i used to count on this place to find cheap trendy pieces to accentuate my wardrobe. Alas...it has become hit and miss and not always so cheap. I almost fainted when I noted last week that a paper thin jacket that probably cost .01 cents to make was priced at $65.00. I mean...you can get a GOOD jacket at a department store at just about any sale for that price. The lines are slow, the clothing is scattered, and there are always shifty characters in there (though that does provide some excellent people watching). I've limited my visits to when I'm eating or seeing a movie in the area and have time to kill. This is exactly what happened last week. I walked out with a few things at a little over $100.00. I went back to back weekends, while their Anniversary Sale was going on. With that being said, this place was CHAOS.... like Forever 21 on a good day. Clothes and people everywhere. I did walk away both times with some pretty great deals and I fit their clothes pretty well. My only complaint would be the same as the ones stated above. Open up a new register is clearly both the upstairs and downstairs registers have lines of 10+ more people. Also, I didn't understand why they closed one of the dressing rooms when the men's section was still packed with people grabbing clothes. Ok - let me start off by saying, maybe its because I was shopping there on a saturday... but jesus! it was hard to move in here! And guys - if you have a line thats 15 people deep... This place seems to be running a scam and not letting anyone return purchases prior to Christmas. How can the registers be up and available for sales but not available for returns??? I have gone back over the period of 9 days and they still say that returns are not "working". Then some yahoo offered to take my name and number and call me when returns were available. That would have been good if he didn't write it on a piece of scrap paper that he then placed very near the garbage can. Give me a break. Never going back to that location. read more

This is a typical H&M and I love it! I miss having one close. Every time I drive through the ATL I stop, no matter what. It's probably better for my wallet that I no longer live next to 5 H&M's but for my closet it's bad! I always end up spending under $100 and leave with at least 3-5 items. This past trip I got a sweet stripped sweater, navy skirt and a sweater dress. Furthermore, every time i wear my H&M clothes I get a compliment. Nashville, why don't you have one??? I give this store five stars for the fact that every time I go there I can manage to put together what I am looking for and within a decent budget. I do tend to feel like it gets to resemble a swap meet on the weekends but its just that busy with all of the folks who can't seek to look at things and put them back how they found it. Okay, I've been to the Atlantic Station location twice now, and I definitely recommend going on a Monday morning! No lines, no crowds, etc. Skip the weekends at all costs! Probably evenings, too, according to other reviews here. I'm thrilled H&M is in Atlanta. Finally! But I do hope the crowds die down. I took the mister recently, his first-ever time inside this store I kept gushing about, and I was a bit disappointed to discover how tiny the men's section is... especially compared to the kid's section, which is larger. (I did get some adorable clothes for my friend's August arrival, though!! And my co-worker found an awesome little shirt for her toddler.) But yeah... if rural Massachusetts has practically a whole floor at their H&M devoted to men's clothing, I'm not sure why Atlanta doesn't. I still give it 4 stars, though, because I'm selfish. This was my first H&M experience. I heard it was a little more expensive than forever 21 so I kinda expected the store to be messy like the "bargain store" places usually are. I like H&M. The clothes are affordable and cute, but you do get what you pay for. The reason I gave it three stars because every single time I'm there, no matter if it's early, late, weekday, or weekend, the fitting room line and check-out line is ridiculously long. I shop for 10 minutes, get what I want, and I wait 30 minutes to check-out my items. Sometimes the lines are so long I just drop the clothes I was going to purchase because the wait isn't worth the clothes. The bathing suits and bikinis are very cheap and cute! I like to buy regular tank tops and V-necks here because it's cheap and it lasts me a good while. I love the location, the store, the clothes, but the wait for everything and half of the staff being unfriendly really makes me want to shop online and not waste my time coming here. read more

