I did some Black Friday shopping online. I just couldn't pass up the deals. I navigated the website easily. Some items were shipped to the house and I offered to pick others up at the store. It's been awhile since I've been to kohls and they had a lot of great sales. I was loving their clearance section. I'll be back to use my kohls cash. You can also use it in online. Ran into Kohl's this lovely Tuesday morning to pickup my prepaid order. I headed to the back area near restrooms where I picked up a purchase before. The employee scanned my email and was super nice letting me know it was located up front in the new area in number 129. I walked over and another friendly employee checked my email and walked me to 129 and handed me my order. The store has lots of selections at a great value to pick from. They also give you kohl's cash to use towards your next purchase with kohl's. I was in and out under an hour. Great value on a variety of merchandise. read more

Conveniently located at the intersection of 434 and 436. They have well stocked merchandise. The staff is helpful at the entrance. But if you need assistance later inside...you barely see the staff. Everyone seems to be roaming around near the front area. The only plus point is that, they have Amazon Returns. You don't even have to pack the item. They do it for you. And they also give you a 25% off kohls coupon to use within a week. Almost all of their coupons work only on certain items and brands. I have never been able to use a coupon for any item I have bought. You do get Kohl's cash which you can use it later within a certain time. The store is pretty clean and the staff wears masks. Near the check out area they maintain social distancing. They also wipe down the counters after every customer checks out. There are hand sanitizer bottles on the counters. Love going to Kohl's, it's where I go to nearly by everything for myself, whether it be clothes, household stuff, decor, etc. This is my main location because it's so close to where I work. I'm a frequent online shopper and usually have things shipped to the store so I can pick it up, or have it picked up the same day I place the order. Never had any issues and I'll continue doing this. But because I'm a frequent online shopper, I buy a lot of clothes, and sometimes not all clothes fit, so I have to return those ones. When I do returns I always keep my receipts, and if I misplace the receipts I always have my order number and SKU numbers ready in case they're needed. Never had any issues. I am appalled by the lack of customer service given to me each and every time by Liz at the help desk. Each and every time I've had to return something or pick something up, which ISN'T that often, she never smiles, greets, or has the smallest amount of friendliness to her. She makes me feel extremely unwelcome and awkward. I would have given this store 5 stars, but unfortunately Liz took one off. The rest of the employees are super helpful and friendly! read more

It's been a while since I was in the Altamont store and it's changed for the better. It looks so nice and organized. I bought four chairs and Joey from Chicago was such a great employee finding a way for them to fit in my car so I could get them home. I took one star away because the shoe department needs a little more organizing very hard to find the right shoe in the right size. read more

Went online to get my father two shorts and my nephew a pair of joggers and shorts for Christmas. Nephew loved the joggers, but both of them hated the 10 inch inseam on the shorts, so I returned them and got my father a lovely shirt instead. The returns were insanely easy to do. The store merchandise was really low in some areas, which made me wonder whether they were closing this location or if it's simply due to the holiday shopping taking its toll. read more

