Horrible tailoring!!! Purchased my suit/tux from here in Springfield, VA and I should've shopped around first before going there yet, the reviews were good. You cannot believe the reviews. I went the next day to pick up my suit, tried it on and I had hi waters for pants, lopsided jacket and the owner lis dba lawrence ​blamed me as if I did my own measurements and tailoring. I asked for a refund even though I was only advised of the no refund policy after purchasing the suit. He breached the contract. I asked where in the store is the policy displayed in plain sight? He walked one to the register and pulled from under some clothes! I gave him a chance to fix the issues with suit and it still came out horrible. Don't waste your time or money at this store. We went to Lawrence Clothier to get my suits/tailoring for my friend's wedding and for tailoring for my girlfriend's dresses. Mani and his whole team went above and beyond to get us ready for this wedding on a tight timeline. Everyone was so skilled and helpful. Mani helped me match suits and ties to my girlfriend's outfits within the scope of the wedding's dress codes. The tailoring was fast and everything we bought was high quality but affordable. We were in need of two suits for my fiancé and son for our upcoming wedding I can't say enough about how wonderful Mani is. His store has so many options. We had some ideas in mind, but he masterfully helped us pick out the whole outfit for each of the guys - suits, shirts, ties, pocket handkerchiefs, even complimenting lapel pins. Tailoring on-site as well and a fairly quick turnaround., which is a huge relief since our wedding is only a few weeks away. I only wish I knew about their tailoring service before I paid a few hundred dollars for my gown alterations. I'm quite sure they do a far superior job here! Can't wait to see the finished products. After a terrible experience at Men's Warehouse we decided to check this place out. The customer service is UP THERE. (We haven't even actually consulted about a suit yet) we walked in and looked around, shortly after we were approached and asked if we needed help. The gentleman for us to talk to was on lunch (totally cool we don't need him hangry! LOL). We were told we could make an appointment, for even the same day. We didn't have the time today unfortunately, but we went back after going to a place in the mall and the gentleman gave my fiancé his card and told him to call or text him when he wants to come back on Saturday and he would be there! This place is a hidden gem. In late 2016, I needed a tux, for the biggest moment of my career. I thought I was going to have to go with my black suit due to the amount of hours I was working. I ultimately asked my wife to find me something, and figured I'd have to settle for an off the rack fit. She wandered into Lawrence Clothiers, and met Mani. She explained the situation and he offered to come to my place of work to fit me. I really appreciated it, but couldn't imagine putting someone through that. Mani insisted, and he became my go to guy for tuxes. About a year later, I wanted to redo my suit wardrobe. I came back to Mani, and suffice it to say, that I've never felt better in a suit. I honestly just cannot say enough positive things about shopping here and it is without a doubt the only place we'll be going to get my husband's suits. We've gone twice now, once just to look and promised we would be back when we had a bit more to spend, that was early last year and we came back last week, to find that Mani still remembered us! He helped my husband find two 2 suits that he looks absolutely stellar in, Mani even put together a deal to make the suit my husband fell in love with fit our budget - and he tailored them to perfection, it looks as though they were custom made for him. Based on their awesome and well deserved reviews I walked into Lawrence and was greeted kindly by the owner and was given an estimate on buying a suit for my now husband to wear on our wedding day. Fitted me twice and still gave me a suit (that I bought) that made it impossible to put on my own shoes or even sit down all the way on the day of my brother's wedding. I lost weight so it wasn't because I got bigger. Went back a day or two after the wedding to ask about what happened and get help. The worker/tailor asked me why he should help me in front of other customers and treated me like garbage. He eventually took my number on my receipt and told me the owner would call me. He also mentioned that the suit wasn't my size at all and that I would need new pants. No phone call ever came and so I called and left a message. Still no phone call or help. Really weird and messed up because the owner seemed really nice when I bought the suit and it seemed like a good place. Not sure why I would ever be asked why I should be helped when I got ripped off and had to be embarrassed at my brother's wedding with a really tight suit that didn't fit. I bought a blue tuxedo for my wedding from here. The price was super reasonable and comparable to renting a tux. My tux in particular was hard to find but Manny had at least 10 to choose from. Nothing but positive things to say about the store and Manny. Although the store does not look like a typical men's suit store, don't hold that against it. After spending the entire day suit shopping with no luck, I was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of the staff and the quality of the material. Manny was extremely helpful, polite, offered suggestions, and made the entire experience worth the visit. After narrowing down to a single suit, Manny asked if I wanted it and I hesitated. He got a card wrote down my name (I only told him my name once at the beginning) and he said think about it. When I came back a few days later on Memorial Day, he immediately greeted me by my name. I stated I wanted the suit and he reminded me of the alterations need on the pants and some minor alterations on the jacket. He asked if Wednesday would be alright...I clarified the Wednesday that is two days from now! In sum, I was able to get a full suit, shirt, vest, tie, bow tie, handkerchief, socks, and alterations at a fraction of the price as compared to the other stores in the Springfield Mall. Also, those stores don't include alterations. Manny was extremely professional and was not pushy. Manny literally spent at least 45 minutes with me trying different jackets and vest colors and he honestly offered what he thought looked good on me.
