Poor customer service and oh manager didn't bother to come speak with me. I am a member and I spend lots of money here but no longer would. I have purchased a final sale item and it would not fit one I got home. I have attempted to take it back to the store and they would not even at least exchanged the item. I called the customer service and also would not escalate the problem. Now I have an item that I won't use at home. This is unfortunate how even a member can poorly be treated. I will no longer shop with them. It's clearly all about money! I spend over 500 just this month I have the receipts and tags on all the items I am packing everything back to the store. read more

Very unprofessional management team. Especially Ashley. I asked for an item to be removed from a mannequin that was not in the window but advertised in store. She not only refused to sell the item, intentionally kept me waiting for over 30 minutes just for the customer service number but also for her district manager email "which intentionally made me wait another 20 minutes to provide". She admitted it was at the stores discretion to sale but that her Store Manager refused despite customer service representative communication. If an item is unavailable for purchase why is it at the front of the store advertised to entice and falsely lead customers inside? Will not be returning to this store in the future. read more

Sent here by the Oxon Hill location for a pair of pants they showed in stock for my daughter only to find the location closed. I thought maybe the store moved within the mall and the new location is also barricaded, no signage, no employees at surrounding locations informed... called the number listed in yelp +1 (855) 466-7467 to inquire if I missed it within the mall and they said they are "corporate" and not involved in the individual stores. Environment: Looks understaffed, place looked decent, there were signs that says "fitting rooms are open," just to see that it's actually closed, if it's not open then they need to take down those signs that says otherwise. Clothes: I love their sales section because I can find some decent clothes to buy at a cheap price. No shade, but I'm not into most of their designer shirts. Service: The cashier seemed nice, nothing stood out from me. No one greeted me when I was browsing, but I know they are probably understaffed so it's ok. Me: I mostly shop here just for sale clothes. It's funny how I applied here about a year ago, didn't get hired, and they are still hiring. However I only had experience in the food industry. read more

I was here early today before the store closed. I was in line and I hear shouting so when I turned to look I think a manager was yelling at one of the employees there about how "dirty" it was, from what I saw the (I think) manager was yelling at her about a spilled coffee that another customer spilt. Everyone in line was staring at them and I think it is completely disgusting and disrespectful that publicly humiliating another employee is acceptable like this. Do better H&M!! She could've pulled the employee inside or talked quietly. read more

It took 10 minutes to find a dress, and we waited in several lines for 30. At each, there was only one person ahead of us and yet the cashiers all seemed confused. Loud music, an alarm going off somewhere in the mall, etc., was enough to drive me insane. The dress was inexpensive but the tights were too much! I definitely will not come back here. read more

They moved into a new location where Saks' fifth avenue location. It's new and big but there are certain things that disappoints. 1) they have a door to get through from outside next to Nordstrom rack. Store closes at 8pm but when you arrive at 7:30pm, they've already locked the door. 2) lines up and downstairs with only 1 cashier working. Recovery is important but also getting the customers out of the store is important too. 3) not very organized at the cash registers. You never know where the line is because people are just scattered everywhere. There should be clear direction of where they expect their customers to line up out the door. read more

Located in the Springfield Town Center and right across from Forever 21, this 2-level European brand sells stylish yet affordable clothing for women, men, children and babies. Typically H&M sells home decor stuff, too, but unfortunately not at this location. This place is also handicapped accessible with it's own functioning elevator, aside from the escalators within the store, making it convenient to shop around both levels. The men's, children's, and baby sections are on the first level while women's are on the second. Since I was pregnant with my first, we've been shopping here for baby clothes, especially when they're on sale because they're very cute and stylish. We gets lots of compliments about our "well-dressed" kids. H&M fashion is the secret. Service had been pretty good the times I've gone to this store. Lines can be pretty long every once in a while (best to come in the mornings), especially when they only open one register (or 2) but only on the second level. Also, did you know you can bring a bag of your unwanted clothing & textiles here for 15% off your purchase? I believe you can bring up to 2 bags per person per day. We love shopping here and we will definitely be returning again and again! read more

Wait time can be a few minutes as there is almost always a line. Store can be messy because staff has trouble cleaning up after messy patrons. Prices are low making some items fabulously cheap but not very durable. read more

Very unfriendly staff. I walked by several employees and no one acknowledged me or said hello. Very rude. Racks were a mess, dressing rooms were disgusting with dust everywhere. Worse HM I have ever been to. I will stick to going to Tysons. Long lines too and no one seemed to care that the lines were long. read more

