I today I lvisited H&M, and I might just be a bit too old for it now! The music was just too loud for my taste, and I had some trouble finding assistance at first. Needed a bucket Hat and shirt I even had to go to a changing room to find someone to help me. The worst customer service ever! I understand retail can be hard. I understand customers can be difficult, but if you approach every Customer with a piss poor attitude, then your store will never be successful. I experience a cashier today named Crissy that was mad at the world and took it out on the customers of H&M. I came to return a item I have my receipt. I had everything that was needed and she just was rude lack of facial expression she didn't smell. She was completely removed from her job as a customer service rep. I think employees forget that they are in customer service and that a part of customer service is servicing the customer. Crissy asked me did I have my app? I told her I was in a rush and I did I need the app to return. She said no you need it for your receipt. She processes the return and two receipts print out the computer two paper receipts. I asked Crissy if I could have one of the paper receipts. She told me they were hers and then I asked her to print it out. Isn't one for the customer. She snatched the receipt out of the computer and had it handed it to me. Her energy, her facial expression, her tone of voice she needs to not be upfront helping guest. So I walk upstairs to ask another employee because there was none downstairs in the women's section for the manager's name this employee I didn't get her name but when I asked her, what was there a manager on duty and what was their name she started walking away from me and when I pointed out, hey you're walking away from me. She goes well. I have to find out. I say you don't know the manager's name. She said we have multiple managers. I don't know their names. So she uses the walkie-talkie asked for a manager to come to the men's section. I then tell the young lady what was their name and she gives me Kaylyn. She gives me the name. I then asked her so you do know the manager's name because all I want was the manager's name so that I could reach out about my experience with Crissy so now I have two poor experiences in the same visit with H&M. The manager comes out with this blank stare, as I'm telling her what's happening, no apology, her hands and her body language, pure attitude, which made me understand why her employees act the way they do because she also is rude and have a attitude. Does H&M not want people to shop with them, do they not want people to enjoy their shopping experience, because at this point, I don't wanna come back and be treated rudely for shopping or returning. You have a return policy so I can return the item if I don't want it anymore, but to be rudely judged by these team members was not a part of my day today and left a very bad taste in my mouth for this location. I think someone needs to come and check in store a district manager a area manager. Someone needs to do a pulse check on how these employees are treating. Guess because if I was a secret shopper, they would've failed this visit. With all that we have going on in the world to be nice, to provide good service, to smile should be a part of the service provided at H&M, but it seems like that's not what the goal is anymore for customer service. Worst shopping experience I have ever had in my 49 years of living. My daughter and I waited in line and when it was our turn, walked up to the counter. The cashier offered no greeting. My daughter smiled and said "Hello" and the cashier looked at her with expressionless eyes and aggressively replied, "Is something wrong with the item?", which obviously took me aback. We've never had a bad experience in any H&M or H&M outlet store, this was the first. She was extremely rude in her temperament which caused me to say "Are you serious right now? No greeting. My daughter said hello and you didn't say anything back", to which she replied, "Do you really want to do this right now?" which stunned me and I responded "No" and she responded with, "then stay silent". I was flabbergasted and immediately asked to speak to the manager. The cashier then irritatedly yelled for her manager, Bertha, to come over, who was equally unpleasant and really didn't seem to care how her employee had been talking. She simply reassigned her to work elsewhere and finished our transaction. Truly disgusted by the entire experience. Will not go back to that location again. read more