As many have already stated, the cashiers at this location are rude af. The one in particular that everyone is complaining about in the comment section is called "Brit". Somehow, she's managed to be promoted to "cashier trainer". I guess now we know why the other cashier staff is so rude - they're being trained by The Wicked Witch. I encourage everyone to complain to the store manager, Felicia, if you ever have any issues with Brit. Or, just contact corporate so they can inform the regional manager of what's going on. As customers, we should not have to deal with such rudeness. There are many other stores we could be spending our money at but we decide to come to H&M...to this particular location. Anyway... This location is atrocious. As a previous Employee of H&M I can agree with many customers complaints. Firstly the store is horribly disorganized & the management is an utter catastrophic fail. During the summer it was so hot that several people passed out because the air conditioning units don't work. Mangers focused on the wrong things. Scheduling was a disaster they would have so many managers on staff & little employees so closing on weekends when there is high traffic left the store a mess for customers. The clothes are affordable, but how can you buy anything with only 2 registers open in such a busy store. If the store was ran better at Atlantic Station it'll lead to a more enjoyable experience for customers. The lines are always long & on top of that most of the employees can't tell you where something is because they don't know where they place things apparently. As many others have stated, the disposition and attitude of the staff employed at this H & M is unprofessional, rude, and inattentive. I've called to ask an associate for help locating an item and I have frequently been met with a bad attitude and an unwilling tone of voice. Customer Service 101 in 2014, smile even when customers can't SEE you, we can HEAR a SMILE. The in store attitudes are just as bad if not worse. One day a divo rudely yanked my dressing room items out of my hand!!!! Who does this? Forgive me for asking for retail assistance from someone who is paid to provide retail assistance, my sincerest apologies. Aside from the lack of customer service, this location is usually well organized considering the volume of customers that visit and has a nice selection (the only Georgia location with the stores Trend pieces). Seriously Atlanta H&M, you need to rename yourself G&G&G which stands for Girls, Gays and Ghetto. It was definitely the most interesting and diverse clientele that I have seen, which makes it exciting and so worth a trip to this location. I agree with everyone else. I have went to other locations in other parts of the country (Chicago's magnificent mile locations were the best in my opinion) and they have everything you could ever want, I walk out with multiple bags! But this location is just OK, I too have walked out of this location having purchased nothing! I only come here for purses now. They never have my size and the lines are SO long! The prices are much more expensive now than they used to be. In an economy like this, prices should be getting lower not higher. Let's get it together people! okay this location is not the best but is not the worst either. If you're impatient do not shop on the weekends because the lines are super long!! a plus is that, There is a good selection of clothes for all ages including babies. A negative is that they don't have a public restroom! so make sure you pee before you shop! I go there often so im sure the employees see me alot. When I want to look too cool for school, I go here.. Great prices and they always have something to compliment my finesse. My last visit to this store had nothing to do with me. I was helping my friend help her fiance pick out clothes for his birthday. It was a little crowded and I was tired of standing so while we waited for him to come out of the changing room, we sat down. As soon as we got a little comfortable, the store clerk told us to get up. I never said this was the ideal Customer Service place but this was uncalled for. i was really disappointed with this store. i first knew about it when i was living in new york back in 2000 when this store was so happening up there. they had so much trendy styles at a much lower price tag than it is currently. now that it finally made its way down south, their fashion seems stale to me. given that the H&M at atlantic station has all the couture items and the other two store (one at northpoint mall and one at mall of ga) are both very disappointing nonetheless. the prices had gone up as well. i would rather shop at old navy. eeek read more

I like the layout of this store because the "Divided" line for women is upstairs, separated from the rest of the ladies clothing downstairs. Besides the hectic weekend crowds, this store is really pleasant to walk around in. Though the accessories area could be kept neater. I love browsing around this eclectic shop. I used to shop at the store in downtown Boston literally everyday or every other day when I worked in that city. I don't think you can guarantee that 'everyone' will find something for themselves all of the time. But, you never know what you'll find and that is what makes shopping at H&M so fun. H&M does do a great job of offering something for the office, lounging around the house or having fun outside. It's such a breath of fresh air compared to the drab selections you find at the department stores, plus, the prices can't be beat! I love getting great and cheap sunglasses too! read more
