The thing I love most about a Torrid clothing store is the consistency in sizes with new styles to choose from. I can confidently order from them online and have it delivered to the store. You can avoid paying shipping this way AND you will get an additional 10 % off anything you buy in store that day. They are always running sales so you can get some great styles for pretty cheap. I've been a loyal shopper to Torrid for many years. I love the clothes and the fact that as a plus size woman, I know there are cute and trendy clothes out there for me. I know the prices are higher but I will say the quality of the clothing is very good. I especially love to shop the sales because they can be very good. Today I went in to pick up shoes that I ordered online for pick up in store. (I attached the picture). I LOVE their shoes because they are made for wide feet - which I have. While I was there, the sales girl, Alexys, helped me out and she was so kind and sweet. She set me up in a dressing room and did price checks for me. Yes, the sell plus sized clothes but they also have sizes for the average body which is wonderful. I love getting my work pants from Torrid because the material is this thick but stretchy Ponte which lasts for a good long time and fits wonderfully. Love their shirts but have had some issues with the tshirts, which I wear and wash quite often going pilly and then I cannot use them at wotk anymore. The fabric is light and flowy so it's great for this down south heat. When they throw specials it's time to stock up! So many great designs and deals to buy. read more

This was my first time in the store after I had ordered an item online and chose the ship to store option as it is free and I had other items to pick up at the mall. The employee who helped me was nice and not pushy. There seemed to be A LOT of employees working and as I was the only customer in the store I felt very under the microscope as I browsed the items in store. read more

Today was my first visit since they remodeled this location. I was in clothing heaven. So many beautiful shirts. I only wear the shirts from Torrid since the pants always fit me weird. I love that the fitting rooms have fans now. .. it does get hot when you're trying on clothes in small spaces. Since the remodel the store seems to have PLENTY of room to move around and shop which I love. I have to touch everything. The cashier was meh. She seemed stressed due to all the customers that started to decide to be in line at once. read more

Not really knowing anything about the store, a close friend of mine and me ventured in. My friend looked around a little, before we discovered the store was more of a plus sized women's store. That's fine, it just wasn't really a fit for either of us. What I noticed... was that the staff wasn't interested in anyone who was coming in. They were in the back talking. They said, "Welcome in", from the back, and then continued talking. I don't think that's particularly good service, to be honest. I just stopped by the Altamonte Springs Torrid to pick a up a couple pairs of pants and I just want to say that I am very happy with how helpful all of the employees were. They were super pleasant and made sure I had everything I needed. Went above and beyond to help me find things I was looking for and more. The only reason I pulled a star off is because Torrid is pretty expensive. I spent $100 on 2 items (1 pair of pants and 1 pair of shorts) and that was with a 30% discount. I have worn their clothes before and because a lot of them are stretchy jean, they don't last that well in between the legs. They end up getting pretty roughed up from your legs rubbing together and sometimes left with holes after about a year or 2. Their panties are also really expensive with some being at about $20 a pop. I just wish that it was a little more affordable because it's the only plus size store that I like to shop at. Luckily they give you "torrid cash" after you spend a certain amount of money and they do have coupons frequently. read more

Just want to say how good the team at this Torrid store were about taking back a dress that I was unhappy with - just excellent and gracious customer service. I had purchased a dress and worn it once and somehow the material got really bad fuzz on it which looked awful against the black background and definitely made it impossible for wearing to work again. The store sales person verified that it wasn't fabric fuzz that could be removed by a lint brush and then gave me a store credit, which I was happy to get since will continue to keep shopping at Torrid. read more

So im new to this area and visited a Torrid years ago in Ga. Back then i LOVED this store and had been looking for 1 for years. Here now i live in this area so i decided to swing by and let me tell you i was in plus size earthly heaven:D i went crazy in here literally! It felt so good to shop and they have your size and you dont feel ashamed to dress sexy and pic clothes. They are pricey but ive never had an issue with cheap clothing they really do last if you handle them with proper was/dry care. They were running bogo sale on clearance items and if you try on a bra you get $5 off so much fun shopping here i will def be going back! read more

Let me start with the fact that I LOVE Torrid. I get all of my clothes here; intimates, workout, jammies, work cloths, dresses, shoes, legit everything and have for years. So this review is strictly for this location. I've recently moved from California and wanted to take advantage of their recent sell so I ordered online and had it shipped to what would be the nearest location to my new home. I thought I would get my dress delivered securely and get to visit my favorite store in my new location! Unfortunately my experience today was not everything I hoped for. When I went to the front there was already a customer ahead of me being helped. This customer was not a native English speaker and both she and the sales associates had to ask each other to repeat things. (This was not the problem.) The issue was in the way the associate spoke down to this poor woman during the entire exchange. I was shocked, but then thought that I may have missed something that the customer did before I walked up to the line. When it was my turn I explained that I was there to pickup a delivery and gave her my name. After a little while I asked her if my order number would help her find it more easily, assuming that something may have gone wrong when I ordered the item. To which she replied, "My system is slow, I know how to spell (my last name)." while holding her hand up in the air between us. The entire exchange after that just continued to go downhill. Everything she said was with a defensive or confrontational tone. She turned something that should have been an exciting moment into an awful experience. I will for sure be driving the extra distance to shop at the other stores in the area. The store itself was clean, organized, and had a decent selection. So disappointed. read more