I wanted to buy something for my cats birthday but when I went to check out the cashier Geraldina wouldn't give me my coupons and tried to get me to invest in some pyramid scheme. The three stars go to the rest of the store, the minus two go to the customer service/returns area. I'm a frequent online shopper with Kohl's. I've been shopping with Kohl's for the last 15 years. Almost my whole wardrobe is from Kohl's. When I buy online I'll usually do store pickup or ship to store. I have the one in Altamonte Springs as my main store since it's close to my work. Since I shop mainly online, I do have to do returns every now and then if something doesn't fit. However, for the last year or so (since I've moved to this area), the returns have been very unpleasant. Liz who works behind the customer service desk makes every visit very unpleasant. She does not greet customers, does not smile, barely speaks to us, and generally looks and acts unhappy working there, etc. She works evenings which is usually the time I go out so I always have to interact with her. Tonight was the last night I'll come to this Kohl's location. I came in with an online return, and as I was walking to the desk (barely halfway there), she shouts "Amazon or Kohl's return??" I'm a bit hard of hearing in one of my ears so I didn't catch the Amazon part, I mistakingly thought she was asking me if I was returning or needed general customer service. I politely answered I was returning. Again she shouts "Amazon or Kohl's return??" I said back Kohl's. I know there's a different spot for Amazon, again I've been with Kohl's for years. She was silent the whole return with a frown and only asked me for the order number and SKU number for the product since it had no tags (I guess she assumes all customers have this info, good thing I did). She gave me my receipt and that was it. I'm tired of her unfriendliness, if I didn't have to do returns so much (I know it's annoying but again, I really only do clothes shopping online and it's hard to figure out your size sometimes), I'd probably continue shopping at this location. But she sucks the niceness right out of this store. I work retail and I get some days can be harder than others but there's no excuse for her unpleasantness every single time I'm here. This clothing store is in a good location at 436 and 434. There is a lot of merchandise in this store such as cookware, linens, cologne, clothing for all age groups, exercise wear, jewelry, toys and shoes. It can take awhile to shop because there is alot of merchandise in this store. Today I was looking for cologne on sale for some final holiday shopping. I found some good buys on some other items and a customer gave me a 15% off coupon. A more winning ....after my purchase I earned an additional $30 to come back after the 25th for more shopping. My mother has pretty much stopped going to the clothing stores in the Mall since the Kohl's first opened up near our house and I can see why! Great stuff from American designers (Calvin Klein/ Vera Wang, etc) and at half the price from the stores at the Mall! If you are a member, they send a $10 gift card for your Bday month and a $5 card for your anniversary day. Also cash back offers and lots of sales. It's mostly clothes sold here, but they also have a somewhat smaller selections of house goods like candles and bed sheets plus decorations. One thing that stops it being a total 5 star for me is the lack of sales staff - I had to go to the sales counter to ask for help, so be prepared for a very independent clothes shopping experience here! Last weekend my wife, 6 month old son, & I headed over to Kohl's for an afternoon of shopping as we do every few weeks. This time was different. When leaving the family dressing room on the men's end of the store, an employee quickly descended upon my wife and son as I headed to grab a larger size asking if her, "Did you just leave the dressing room? Were you all in there together?" The accusing tone was uncomfortable for her and unjustified. He then told her she and my son are not allowed in the dressing room with me. It wasn't a preventative measure to ensure she didn't go into the dressing room with our child and I, it was a shaming for having been in there in the first place. When I circled back around to my wife and son I was shocked to hear this happened. I'm almost happy I wasn't there for the conversation because judging by the tone, I'd have reacted in a way consistent with the absurdity of it all. On the way to the restroom I saw the gentleman who basically scolded my wife and was given a dirty look. (What in God's name is wrong with people?) When I asked to speak to the store manager I was met by a timid figure who after 2 seconds of telling him the story was told, "I know exactly who you're talking about." I asked if there's s policy about families inside the dressing room. His response was that it was unofficial and unwritten. That to me is a NO. He then asked if my wife was BREASTFEEDING which she was not but that's beyond inappropriate to ask and also NONE OF YOUR GODDAMN BUSINESS. The conversation was minimally apologetic and made me feel less than valued as a very frequent customer. Although we generally enjoy the shopping experience, we will never return to this location and will be spreading the word about the harassment and poor quality of service by the manager when given an opportunity to make things right. Solid 3 Selection is good for juniors but popular sizes sell out fast. Don't walk away from a medium. Same with men's if you want to buy a large or extra-large you'd better grab it while it's there. So many times I found something I wanted to buy but it was always sold out in the size I need. Prices are a crazy mash-up of way overpriced and on sale and more on sale. Hard to know when you go in there, what you'll find, price-wise. Atmosphere is clean and organized. Sales associates are hard to come by. Be prepared to trek up to the customer service desk & wait in line if you really can't figure it out. Smells: too much deodorizer! Especially in the fitting rooms. It hits you like a wall and coats your face, nose, mouth. ..it's like you're eating perfume soup in there. Beware if your allergic. read more

