If it's a beat up old truck, that leaves an oil stain on your driveway, it should show the pride they have in their work. Carpet was not stretched properly, and the seams are terrible! On the day of the installation, we had paid an extra $25 for an extra helper to move the furniture. He was not available. When he did come to deliver the carpet, he dropped it on the bedroom floor causing a light fixture to break in the basement. The installer spoke to his boss and they gave us back the extra $25 for a reimbursment of the moving of furniture fee after I spoke to him. He did offer to pay for the light fixture that was broken but we were fine with the $25 being taken off. We more just wanted them to know that the carpet delivered was not handled well! Four months later, we received a voicemail from the owner laced with legal action and some heavy handed collection threats if we did not pay a balance that we owed. I called her back immediately and she said that she had left me many emails and messages in the past few months with no response. I told her I had not received them. I told her that I thought I had paid the bill in full after the installation and the 3/4 I had paid before the installation. She insisted that I had avoided her calls and emails. I asked if she had sent a hard copy to our home and she did not. She told me she had my credit card on file and would use it to pay the final balance with my permission. Since we were on vacation, I had no access to my check book or records. I told her to charge it out and apologized to her. We returned home the next day and I was able to bring up our cancelled checks from February. I had paid the bill so I scanned and sent the copy by email to her. I tried to call her but she was gone for the day. I sent her an email asking for an apology and a refund of the balance that was charged to my credit card. She sent me an email saying it was her accountants fault and she didn't mean to hurt my feelings and she would send out a check the next day for the overpayment they had charged. We got the overpayment by mail with no apology or concession of her error that started this whole fiasco. This could have been handled so much better, but it wasn't and they have lost any future business with us. They had wonderful workmanship but because of the unprofessional nasty experience with her, we can't recommend them.

We also had a separate dishwasher issue that required months of follow-up before ultimately failing and needing faulty parts replaced. Communication throughout the process was slow, inconsistent, and often required repeated effort from us just to receive basic updates. Although repairs were eventually completed and a partial credit was issued, Nonn's declined to provide any further accommodation despite the prolonged disruption and clear service breakdowns. The response from leadership made it clear that customer experience was not a priority once problems occurred. We made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this privately. Based on how these issues were handled, we would not choose to work with Nonn's again and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before committing to a significant project.

They did not tell me they did this all they did was move a calendar we had put up with a magnet over the dent. it took getting a hold of the Waukesha Mgr. to try to get this situation fixed. After three weeks they brought a new refrigerator replacement but it had a bigger dent in it than the original. I finally made a deal with them to make a credit on my credit card and am just keeping the dented original refrigerator. I guess the worst part is that they damaged the fridge and tried to cover it up without telling me. My question is can you trust a company after they do something like this?

Surreal. This was my experience…read more We came into the showroom and were descended upon by a "designer." "Can I help you find anything?" Me: "I'm looking for a tile, 1" or 2" square with some color variation through it. It's for a shower we're remodeling." Designer: "Well, we have this marble that's nice. You could do a listello..." She shows us a sample board that's got all sorts of sculpted shapes and borders. Me: "I don't think we want stone. Just need tile. 1" or 2" square with some color variation through it." Designer: Gesturing to another board of fancy scmancy design elements "You could do something like this, with a listello..." Me: thinking "WTF is listello and why can't she just show us tile?" saying, "Really all we want is some kind of tile in a 1" or 2" square that might have some subtle color variation in it." Designer: (exasperated) "I don't know if I can help you if you can't tell me what you want." (I kid you not, she said this after I'd told her EXACTLY what I wanted multiple times.) Somehow we shook this thing off--I don't know how many times she said "listello" but to this day I twitch when I hear the word--and went into the next room and selected the floor tile by ourselves. In the end we went to another place where the staff were awesome and we literally found the tile we wanted within minutes of walking in the door. Bottom line: if you want to be verbally masturbated all over by a "designer" go to Nonn's. If you want tile, go anywhere else.

We love the way our hardwood floors look. They are worth the wait (booked 2-3 months out) Long version: We had water damage in our kitchen. We needed the damaged floor replaced and the rest of the first floor sanded and stained to match. No easy task since our floor was 17 years old. After they sanded, stained, and sealed the floor, we realized that the original builder (17 years ago) put a 2 foot by 10 foot strip of pink looking red oak in the middle of the white oak floorboards in the living room. This was imposible to see because of the tinted stain that was put on the floor to cover up the fact that the wood didn't match. Jon, our sales guy, came out on a Saturday to talk it over with us. They worked with us to squeeze us into their schedule despite being booked 3 months out. He even came and tore out the red oak himself since all of the other workers were tied up. They took out the red oak and put new white oak back in and now you can't tell at all. Honestly, I thought we were screwed. We did have to pay for them to come back to do it since it wasn't their screw up.

Not quite a year ago, we pulled out carpet and replaced flooring in four rooms. We had Floors For Less put down tile in one large room and hardwood floors in the other three fairly big ones. I can't tell you how pleased we are with the outcome. The first time I went into the Middleton flooring store, I was impressed with Dave's knowledge and no high-pressure sale's techniques, but especially with his relaxed demeanor. He allowed me to take as many samples home as I wanted. Other stores I'd been to demanded my right arm before releasing a sample with promises to have it returned yesterday! Several places acted as if I was taking the Hope diamond home. Dave was always patient with me, no matter how much I texted or called. He always got right back to me. Incredible, incredible service. They have so much product, a lot of diversity in material, so we easily found what we liked and wanted. The only snafu in the project was the installers. They didn't always show up at the time they stated, but they have such a large crew that they got the project done in half the time we thought it would take them. Like I said, this wasn't our first rodeo, so the job ended up being completed long before we expected. We work from home, so we got to see how they operated. That crew was such a neat bunch of people. So polite, fussy and meticulous with their work, cleaned up after themselves, hardworking and professional. We'd used those installers again in a heartbeat. I learned later from a neighbor that that installation company is in high demand. I can see why. We are so pleased with how the floors turned out. They're beautiful and high quality. The whole experience was so much smoother and enjoyable than other remodeling jobs we've had done before!
