The return process went smoothly. Most of the items i've purchased have lasted well except for one item which I already got a couple of uses from it. My other items still look good. I am surprised that h & m is still in the malls. While I like the store I saw that they were closing some of their other stores while I was out of state shopping elsewhere. They have long lines where there are a lot of people trying on clothes. The line is usually gigantic no matter when it is. Well it is even busier during the holiday season. I like the variety they have for the clothes. The prices seem pretty good too. We have to be careful of fast fashion these days and take care of the environment and spending I heard. Some places make clothes that are supposed to last a lifetime. I heard some have turned to mending old clothes instead of buying new ones to be more conscientious. Once someone asked me about where to get their shoes fixed and how to get ink replaced in their pens. I thought that was very admirable. read more

I've experienced idiot customer service before, but the cashier lizzie had refused to help me and left me standing at the counter aimless after allowing me to come to her register. A better implementation is needed when you're next in line, and the cashier decides to take a break or walk away from her register. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of professional women's clothes. I came hoping to find a black blazer that wouldn't break the bank, and I left with the perfect piece. I also left with another wine-colored blazer and matching pants. I was surprised by how well they fit. As with all fast-fashion places, the quality of items varies dramatically. Know what you're looking for and check the piece fully and you can end up with some cheap treasure. That being said, you will wade through some crap. No one said budget shopping was easy. The employees were fine- I prefer to browse solo. I went around 5pm on a weekday and there were no lines. They have no limit to how many items you can take into a dressing room, which I appreciated. All in all, I prefer this location to the Tempe Marketplace H&M. read more

An okay experience. Nothing to brag about but nothing to really complain about either. We were looking for a basic white tee for my daughter and found a few workable options, which I very much appreciated. We weren't greeted upon entering and I wouldn't say that the folks at the register were overly friendly. The first I walked up to was busy doing something else that had zero to do with helping a customer and told me that someone else would be with me shortly. It didn't take long for a young man to arrive. He handled the transaction efficiently but again wasn't overly pleasant. So I fully understand their overall mediocre rating. Love the clothes and the good prices. The only thing that was bad was the girl at the register in the men's section today, January 8th when I was there at 6pm. Obviously didn't care about being a good employee. I understand not wanting to be an overachiever or doing too much because of the job, but she didn't even try to be nice. Worst customer service experience ever. Luis with a Mickey Mouse shirt was no help. After standing at the register he finally waddled his way over I asked him to check a balance on a gift card and he took the card and handed me a receipt with the balance on it with no verbal communication. Very rude! Then my handicap mother asked him about a larger size in a shirt and he said "it should be right next to the other one" as if we didn't look in the first place. Then she asked him if we could order it and he said no that's all they have. As if we were a hassle. I don't usually post negative stuff but the way he treated my mother was disrespectful. None of the employees greeted me or spoke to me, but they did stare at me impatiently as if I was in their way while they were putting clothes up on the racks I was looking at in different areas all over the store. First of all, who doesn't like H&M? For nice looking, decent-quality attire, it is very well priced (especially if you hit a good sale). There's cute and trendy clothes, items for the young professional, tons of accessories, and sections for men, women and children. I LOVE the men's shirts; they are so soft, I literally can't keep my hands off my boyfriend. This particular location is new to Chandler Fashion, and occupies both levels of the mall. I'm trying not to hold it against them that they took over the former Frederick's of Hollywood space. I've been in a few times, and always received friendly service. Most notably, I ran in at 8pm the other day (an hour before closing) desperate to find two items for an upcoming event. I found the belt immediately ($6, right inside the front door, and exactly what I was looking for!) but had trouble finding a shawl/jacket to cover my shoulders. One saleswoman noticed me struggling and asked if she could help, so I showed her a picture of the dress I already had and told her the problem. She disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a suggestion for me, and it was on sale nonetheless. I didn't end up buying it (I found a nice scarf by the register) but I appreciated that she went out of her way to help. At the last moment I found a second scarf, and debated a moment at the register about which one to choose. The cashier pointed out the skull beads on the second option, which she was recommending, but agreed it was not appropriate for a wedding once she found out that's what it was for. We had a good laugh, and I felt no pressure to rush. I also picked up a hair clip that was super cute, and my whole purchase came in under the price of one belt at Target. I just had THEE most annoying experience ever with this company. About two weeks ago I made an online order of 4 items. About a week later I received an email stating that my order had shipped.. When I viewed my order i noticed that there were only 3 items listed and no pending orders for my 4th item. I called h&m and after looking into my account.. the lady goes " oh the fur vest you ordered sold out so you won't be receiving it nor charged for it" .. thats all fine and dandy but don't you think your customer service department should have issued me an email letting me know i wasn't receiving my item as opposed to just not listing it in my shipping order? SO ANNOYING. Having to call to find out you aren't receiving an item is not ok.. they should let the customer know. read more

i was returning some pairs of pants that didn't fit me, and i used a 10% off coupon for them. i wanted to exchange them for the exact same pairs of pants except different sizes. i actually had to pay the difference because apparently the 10% off coupon doesn't transfer? even though your fitting rooms are closed and i can't even try on the items to make sure they fit? so i lose a coupon because of you guys? doesn't make sense to not price match the exact same item. read more

I was very disappointed with my service. I bought a pair of pants and went to another store and tried on the pants with a new shirt. I realized the zipper was broken and went right back to the store to return them. I didn't realize the pants were a final sale item and the girl at the register didn't mention that to me when making my purchase. Maybe 20 minutes went by from the time I purchased them and brought them back. They would not refund my money. walked in the door with a few friends last night(11/17/12) and was NEVER greeted, not even once, i've worked retail for over 3 years and i'd straight up get fired if i was on that sales floor. there were employees wandering around chatting with each other in the corner, staring down anyone who got too close, it was like a scene from the high school cafeteria in mean girls. it's like they hired every college burnout stylist wannabee they could possibly find, and then some. if you're looking for fast fashion, save your money and go to goodwill, at least there's some variety there. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went to H&M to look at suits for a wedding and multiple employees told me if I needed to place an item on hold I could just give them a call. Well I ended up leaving the store and realized that I would need to put that item on hold so I called in. It routed me to customer service so I talked to customer service and told them my issue and said I need to put this item on hold. The customer service rep said that it is against company policy even after I was told by multiple employees that this is something that they could do.when I told her I was confused after being told I could she ended up hanging up on me. This is not how to solve customer issues and they need to make it clear in the store that we can't call in. read more

Being a single mom with a few boys that were going to prom this year and didn't want to spend a lot of money for a one night retail, so an other mother said that they got there suit from here for cheap, so I didn't know anything about suits or how to pair up Pants or shirts or anything, an employee at men's help us out so much he pick out everything for us from tie to dress shirt to pants he was extremely helpful with everything, it was slim picking on the dress shoes ,I didn't see see his name it was worn out but he had blond hair on the top with black roots, as we went down stairs to try on thing I wanted to do a little shopping for my self, I didn't see any one on the floor to help me out with the sizes, And is was really messy compared to upstairs, they have a lot of different kind of clothes for a good price , I mean for the prices you get that store can look like that but I will for sure come back and look for the employee for help and take my sons to the men's for every day clothes and next prom from...
