Disappointed in the level of customer service provided at this store. Jocelyn & Michelle were the managers I spoke to here regarding my online order. They were very unhelpful and rude, unprofessional, provided a poor customer experience. Their main suggestion was just to call the main customer service line or come back another day to speak to the main manager Leo. The policies are very unclear and there is no desire from this team to help improve the system, but rather just defer the problem to another team member. This is a surprisingly big store, the prices are very reasonable, Wifey was looking for a basic sweatshirt "she had spent the last 2 days looking at 7 other clothes stores" as we looked around I spotted this cute Snoopy sweatshirt and told her that I thought she would look good in it. Her initial reaction was "and I quote" how cute, so she found her size and went to the dressing room to try it on. 15 min later she walks out and says let's go. Wait whaat? Don't you like it? I hardly shop at H&M but I did get a long sleeve top that was on sale for $7! I needed an extra small, there was only one left [in a pink] so I nabbed it. The store is quite large, there is a kids' area, and a men's area. Unlike the H&M at Santana Row (unless it's different due to their new location), they have an undergarment section. I got 3 panties for $10. Even looking for a size small is difficult here but that's because I did not want an ugly color / design. Thank you for the steal... I've never put in a review for a clothing store, especially for ones that everyone knows about. But man! My friends and I had some great service from an associate named Lloyd. He went above and beyond what I'm used to from a retail associate... usually it's just an "oh we don't have that" or "it's right over there". I've been a regular customer at this particular shop in Oakridge mall. Let's just lay out all the goods and the bads. The goods: 1. Store is always clean every single time I visit. 2. The kids section, seem to be somewhat organized. I don't say the clothes are always tidy and folded neatly, but I would say that it's a rare sight for me to see clothes are laid out on the floor, even on black friday sale. (Keep up the good work!) The bads: There is only one bad thing from this store, the customer service is POOR! I've been a regular customer who always use their donation center (the perk is customer gets 15% discount for EACH bag). I always donate two FULL bags every single time, but most of the time, the staff only give me one 15% ticket (while they suppose to give me 2 tickets instead). So, I had to ask and verify to them every single time, to receive what I suppose to get. In addition to that, they never keep track of how many tickets they give out to the customers anyway, so why so STINGY in giving what customer deserve? Keep in mind, I mostly donate wearable and almost-brand new clothes to the store every single time. Just a thought for H&M manager to review this policy and go through again with their staff. Also, please, giving a smile to the customer, saying "hi, how are you, did you find anything ok at the store" would not hurt either. Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2017 Stopped by H&M kids today to pick up some long sleeve undershirts for my toddler. It's a rather large footprint of an H&M shop as it was a former Border's Bookstore (I miss Border's). There are several sections to this H&M- they have a kids section, men's and women's clothing section. They have a decent selection of boys clothing. I scored a buy two get one free of long sleeve undershirts. I also bought two batman t-shirts for my son. They line was short and the customer service was friendly at the register. The entire shop is kind of chaotic and things aren't neat. I probably wouldn't shop here again because it's messy and the customer service is non-existent when you're shopping (it looks like they need to hire more people). Wowy-zowy this place was having some deep discount sales on Saturday! My partner and I dropped in while we were cruising the mall, and he ended up with two tank tops and a mesh shirt for UNDER $14! The cashier was also extremely helpful. He searched in the back for us when we were hoping to get a garment in a smaller size, plus he did a price look-up when we found something we liked in the Sale section without a sale tag. Turned out, it was indeed on sale! We were excited to find some of H&M's leftover Pride collection from June and get it at a fantastic price. =) Also it's nice that H&M carries men's clothes in an x-small size because I can find stuff there that actually fits me perfect! read more

