One of the stylists even came right before the wedding to do any touch ups if needed because our appointments were between 8-noon and wedding wasn't till late afternoon. I had asked for a shaggy bob with curtain bangs, in a red/blonde shade. Unfortunately, I'd ended up with a badly uneven sorta-bob, micro bangs, unblended layers, a lot of weight at the bottom, and splotchy balayage. Katie worked a lot of magic and set me up with a near-replica of the inspo pic I'd been going for initially. She did the impossible and salvaged my too-short bangs, plus showed me how to style them until they grow back fully. I love the shaggy bob she gave me and the super-dimensional color is my favorite I've ever had! I can't recommend this salon and specifically Katie enough! I went to GreatClips because A) They were open Sunday, when I wanted to go, and B) It's a chain, I'm going in expecting a terrible job. When I got there the woman I had... I'm not sure she speaks allot of English? We did not talk. Not the whole time. She said yes I can cut that picture, she studied the photos I brought in, did minimal explaining and basically just told me when to put my chin down for her. And you know what? She paid such attention to what I asked her to do - a copy of Louise Brookes (1920s/30s star) iconic bob - that I can't compare her $16 cut to anything I've ever had before. She didn't give me a short bob, she gave me Louise's hair, every detail of it is perfect. I'll be going back there from now on, and I really cannot recommend highly enough that if you're tired of paying for $50+ haircuts and never getting exactly what you're asking for, please stop in and try them out. As a salon snob, I've really been shown something by my new stylist.
