount if you brought 3 used H&M items and turned them in at this location. I'm not sure if they are still doing that. This H&M has two floors and offers men's, women's and children's clothing. For women they have casual, business, night out, pajamas / lingerie, and maternity. They also have accessories including shoes and jewelry. I like the nice collection of styles including glam - with clean lines and bright colors that make me want to go out for a martini, and lodge - soft cottony romantic tops that remind me of a log cabin or hike. This store as a very small but useful maternity section with maternity leggings, jeans, tops and dresses. There aren't that many styles, maybe only like 4-5 tops, 2 dresses, and lots of essentials, but it's a good offering considering most of their clients are not coming here for this. The staff here is always friendly, even though most of the time I've visited there is a line for both the fitting room and to check out. Always good deals and many different sizing options. I also love that you can donate old clothing and receive an in store discount for doing so. The employees on the floor are always friendly and greet me as soon as I walk in the door. It's the cashiers that seem to be very upset and just unfriendly. Sometimes I'll shop around and have a few things in my hand and ready to go, and then see a grumpy cashier and just put my items back where they originated and leave empty handed. I've worked retail, so I understand that dealing with customers can be tiring and somewhat unpleasant. But a "thank you" or "how are you" wouldn't be too hard to toss out there. I'll definitely return due to the sales and cute clothes. Just hoping for more energy. read more

Cute clothes and all, but I just had literally one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had in all my shopping experience. Went to H&M because I had a gift card. Waited in line for over 10 minutes, got up to the register with approximately $90 worth of merchandise. As I went to pay, I was searching in my purse, and couldn't find my gift card anywhere. So as not to hold up the line for others, I asked if they could suspend the sale, so I could go off to the side and look through my purse for the gift card. When I came back to the same Clerk who rang my sale, he informed me I would need to wait in the line all over again... The line which now stretched about 12 people deep. My sale was still in the register suspended... But they wanted me to go back and spend another 10-15 minutes in line. Seriously? Walked out. They lost that sale. I really am floored that they would do this. He even asked his manager, and she said yes, she has to wait in line again. Regional manager, anyone higher up at H&M? Is this really how you want to treat customers? read more

It might look good, but it's really crappy, cheap clothing. I've bought a lot of stuff at this store and nothing holds up. The styles are modern and fresh, but they don't look like that after a couple trips through the wash. They also do some very deceptive things in their stores. They have a sale rack with a sign on top that says $10. I found a pair of jeans on this rack that I liked (and that fitted) so I took them to the register. Sorry, those are $25. "but those were on the $10 rack" I said. She says, well... you have to look closely at the sign... it says $10 and up. So I actually went back to the sign and sure enough in type that was about 1/32 of an inch high the disclaimer was there. Crappy clothes, crappy tactics means I won't be back and you should keep going too. read more

The first time I went in to H&M I found jeans and a cute top that fit really well and was inexpensive. Since that first visit my finds have been hit or miss. I've found a handful of cute things that I love wearing but I've also spent an hour to come out empty handed. It seems like the style of the store changes- either its hot or cold. They do have some really adorable kids and baby clothes at great prices. Even if I don't find something I usually find something for the kids. In fact, the racks seems to be so packed it can be hard to shop. Often times the items they have are a disheveled wreck. This is why it can take hours sifting through the mess to find something you want to buy. The staff is generally tough to find and even tougher to get help from. I asked one girl with help regarding size. She mumbled something then proceeded to disappear. I couldn't find anyone else working that part of the store. Very frustrating. They really need more staff and better training. read more

This store is by far the worst retail experience I have ever had in my entire life. I recently bought two pairs of shorts and a tank top. I wore one pair and left the other in the bag because I usually wear shorts on the weekend as I work a 9-5 all week. When I looked at the other pair there was a small tear I didn't notice on the shorts. I took them back, within 90 days mind you and with the receipt to just do an even exchange. I even explained the situation and told them the other two products were fine, I just wanted to replace the shorts. The manager on duty basically said I was lying and told me he couldn't do anything for me. I'm never shopping at any H and M every again and I'm making sure I tell other people not to as well. I literally never complain about anything but this was just ridiculous. I wish I could've left a 0 star review. read more

I was GOING to purchase a ring on the $5.99 sales rack. At the cashier, it rang up for $7.99- regular price. The salesperson said, "only select items on that rack are on sale. It's like that throughout the store." She's RIGHT- deceptively small print on all the signs indicate items are in sales when they may not be. DECEPTIVE SALES PRACTICES!!!!! Terrible customer service by the staff. I shop here because I like the clothing for the kids and for myself, but I'd rather shop online than deal with the employees. I'd rather pick paint off the wall than have to speak to any other them either. Oh, and the store is unreasonably hot. read more

One of many clothing stores around the Altamonte Mall, I came in here to see what this store has to offer. There is lots of good clothe a bit expensive and they even have a second floor up stairs with mans clothe, there is different styles and the staff seemed ok. From what I saw and heard this store seems very popular but actually did not buy anything I just happened to stop by in here while in the mall. If you want good brand clothe at a somewhat expensive but nice and good style clothe this is the place to go. read more

So glad when H&M was brought to the altamonte mall. I have been to stores in chicago, new york and charleston. I was sad there wasn't one close to me in florida. This store is two floors. Top floor is men and bottom floor is women clothes/accessories. I usually run in here real quick when I am at the mall to see what they have. I usually find cute, trendy and funky tops here for a real good price even though quality is not the best. They also have dressier work type clothes available. I love the different headbands and hair accessories they offer. read more

Although I haven't bought anything recently, I still usually walk in to browse almost every visit I the mall. Big store with guys/kids line upstairs. I do like their tanks which last time I saw were $7, and nice enough to layer for work! Yeahh!! I just realized how outdated my worth-drove is. Came here and loved their tops. I couldn't stop grabbing tops. I saw this store in Los Angeles and I just wanted to buy the entire store.