Worst customer service ever. Every time I come to this store, the workers have been so rude. They never want to help and make me feel bad for asking questions. The girls at the register are especially rude. The girl who rung me up kept talking crap about me to her coworker at the next register, right in front of me. I don't know why they get so worked up over customers using discount codes and deals. They called me "cheap" in front of my face for taking advantage of a deal their store released.... Ok, so I am leaving H&M at 3 stars for kids clothes. This may be my new place for my daughter's stuff since Target has upped their prices and now both are about par for the course and is WAY cheaper with the Hello Kitty stuff my daughter loves. HOWEVER their women's sizing just gets more and more stupid. I have actually lost a bit of weight (and about an inch overall) and their sizing still doesn't make sense to me. I went in to give them another shot. Low and behold they now had size 16! Sweet! I could care less about the number, but since my typical size runs small here I thought I'd try their biggest size. That HAD to fit, I mean, I'd lost weight! But nope. In fact, their sizes seem to have gotten SMALLER! The largest sizes I could find barely buttoned around my stomach and was in NO WAY going to meet at the bust. Bottoms.... forget it! Here I was feeling like my slightly smaller frame would at least fit in a cute button down top... nope It also didn't help that the staff seem like they are too cool to help you. Whatever dudes and dudettes, you work and H&M..... what about that makes you better than me? Sorry H&M, you use fake models on your website and obviously in your American sizing too. This store is huge! I always forget that Oakridge mall has all the stores I usually go to at Valley Fair. I like how the stores are connected but separated by mens, womens, and children. I didn't have a lot of time, and needed to return something, so I got in the long line for the cashier. They only had 2 cashiers and 10+ people in line. Negative. They finally pulled another cashier when the line was halfway through. But, so many cute clothes that I wanted to try, but will have to wait til next time when I have more time to peruse and try on. read more

On 9/10 I bought 4 items ( pants) at H&M store in Westfield Oakridge mall. The guy rang the transaction but we wanted to add the fifth item( the belt). He said he will cancel the previous transaction ( cost 78.71$) and charged us 83.08$ for all 5 items. Two days later I saw there are 2 charges on my credit card 78.71$ & 83.08$. I called customer service and was told to go to the store. I went to the store and spoke to JB the manager. He said just wait for 2 days if it is still there come back on either Fri or Sat since he works to get the refund. On Friday. I called around 1:30 pm and spoke to a lady. She said he was not there and she can not tell me if he comes tomorrow due to privacy. I totally understand that but I live 20 min drive away so I need to know some how. I called Customer service again. The gentleman was really nice and helped me out. He put me on hold and talked to the store. He called back said either today or tomorrow I come back Michelle the manager will help me. After work I drove there and only 5 min before getting there I called the store to talk to Michelle. She said No she can not. She said only I can bring stuffs for refund. I tried to explain I don't want to return stuffs. I want to keep them. That is why I was charged for 83.08$. I just want a refund for 78.71$ since it is a duplicate. She said I have to appeal my bank for a refund. I asked if the store employees did the refund/ cancel the transaction correctly or not. If not then how can I ask the bank? She then said I have to wait for JB but she won't tell when he will be there or not. She even said I must have spoke to the guy around 1:30 pm because she just came later and didn't talk to me earlier. I was really disappointed in the customer service. She thought I can not tell the difference between female or male voice on the phone??? JB did offer to help me or gave me some solution while Michelle is also a manager but she didn't give me a solution. She kept saying she is the manager and that is how to do: I have to wait for JB or ask the bank for the refund. So again I just drove home and called customer service and the lady asked me to send an email and the picture of my CORRECT receipt. At the store JB & today Michelle kept asking for the INCORRECT one and I kept explaining the guy didn't give me the receipt of the canceled transaction. Fast forward. Nothing happened so I had to create a case at Wellsfargo bank. Twice - Once in Oct 5 and recently H&M emailed me to say they initiated the refund and it depends on the bank up to 10 days to give me the refund. I waited then forwarded the email to WF dispute center. Recently in Nov WF called me and said they did use that email to sent back to question H&M but H&M people kept saying that is invalid. So no refund. It has been back & forth like that since Sept. WF said they will dispute it with Visa & if nothing works after another 2 months then I will be responsible with the charge. I am very disappointed. I just wonder if at big business chain stores they have no record for a day. They should see the canceled transactions. Usually they do not give the cancellation receipts to the customers. That happened to me. I just know I won't ever shop at H&M anymore even I used to buy clothes for my teen daughter. read more

This H & M is so much better than the one at Santana Row. It's bigger and it doesn't just have women's clothing, plus it seems a lot more organized than the Great Mall location. There is a more extensive selection of women's clothing here and they also have men's and children's clothing too. Beyond that, H & M is just another chain, so what can be said for this location can be said for all the others. The clothes are pretty trendy and fashion forward but reasonably priced. Their sizes run on the small side and (at least for me) the shirts and sweaters are kind of tight around the arm area, haha. One thing I hate is that they don't offer gift receipts, so if you give something as a gift and the recipient waits too long to return/exchange, they might not get the full value of what was paid for the item. I was very disappointed in how I was treated at the Oakridge store today. I ordered an item online and did not receive what I ordered so I went into the store hoping someone there could help me but that was not the case. Javier the manager when I explained to him what happened and said it was not my fault, he told me it was not their fault either. He was stern and did not offer any suggestions on how to get my issue resolved. I am a loyalty member, all he had to do was look up my purchases to see what I ordered and what was delivered to me, it states the date. I was offering suggestions and all he could give me a straight answer on his how he good he is at, at not helping me get my return resolved. read more