Although they have a good selection of the latest trends, the customer service makes this store painful to visit. The employees and management at this store do not care about servicing people or being profesional. Employees are rude and dont make you feel unwelcomed. For a store this large, there should NOT be only three employees. Since this store is in Springfield Town Center, you will not find as many deals as you would in a outlet store like the one located in Potomac Mills Mall. Here you'll find clearance items at a extreme discounts and then the rest of the merchandise is fairly expensive. That being said, ladies have better items in the clearance section compared to men. On my last visit, I had to go and find a employee to ring me up because there was no one at the register. When I say no one, I literally mean there were five people in line and the entire register was deserted. Let that sink in, how am I supposed to give you my money if you dont want it?? I should not have had to go searching for an employee. I hope H&M management takes a closer look at this store, because it doesnt live up to the standard. Came to this H&M last night to return an item. I was trying to check out at the downstairs check out counter and encountered the RUDEST employee I have ever met. Young guy wearing a black shirt, short hair/man bun situation was checking out the same girl for 20 MINUTES trying to hit on her while the line grew and grew. When some of us started to look at each other with impatience (didn't even say anything at this point) he told us we could go upstairs to check out and that "he gets paid by the hour so he's cool". Sir - we do not need to go upstairs to check out if you would stop trying to flirt with female customers and DO YOUR JOB!!! Beyond disgusted and will report this to corporate as well. Husband ordered a $40 shirt. Pays for taxes and shipping as well. They sent us a very crappy ladies' tee instead worth $13 (supposedly - - it's dollar store quality). We both had to call their 800 number. Here is their offer. They refunded 20$ (half the price of shirt), 4$ for shipping refunded, and sent us a 25% off voucher. They wanted to have us pack and ship back their erroneous shirt as well. Tell me how we placed an order for a big business, got the wrong thing sent to us, and end up losing a little over 20 dollars and getting no product. Even deducting the stupid shirt we are now stuck with bc we are not going to go through the trouble of finding a box packing it up and shipping it back, we are walking away having lost money and received no product. How do you just screw your customer like that? BBB ARE YOU LISTENING?! PS it should be noted that when my husband called before me, they only offered him a 20% coupon with free s&h to reorder and asked him to send back the erroneous shirt. NO REFUND FOR THE MONIES HE SPENT ON THE SHIRT NOT RECEIVED. imagine how short you will be if they make this error on a large order. Do not gamble on ordering from H&M. In the store and the cashier is named Caleb. You would think its his first day. Line backed up and the one cashier is on the phone calling another store. I finally asked if someone could ring me up. He said no he is getting off his register. Finally he had no choice but to open and when I gave him my return he asked me to take it out of the bag. On top of all this your clothes are horrible this season. I can't find a single thing to buy. I am now shopping at JCP and Nordstrom Rack. You can't have it both ways. The customer service provided by Ahmad was nonexistent. He welcomed the customer In front of me and told her have a great day when her transaction was complete. I walked up to the counter and I was not greeted at all. the tone was not appreciated when requesting my card. I was standing there wasn't sure if I had to sign anything. He started folding clothes and about 1 minute or so passed. I ask if the transaction was complete if I had to sign anything and he said nothing. I said thank you and he did not respond at all. Called yesterday to get some info on a coat I wanted to get for my bf's birthday. First time I called they told me they would put me on hold, then hung up. I called again, they transferred me to someone else, then hung up, the next time someone was finally able to semi help, but they kept asking what section would the coat be.... in the men's section.. with the coats... then they ask me to describe the coat and hang up on me. All I wanted to do was reserve a coat in a specific size. Came today, they had the coat I needed but not the size. I don't know what makes me more mad, the than fact that I was hung up on so many times maybe from lack of caring, or the fact that I couldn't reserve a coat. read more

The management at this store is horrible. I was buying a professional wardrobe for my sons first Corp. job....over $1000!!!! I have a critical illness so I helped him pick out items online and then sent him to the store to try them on and purchase with my credit card. He did that and then waited in line for over 30 mins. As they were understaffed!! When he finally got to the register they refused to let him use my card. He called me and politely asked for the manager. She came out and literally said NO it's company policy BEFORE he could even speak, then left. I told my son to ask her to come back out and speak with me so we could find an agreeable solution. She REFUSED to come out and speak with either of us. My son put the items on hold so someone could pick them up the next day. My husband went to pick everything up on his way to work THE NEXT MORNING!!!! They held NOTHING!!!! We will never shop there again. Went to a different store and spent $1500. H&Ms loss. read more

They go so slow at the register. I have been waiting in line for 10 minutes. I got a bad vibe from the cashier. I felt not welcomed at all.

Never ordering any from here again! Went in to return some items that didn't fit and was told that it was past my 30 days for return. I had placed my order on June 4th and didn't even receive my items till the 8th. Showed the cashier and so called manager the emails and even my online account with the H&M website. I was told by the manager Deana that I had to take the store credit and that she couldn't do anything about it. Horrible customer service from her. She didn't seem to care at all. The cashier understood and was polite and even looked at the emails but the manager didn't seem to want to help. read more

I'm waiting in line here forever. A lot of workers standing around while 1 cashier is doing all the work and there's a long line. This is so inconsiderate. Every other store where there becomes a long line at least opens 2 registers. This is absolutely absurd. Tysons and Dulles locations are far far more well managed. read more