I have been shopping at this location for years, even through my moves where I lived in Apopka, Altamonte, and now Longwood. I love their sales, although I have noticed their prices have jumped up quite a bit in the past years. Lately their plus section has been lacking, and they're not really catering to a younger crowd who might be a little curvy. I do like that they carry Food Network products, they are very well made and everything I've purchased is still in great shape. I have not had any issues with the cashiers, but sometimes the lines can get a bit long and there isn't always a sufficient amount of people to check you out. I love their return policy and I have never had an issue returning items whether I bought them at that location, online, or another brick and mortar location. The customer service staff is hit or miss though, as far as friendliness and an urgency to take care of customers go. They do have a great variety of products, from kitchenware to luggage to clothing to home decor to makeup & accessories. As a card holder I get some great coupons which is nice, and I do also like their yes to you rewards program. If they had a better selection of plus size clothes and the staff was a bit more consistent I would give a better star rating. read more

First off, I am a serious bargain shopper. Some might even consdier me a cheap shopper. Regardless, I usually know a good deal when I see one. This was my first visit to a Kohl's. And during this visit, I purchased both my first and last item from this store. I grabbed a 50% picture to go in my bedroom, which I am redocorating on a budget. So my total was about $15, and I was thrilled for such a great deal. But last night, when I tried to hang the picture, it literally fell apart it my hands. The frame fell apart and then the glass cracked. While I was holding it. I have to remind myself that sometimes the cheapest option is not the best. I'm a HUGE fan of never having to pay full price for something from a retail outlet and at Kohl's I win every time! Talk about some great deals. They are to-die-for! I love this location, and not just because it is minutes from my house, although that is certainly a HUGE advantage. The customer service is always above par, I love that I can return almost anything and the store is almost always (I say almost because I've braved venturing here on Black Friday) in immaculate condition. So many selections and so many great deals - what's not to like? Just don't let them weasel you into a Kohl's credit card. I drove over to Kohl's because their website wouldn't allow my to buy the shoes I wanted online. Once I arrived I couldn't find the sneakers. The sales associates checked and it showed the sneakers were in stock but we couldn't find them. The shoe department was wreck. They need a better system. The store is huge, clean and all of the employees are super nice and helpful. Now let's talk about the deals. They are fantastic! There's always some sort of discount going on, but if you check out the local newspaper..you'll find even more. And if you have a Kohl's credit card, like my mother...the coupons just keep on coming. I went shopping here yesterday afternoon since my mother had a discount card, which was good for 15%-20% off the entire purchase. I got some nice shirts and 3 pairs of slacks for a decent total (I forget how much; she was with me and I think kept the receipt, which I don't have here at home). The quality of the merchandise here is pretty good - I easily could've bought much more here. The customer service is great - our cashier yesterday afternoon was overly friendly. The store appeared to be clean and well-kept. No issues there. I did find some items to be overpriced, though. There was a pair of cotton sleep pants or whatever that I would've liked to get, but they were $30. I thought that was a bit excessive for something I'm just going to fall asleep in. I think the ones that I currently have were $10 or less at Target. That's really my only issue from my visit here yesterday. Some items that I didn't think were anything special were priced much more highly than I was expecting. I don't believe these were "designer" sleep pants or what have you - they just looked like normal grey cotton ones, to me. I can't imagine why they would cost $30. Oh, well. I likely will be back here again at some point in the near future to look around some more and will update my review, if necessary, after that. For now? 4 stars. read more