The store has horrible customer service as far as return and exchange policies. They have no idea how to keep customers happy, I just needed to exchange 2 t shirts that added up to next to nothing m. I did not get a receipt and Ii did not have account at the time so that means they can't pull up a receipt. I think they are so use to everyone having an account they just didn't give me a receipt when made the purchase. The people who worked there are like robots, not at all good customer service. They have a good selection, pretty big store and kept fairly clean. However I was traveling and shopping alone and an associate came up to me and asked me if I had friends in a rude manner. Then I was confused because what does she mean? Then she asked me again if I had friends with me and I said no, so either she was accusing me of being in a shoplifting group or just being rude because I was shopping alone. Either way it ruined my whole shopping experience here. I guess if you're not dressed up and look like a richer person then you may be accused of shoplifting. Our family have been H&M customers for years but the last times we visited their shops in Topanga and this place many times, but couldn't find a reasonable item in quality. Finally, made the risk and bought a few items. All of them "out of order" in less than two weeks, specifically after washing.! I like this store. I've been extremely blessed and fortunate to find a myriad of necessities here at short notice in the past (specifically, late last year). I'm not an H&M person in the least, but my Gran needed casual clothes in November for physical therapy. I found some beautiful pieces for her from this specific location. She loved them. Her nurses loved them. I then found some pieces for myself as well as my mother. The pieces I purchased for us are still in beautiful condition almost a year later. I still purchase items from this location, but I'm running out of options for their staples because I have several different styles of their t-shirts and sweatshirts. H&M also changed the cuts and quality of some of their most recent staples, and they are not to my liking. That sucks, because I can really use several nice crew neck sweatshirts before this weather changes. The staff are usually quite helpful, pleasant and I don't have problems returning items if I purchase something that doesn't fit. I have also been fortunate to find a nice sweater on super sale. Check those sale racks if you love a good deal. You'll be surprised at some of the discounts you'll find. read more

I should give the store a 1 star, due to the assistant manager Tony taking the time to hear me out I'm giving them a little more. I came to buy a white blouse for an event this weekend the store associate forgot to take the sensor off and it did not ring when I was walking out. When I went to try it on again at home I notice the sensor. I came after work to get it removed and let the associate at the register know how it was an inconvenience for me to have to come back. The reason for this review is based on her response, she quickly just said well you didn't have to come to this location you could have gone to any. That was not the point whatsoever. I asked to speak to a manager and she said there's nothing we can do. I wasn't asking for that I was asking to speak to manager to let them know about this inconvenience. The establishment encompasses two floors: the Men and Children's clothing is located on the top floor and the Women's section is on the ground floor. I have discovered great deals and decent fashions at H&M, so I am definitely a fan of the establishment, and I regard H&M as a low cost designer brand-clothing store. read more

The store always has some very reasonably priced items - tshirts for $5.95, sweaters for $19.95, suit jackets for $70, dress pants for $35, etc. The store always has such stylish clothing - both in regular fit and slim fit. The racks are always filled with good inventory, yet some of the popular stuff run out quick (so buy it when you see it!). You get cheap clothes for moderately cheaply made items. Worth it for 2-5 uses! The store also has a great selection of womens, maternity, and kids clothes (although the kids clothes don't have as many sizes available, due to low inventory). My main complaint about this store is the customers. The floor is oftentimes filled with items that the customers drop and/or are too lazy to pick up. Sometimes it is hard navigating this place because it is a bit sloppy. There is only so much that the employees can do to pick up. This is fashion at it's finest. And by finest I also mean cheapest. How can anyone say that H&M has overpriced items? Go to Rodeo Drive and you will find overpriced materialistic things. Go to those unknown named stores at the malls that sell Ed Hardy and unfamiliar clothing items that go up to whazoom prices. H&M was inspired to bought by average spending individuals. They also have exclusive collections of actual fashion designers and I cannot commend how appreciative it is to buy simple clothing here with a touch of fashion. The new Westfield at Culver city has an H&M. This is so convenient for those who do not wish to travel to the one and only Beverly Center (youre in for a disaster) I dodge the Beverly Center as much as possible, too overrated and by then you will see those overly priced stores that I mentioned earlier. The location at Culver city is pretty wide. Their collections are more urban but its fun. I believe they try to style their clothing by reference of demographic area. They currently have a huge sell of 5 dollars or 10 dollars per section. Blazers, sweat pants, shirts, skirts, this isn't no swap meet it's H&M. I've been an H&M customer for years. Today, i arrived at this location at 6:00pm and was rudely asked to leave because the store was closed. I had been here several times in the last few weeks at the same time and this never happened to me. Website clearly states that the store closes at 7:00pm not 6pm. I proceded to ask if this was new because i had been there a week ago and had no problems, employee replied with an attitude "no we close we're closed now". After this experience H&M has lost a customer because i don't plan to shop in any of their stores anymore. Everything usually goes well here and their selection has gotten better, however their fitting room employees are rude asf. I was trying to try clothes and she let others in front my sister and I, and was on her phone more than helping customers which was fine. But when I tried to accompany my sister, whose a minor, they didn't let me but there was a group of adults who were allowed. The employees were rude and even talked to her friend about how my body looked and how the clothes I gotten wouldn't even fit me, assuming that I couldn't hear. The rule is that two people can't go in but they said they made exceptions for minors but in this case they refused. I feel insecure about going again. Review: Men's clothing If I was a scrawny Euro dude with no shoulders, tiny biceps, caved-in chest, flat ass and skinny thighs - this would be a cool place! But I'm 6'0, 200lbs, decent shape and nothing in this store fits me except the scarves. Nice selection of jeans but a 36" waist is the largest width and they are a tight 36" I might ad. The Loose Fit looks like Skinny Jeans on me. They have some awesome styles in jackets too but they run narrow and feel constricting. H&M size 50 jacket is like putting on a five-year-olds jacket. I literally split the back of one jacket like the Hulk in the dressing room. My bad. I tried on a few shirts and every time I looked like Right Said Fred, "I'm too sexy for my shirt." Winner! Popped in today when I was actually at the mall specifically for a sale on housewares at JCPenney. The sales were out of this world... the setup was H&M standard. Employees were nice enough, in fact, when I found a pair of $9.95 jeans in the wrong size, I approached a salesman to help me find them in my size, and he worked it out for me in about ten seconds. Turns out that today you get a $5 giftcard with any purchase... so my $9.95 jeans came with a $5 card for next time. Boo-yah! read more

