Awful experience both times I was here because the manager Sebastian wanted to be difficult instead of helping and making an exception. I bought toddler clothes that smelled like strong chemicals so I washed them but the smell didn't come out. I brought them back a week later with tags and the receipt never worn and Sebastian would not make an exception to allow us to return the clothes. He is desensitized to the chemical smells because he works at the store. However I researched he'd what the smell is and it's formaldehyde. He could have so easily helped us and chose not too. Funny that the power went off as I was checking out. The staff was really calm and helpful. Take 2, went back next day to pay for my items, Kayleigh the cashier was rally helpful and friendly, despite of the long line and anxious customers. Prices were extremely cheap, can't beat the $7 PJs I love how they have a variety of cool holiday patterns. However, they should do a little better keeping up with the restrooms. read more

I went in to get jeans for my sick mother which at the time wasn't able to shop for herself. I had asked an employee who was there who turned out to be the manager. He was very rude and very demanding and didn't really care for my needs. Is this store short-staffed? I can't understand why it's so messy, disorganized, and dirty. The women's clearance rack back by the kids was stuffed to the gills with clothes. Every time something fell to the floor, someone would pick it up and put it on top of the rack. Obviously, they need to use a bigger rack. There was no rhyme or reason to the clearance clothes - all sizes were mashed together. The worst part was the fitting room. The fitting room attendant looked in the room before she gave it to me, but I assume she was just looking to see if there were any leftover clothes inside. She didn't seem to notice or care about how generally dirty it was. There were all of these little black things (dead bugs?) on the ground. It wouldn't kill someone to clean that up because it looked pretty gross (see pic). Baileys is just as bad if not worse. I'll stick to Tyson's or Dulles in the future. read more

I have had mixed experiences at this store. If you're picking up in-store, just have it shipped to your house instead. Waiting in the purchase line is faster than the Online Order line. I waited in that line and just watched as all the other customers in the in-store line get their purchases first. The previous time I purchased online, I got in the store purchase line and was told that I should have stood in the Online Order line. I don't get upset very easily but I'm getting my money back because the store doesn't know what they're doing and I can probably get the same thing from Walmart. For the same price or cheaper. I love the quality of Old Navy but the inconsistencies are really starting to annoy me. Great products, mixed in-store/online pick up. Also get confused when looking for products while in-store...too much and not enough room or employees (I think that's the problem). read more

I've visited this Old Navy location thrice in the three weeks I have lived in Alexandria, and each visit has been a positive one. Old Navy sometimes tends to be disorganized, but comparatively, this one is quite a bit more orderly, plus the clearance section is actually *gasp!* on hangers and not on the floor. This store is a hot mess. There are clothes heaped in wrong places, dress racks and clothing racks with the wrong clothes on it. There is no continuity of merchandise. I'm used to walking into old navy and being able to discern sections and find like items together. Not here. It's possible that they are understaffed due to COVID. I only saw 2 employees on the floor and they were chatting about non- work stuff quite loudly. I'll remember to go to a different Old Navy next time. read more

I pretty much went out of my way to come to this store for an exchange. I literally drove really fast here and 49 minutes away before closing at 7p. This store was the only one that had the dress. Rakev, the cashier was the sweetest young lady with exceptional customer service. She was so patient, kind and had a wonderful spirit. She deserves a raise. The one good thing I can say about this store is that the location is very convenient. I went on Thursday evening and there was quite a bit of foot traffic. The store itself was a MESS! There were three staff members in the front of the store swinging bags when i entered but no one offered any as I walked by. I browsed in each section of the ladies side and noted clutter in every aisle. There were employees moving racks of clothing. I was able to sift through a stack of Nationals shirts to find something red white and blue. I went toward the front to find the check out , and there was no line. As in no black stands with the bands that usually point you where to stand. I looked around and there was no one waiting so I went toward the female at an empty register. She looked at me and said that the line begins there as she pointed behind me. There was no one there. I looked back then to her again, then walked toward the middle aisle turned around and walked to another open register. Checkout was unusual as they often ask if you would like to open an old navy card, but I was just checked out and told to have a good night. Pleasant fellow and swift checkout. I love this old navy I always find great deals, their clothes are of good quality and this is one of the few places I can actually shop for the entire family. Their clothes are trendy and the music is awesome which makes for a great shopping experience. Prices are great and I can usually score on their clearance section! Once in a while they do an additional percentage off of their clearance too and I get killer deals especially when combined with the 10% military discount they offer. I opened up a line of credit which is worth it. I get additional coupons and savings throughout the year and their super cash is awesome too. I also love their ball machine it's only .25 cents and the kids look forward to going just because of that! We have about 100 of them at home They sometimes even have a table with coloring pages to keep the kids busy and my kids love that also. I would highly recommend this old navy it's neat and well organized the only negative thing I would add is that sometimes the price signs confuse me and I'll think something is on sale and I get to the register and it's not other than that, also if you have a coupon they will not combine it with military discount but not that big a deal great overall! read more

