I love the convenience of this store! I typically shop online, but it's nice to be able to quickly pop in for last minute clothing needs for my bby. They always have cute basics & seasonal clothes/styles and great deals, (I personally don't see the need in buying expensive infant clothing since they grow so quickly) as well as a vast clearance section, but can be picked off fairly quickly possibly due to location. The employees here are helpful & friendly. My only issue, which is *not the fault of the employees/store* is that they do not give store credit for gift returns without receipt. You can wait to exchange the items when you need new things, but bc babies grow at different rates, likely the value of the item will go down significantly given how often sales happen and that most items are seasonal. Again this is a company policy complaint, not this specific store itself. My solution: Exchange for items way older: 2 yrs+, bc at that age they'll likely fit into clothes longer. Or if you ask for clothes in your registry always ensure they include a receipt. Or can always re-gift or donate to mamas in need/mamas to be! This store is always clean, neat, & easy to navigate. There's never too much foot traffic when I go and there's a convenient parking lot, which is nice for expectant mothers & moms on the run. read more

We wanted to get these pants, and they only came in one color. We were told we could order them online using a store account or something and they'd get shipped to our place. They never came. I checked with Carter's Customer Service and they said they have no record of the purchase. Well, my bank has a record of the purchase, so Carter's quite literally took our money and forgot about us. Thanks, Carter's. If you still decide to shop here, whatever you do, don't do the online purchase option they try to sell you on; you won't get what you pay for and you won't get a refund. read more

Tiny humans need tiny human clothes... and I don't know about you... but I don't want to pay a lot of money for tiny human clothes being that my son grows what seems like 6 inches every night. I usually shop at Carter's online store so I'm glad I found an actual store to go to. It's conveniently located in a shopping center and parking is usually not an issue. While it is small, there are tons of reasonably priced items for little boys... and the outfits are super cute, creative, and great quality, which in my opinion is something that's lacking in baby boy clothing. Be sure to check out their sale rack in the back of the store, you can find TONS of great buys. I had a great customer service experience there. I left my coupon at home, so I let the cashier know. She happened to have an extra coupon on her, and I was able to get 40% off! This is my go-to spot for my babies clothes! I love it! read more

I like it. Plenty of stuff. Of course more expensive than target or walmart. You can find more variety all in one area. They are seasonal with it as well. The discounts and sales are incredible. You can get a buncha good deals and items for under $20 if you play your card right. Ive never had a problem with service or anything. Always been friendly and easy. This Fairfax location store is clean and you will always find gifts for a baby girl or boy. When they have a sale, the prices are low and you can get so much clothes. If you have little ones, niece or nephews, friends kids or someone you know having kids, this place is a nice place to get terrific gifts. Experienced a certain degree of prejudice and the rudest customer experience around NV area for the first time. Ended up buying a whole lot here since I had spent my time looking around and one of the staff members was good. However, the other lady was rude and lacked basic manners when dealing with customers. Instead of helping us find the right items and performing her job of organizing stuff, she was pointing at items that we had kept aside for the purpose of comparison. She was expecting from us to keep the item back in the tightly spaced racks right away. Another incident was when one of the loosely placed discount boards fell off when I was trying to reach an item. Rather than offering to help, she decided to be rude and asked me to pick that board up with a derogatory and insulting tone. The board could have hurt my feet and generally the customers are offered apologies and some help. I was going to pick it up anyways. I hope the owner takes action against such staff members. Horrible at picking up the phone. Came to this store to do an exchange that was supposed to be delivered to my house. It never showed up and after calling customer service they can't find the order. The girl in the store seemed new and flustered. Now I can't get my money back or the order. Going to try and get the store manger to look at the cameras when I was in the store that day or track down the girl that placed my exchange order and hopefully she remembers me! read more

We found a set that was missing the pants but we still wanted to but the jacket and were told it was a Carter policy not to sell set pieces separately. Which I know is NOT the truth because you end up putting missing pieces on sale anyway (have worked in retail). BEYOND DISAPPOINTING! This Carter's location is small (no Oshgosh attached), but the staff is always friendly and the sale rack doesn't disappoint. If I'm doing a big trip, I'll go to the larger Bailey's Crossroads location, but if I just need a few new shirts for my little one, this is a great quick trip. read more

I just want to give zero star if they have that options. I came here to exchange clothes because we already called the customer service and they said we can exchange after 90 days. The lady named Bei, her first impression is TRY to be nice my husband, after she saw me, she is a little change her attitude. She asked the receipt and gave her. She said "ALL THAT", she was so mean and rude her voice. I hated those cashier like that. After that, she checked all each clothes and she denied all. And said that all laundry and used. REALLY?? I have to laundry before I try to put clothes on my baby so..What does she think who she is? After that, she told my husband should be keep that clothes her register until we go out because that's policy. Really..she scared someone steal something or doing something with that bag. And when we make around for shopping some clothes, we hold two clothes and she try ask me some many times to put clothes on their shopping bag..she just makes me feel uncomfortable her attitude. Maybe because we come to exchange clothes, make her feel "CHEAP" about us. I have just left this store and must express the poorly managed customer service that became apparent literally the 3 seconds into walking in. I called ahead to make sure my package was ready for pick up, the person on the phone said yes if I got the email I should be fine, I barely finished my sentence, when she could have asked me my name, since I said I was on my way, so that it was pulled when I arrived. That's one thing. Second, when I walked in, a lady walked in after me, just as I opened my mouth to say I was here for a pickup, she was INCREDIBLY LOUD, and the lady about to help me LEFT ME TO GO GRAB THE OTHER LADY, Karen, per the loud lady's demand. I STOOD THERE BEWILDERED. I had my baby in an Uber because I was told it was fine, so naturally I thought this wouldn't take long. Not only did it take 5 minutes to help me though I WALKED IN FIRST, the lady named Karen gave me a passive aggressive attitude when I expressed how upset I was AND WHEN I SAID MT BABY WAS IN THE UBER. I'm outraged. She even said, "we're doing the best we can" - which is a defensive statement and not a solution. That is not customer service. Third, she or the other lady, never apologized or even acknowledged my frustration. I will be complaining to the higher ups as wel, or hope they see his, and agreee this could have been handled differently so that I walked away happy and understanding. And this was my first impression of the Carter's store as I ALWAYS SHOPPED ONLINE , I spend literally hundreds at this brand. read more