This is another place that has a lot of retail space to fit a lot of people and holds a lot of stuff that people want, but forces people to stand in a long line because there are only 2 registers. Come on! You have two levels. You could have at least 4 - 5 registers like Forever 21 does. Geesh. I think I've been in here 5 times, and I've actually decided to stand in the check out line twice. This is my favorite H&M in all of Los Angeles. As a curvy girl who is not a size 2, they have a much better selection of sizes and the staff is super friendly. The only downside is the lines are always long since they are usually understaffed. Their return policy is beyond generous and at this location (unlike any others I've been too) you can take as many items into the dressing room as you like, which is a huge plus and saves tons of time! When I need new work clothes, a cute new dress or a leather jacket at an affordable price, it's one stop shopping for me here! :) read more

Is there anything else you want? Also found a cute black ruffle tiered dress for $5. CHACHING!! Yeah ppl... if you want to save money & looking good doing it you NEED to stop by H&M. This one in particular is in a great location at Westfield & is right next to F21 & near Surf City Squeeze. There really is no other reason to venture out into the rest of the mall. It's always a MESSSSSS here! Everything is crammed together and it's a mess in the store every time I've come to this location. The people are also hit and miss by the way. Sometimes I get a friendly and talkative sales associate and sometimes I get a very rude one. Very hectic at this store and there's always a long line! Why they don't have more than 1 person at the register when they're super busy around lunch time I have no idea. People need to get in and out you know. In today's retail challenge, we, customer still encounter some unexpected unprofessional customer service at such a large branded retail store, which gives consumer another confidence why we should all shop online to avoid such rude attitude, and give H & M a crisis to meet with closing down stores like Macy's and Jc penny's The cashier Justin was so rude and was throwing my credit card and Id while I was paying and also doing the exchanges on the socks. He raise his voice to mention I owe money on the exchange which in fact was identified is his mistake by his colleague but of course no apologies from Justin And I ask him is there anything wrong to make him so rude and he said nothing and continue with the same attitude like piece of sh** In the end I have to call out the store manager to report the issue but it seems he is not willing to make some judgement and changes of the store culture I feel so sorry for them, with today's retail shopping style and trend , this become such a bad example and no one will follow if they want to be successful read more

Then I realized there were two stories (and that I was in a mall) and that the girls section was at the bottom, at the "real front". But yes. Mens section. Surprisingly large. I just had the most vile experience here. I returned a sweater because I didn't like how it fit. The cashier asked if I washed it, I said no. She said, "Oh, it's huge! I guess I've just never seen an extra large before." Then she took my stuff and moved it to the right of me to make way for the next customer- as she proceeded to tell her co-worker how over the holiday season she is...what a grinch!