I'm unsure how I feel about Kohl's. On one hand, it is awesome to have things always on sale, or at least appear to be. On the other hand, I think I would just rather know the actual price, than to see a digital display showing me suggested retail vs. their "sale" price. There are good deals to be found, so I guess this is more just a preference on my part. I do love their huge selection of clothing, and they usually have some good brands to go along with their proprietary stuff. We signed up for the Kohl's card, and that is always nice as it allows for extra discounts every time you shop. My other issue with Kohl's is just the overall lack of cashier help. I can't recall a time I have ever shopped here where I didn't have to wait at least 5-10 minutes just to get to the cashier. Many times only one is open, they are forced to call backups, and even then, the lines progress slowly. In the world of retail, where Target always runs employees to the rescue for checkout, it is just a bit of a downer. All this to say, it is not always my favorite store to shop in, but I know many times I will find a good deal, and that makes it all worth it in the end. read more

Altamonte Springs Kohl's near 436 and 434 was a joke; overpriced average-name-brand products...Dockers...men's pants casual, $44... and $50 + !!!! Levis for $50 and up...Young clerks on the floor were too busy to help seniors or regular folks. In fact, the skinny girl working in the men's department at 7 pm on 10/4, with the ill fitting very tight low rise pants, did not once look around to assist anyone...The digital price toppers were dark and you coudn't see them. The poor service, a store in disarray, clerks who have no interest in selling let alone helping anyone does not inspire me to want to go back. read more

The selection for teenage girls was horrible! Nothing they can wear in public unless they want to look trashy. The shoe selection was trendy but nothing comfortable. A Kohls is a Kohls but this location is not as awesome as the one by my house in NY. True, especially in FL, the season is in between, but I was shocked to find the women's section so minimal & lame. I get all my T-shirts here usually & there were only 2 when I normally come out with a year's supply to knock around in. I require women's sizes up top because I'm cursed, although some would say I'm blessed. I think not. I did have Kohls cash though so I payed $7 for 2 T-shirts since I bought a bunch of baby outfits for my friends' kids a week ago in NY for Christmas, so I'll take it. The store is clean but I found it quite dim, almost dark inside. Maybe they are saving on electricity?! The cashier was quite friendly & even complimented my blue eyes :) that made my day!! This is a nice Kohl's location, they have a good selection of regular and seasonal merchandise. The sale items are usually in stock and they have a good selection of the Keurig brand K cups (Coffee pods), which are a great deal when you buy them on sale, or use a coupon, or use Kohl's cash. Staff is friendly, quick at the registers. If they see the line getting longer, new registers open up pretty quickly. The customer service department is very nice. While I feel for the reviewer (Kate H.) who wasn't happy with the broken frame...rating this location a 1 star doesn't seem right. That would be a Kohl's corporate general issue. If you returned the frame to this store, they would have refunded your money or exchanged it out. I've bought plenty of stuff at various Kohl's locations over the years and in the few times there has been a problem, they have been great about swapping stuff out. So, the only reason I dropped by is because I got a gift card. I mean, I am petite and shopping can be a nightmare if not at the right store. I love the Daisy Fuentes and Simply Vera line here because they do have a trendy petite line. Now, one good thing about Kohl's is that they have a lot of everything. So I was able to pick up some cool shoes here as well as any other needed accessories. Kohl's is forever having sales, so the price is nearly always right. I also received Kohl's cash--$10 additional dollars off I can use between a certain time frame for more purchases. I will say if I use this incentive, I'll use it online. read more

I never want to go to Kohls, but sooner or later I get dragged into one. I must admit I do get a lot of my clothes there. I am always disappointed with the sneaker selection. The sneakers I like have the digital price I like, then either nothing in stock or giant man shoes. It's like they lower the prices on things never in stock. Regardless, we do buy there, we only buy items on sale, on top of like a $10 or $20 discount and a 20% price cut, It's way to complicated for me, but my wife figures it out. We get five or six items usually around $50. One thing some of the items are made cheaply, I bought a higher end shirt that fell apart in the wash, it might have been the exception. read more