Loud. Messy. No ac. No thank you. Won't be back. The parking lot was hard to navigate. The store was filthy inside and out. There was trash all over the sidewalk and in the parking lot. Inside the store, looked like it hadn't been swept in months. There were HUGE dust bunnies and trash everywhere. Clothes were all over the floor. I couldn't even push a cart around because there were so many clothing items in the floor. It was also very hot inside. They should have had the AC running but the staff said they weren't allowed to turn it on because it was too expensive. It was more humid inside than it was outside! YUCK! I won't be back. read more

Really disappointed with this old navy. The store is such a mess that you find something you like and it says a certain price or discount on the sign, but you get to the register and they say that it was on the wrong rack, but that doesn't explain also why the entire inventory of the same item is all on the rack. Also the people working the registers are slow slow slow. Waiting in line forever just to tell them you dont want half of the things you selected because they were marked with the wrong price is super fucking irritating. read more

Ok, who doesn't love a good deal on fun fashions? Of course everyone does, but what are you willing to put up with during your shopping experience? This particular Old Navy is always a disaster, no matter what time or day of the week you go in. There are always clothes all over the floor, everything is left unfolded and thrown back, and the dressing room is always torn up with no help in sight. I think partly to blame is the clientele and the merchandise displays with all those folded stacks of stuff. But if that's how you display your merchandise wouldn't you make sure it stayed nice and orderly? They always seem to be understaffed and they don't seem like they even care if the place looks like a tornado has gone through! The other night when I was in there, there was a huge, heaping pile of clothes on one of the display tables in the ladies' department. Oh yes please, let me dig through that pile to find my size!! The Tyson's Corner store is always so nice and tidy. How could they be so different? Headquarters better pay closer attention to this place especially with the Springfield Town Center open now, we've got a lot more choices than default shopping at this disaster zone. read more

This is a typical old navy. Selection was good it was busy because it was tax free weekend. But was made me want to write this was the horrible experience when I was checking out. The line was long which was to be expected when I did get to the register all the cashiers were having their own conversations instead of engaging with the customers. You couldn't tell when they actually did speak to you which made you make them repeat themselves. My cashiers name tag said lead which means he was a lead cashier. Black Friday was a nightmare. Of course any place on Black Friday might have some difficulty, but this had to take the cake. I went to Macy's where I walked in and out that maintained good customer service, same case with Target, but here all the employees seemed to have a chip on their shoulder. I have worked in a retail store during Black Friday, and I maintained professionalism. You have to in order to maintain sanity. This place unfortunately did not hold the same demeanor which made it even more unpleasant. It was a pain in the ass alone standing in line for the hour and a half to check out. I didn't need the extra attitude at check out or when I asked where an item was. My friend that I was shopping with also had the same unfortunate experience herself. Even if you cannot control the madness of the rush of people or the organization of the store, you can maintain face and try to have a more refreshing attitude than the environment itself. read more

I went on Sunday with my daughter and the place was a disaster, but I thought--oh it's the weekend. Went back today to return an item and found the place even more of a mess. Don't they have a cleaning crew to even sweep the floors? The floors are filthy with dirt, tags, etc...and around the registers looks like a teenager's bedroom floor. Clothes and hangers everywhere. As I left today, there was one register open and there were 5 people in line behind me. From now on I'll just head over to Tyson's Corner Mall and shop there. BTW, staff here are a mixed bag--some are awesome--professional and efficient. Others need to learn some customer service and discretion. I keep hoping this store will get its act together, but after 10 years of shopping at this location, I'm done. The entire store is a disaster, and has been for a very long time. There are clothes strewn everywhere, stacks and stacks of shirts and pants in no particular order so it's impossible to easily find your size, the dressing room is rarely monitored and always has piles of clothes sitting on the desk and in the dressing rooms, and it's dirty. Also, almost every time I'm there, there is only one cashier working while other employees are off supposedly returning stock or helping customers. Today the sole cashier was busy helping someone on the phone and wouldn't check anyone out until she was done 5 minutes later. Meanwhile, two other store employees ignored the line and fussed around doing who knows what. It feels like the employees couldn't care less, and where is the manager??? When will management wake up and care about their store? I hate to leave a bad review but it's a completely frustrating and depressing experience to shop here. No more. read more