POOR costumer service , unfriendly! I purchased some items online and had to return them. I didn't wanted to send the package through USPS since they charge 5.99$ for that. Ridiculous, right ? I waited until I was in line. The cashier opened the box and were looking for a piece of Paper which was not required then I prepared the box to return. Anyway - he asked me to look it up online which I did. I find the QR code and thought this is it. A cashier with long black hair (male) took care of my issue. He literally took every piece out of the box labeled and put it back to the rack behind him to sell them back. It took about 15min to get all this done. I had to pick up my child from daycare and I was running out of time. H&M if this is your costumer service I'm really sorry to say it's beyond awful. For an H&M this has to be the best one I've seen. The men selection was much more diverse and wider than the Milpitas one. It's much roomier so you don't get your toes stepped on by some wanna be trendy 22 year old Jersey Shore rip off. I went on a weekday and the people there were super helpful and chill. I'm sure on the weekends they get murdered there but still at least it's roomier so you could move around. It's kept up well, unlike the Milpitas or SF one, where clothes are flung everywhere, this was really orderly and well kept. I'm sure again this is because it was a weekday, but still, worth noting. I know people wanna talk trash about the clothing, but I rock expensive/designer stuff too, and I can tell you that some of my H&M stuff was better quality than the stuff you'd spend 10 times more for. And often they are ahead of some of the mainstream stylists collections. So, people can talk bad about it like they're such ballers, and that's cool, but I'll still rock a few $20 sweaters and some $30 chinos out while they use up their(or their parents) credit cards. read more

This is the most horrible store I have come across. To keep it short, I bought a shirt here which is deceptively low in quality. It wrinkled up like a paper 2 minutes into putting it on. When I went to complain about it in the store, they said I have already put it on and they cannot return it. I completely understand that policy, but the way they behaved was outrageous. They said I am the only one who have had problem with this shirt so far. What I understood of customer service is, if I have a problem I can express it, without worry about whether or not other customers confer to my viewpoint. I love going to H &M at Santana Row however this time I was out for a run really close to oakdrige mall with a friend 11/29 around 11am I decided to go in to get a new outfit for a special meeting. when I went to the fitting rooms I was treated rude by the guy with long hair (I couldn't see his name), he was giving me a judgmental look. Then when I was checking out I let a young white lady go in front of me become I was distracted with some socks. I was able to hear the nice conversation Cori the cashier had with her,, she asked her for a regards card and explained how she can get on the rewards program, however when it was my turn she give me a judgmental look and even when I try to start a conversation she was ignoring me. I don't know if it was because of my clothes or just because I'm a mestiza Hispanic-Italian and I don't look totally white. Nevertheless I will never go back there, I haven't been insulted by any costumer service personnel in any H&M before, this was so unprofessional and Honestly I wouldn't recommend you to go in there, all Humans Matter ! Review for the men's section.. First of all, I think this is a great location to put a H&M. I'm glad that oakridge is trying to be more trendy, and H&M is a perfect addition to it. However, the selection here is lacking when compared to the Great Mall store. Great Mall has a ton more merchandise and sizes, and Oakridge is nothing but plain t-shirts, polos, plaid shirts, and sweat pants shorts merchandised in multiple locations. I can't even count how many racks of $5.95 v-neck tees they had in the men's section. Service here is also slow. Half the time, the register on the men's side isn't open and the only other register can have a dozen people in line with only 1 or 2 cashiers ringing up people. Not very efficient. I give it three stars. Not the best quality clothing, but extremely cheap in price and good if you're looking for stuff to wear to work (easy iron dress shirts are my favorite). It's only been around for a couple months and I think that they still have alot of potential to improve, especially if they merchandise better and can get their hands on more inventory. read more

Karen is the worst Manager I have dealt with in any retail store. When I tried to return something she was trying to hurry up and ask questions while I was pulling my receipt from my bag. Upon pulling the receipt out of the bag she almost tried to reach and pull it from my hands. It wasn't the right receipt. She quickly asked me to step aside while I was looking for the right receipt with NO ONE in the line behind me. I asked her what was the hurry and she quickly retorted with 'do you want store credit SIR?' I asked to speak with a Manager and she said she is the one.
