I did those, turned on the irrigation system again and BAM, water leak, this time its substantial. I remember SLM as a subcontractor and remember how professional and quick they were to respond. They fit me into their already BUSY schedule and were here at 6:45 AM this morning, in the hour, they fixed four leaks, one major, three other small ones. He also left a gap by the walls that was wider than the baseboard, so now I have to put shoe molding down too. Left his kids here one day while he ran out somewhere, presumably to another jobsite. The drywall is where everything fell apart, those two were completely unprofessional and their work was subpar at best. They left their lunch trash and cigarette packs wherever they happened to be standing. One of them apparently needed to take a half hour bathroom break in my master bath instead of the guest bath, which was an absolutely delightful experience for my wife who was essentially stuck in the master bedroom watchin our dogs till they left. I ended up telling them to leave, I wont let them back in my house. If you do use them, buy your own supplies. I gave him $100 in cash to pickup grout, he came back having "lost the receipt" that we found laying in the floor after he left where they bought a bunch of crap and didn't reimburse anything. I seriously doubt I'll ever see a dime of the money I paid to have the drywall done even though the job was never completed by them.

I had called them to see what they'd charge to fix it and when they could do the work. I'd already checked with several plumbers and they were outrageously expensive. As a side note, as of Sept. 2019, plumbers in the State of Texas DO NOT have to have a license. Yes, that means technically anyone can represent themselves as a plumber and I really had no way of knowing which of the ones I called were just "doing" plumbing work (and were really handymen) or who were actual licensed plumbers with experience. I decided that the work that needed to be done was not a major undertaking (like many of the people who had left reviews online had experienced) that would require a master plumber and that a handyman could probably take care of it. I then started researching these "handyman" companies and people in the area. I called Maintenance Pro's and got to talk with Brian. He was so nice, helpful, understanding and patient. Plus, now that the work has been completed, I know he is GREAT and did a wonderful job. He messaged me pics of under the sink/plumbing/pipes and what needed to be fixed and replaced and we spoke before I authorized for the work to be done. He then took care of that and ran some diagnostics on the washing machine. He quickly figured out that the only thing wrong with the washing machine was that, over the years, it had just collected a lot of dust/lint inside the mechanics and just needed to be taken apart and cleaned out so he did that. His prices were reasonable and he was very prompt. Plus, their hours are 7:00am to 9:00 pm so it was very convenient and I didn't have to pay someone else after hours fees. Lastly, I was able to pay the bill online which was very helpful as well. I'll definitely call him again if I have something wrong at this condo. Thanks so much, Brian!
