Dr. Kourouyan is THE best in the business. I had PRK (photo-refractive keratectomy) with him in 2017 and just had an annual visit with him today. My vision is STILL better than 20/20. Prior to the procedure, my prescription contact lens was -2.5 and -2.25. Doesn't seem like a lot but I wasn't able to see my face in the mirror without contact lens, unless my face was 5-6 fingers away from the mirror. This procedure was a game changer for me! If you're wonder why PRK, I was not eligible for LASIK because of my eye shape. Personally, the only side effect I continue to have post-procedure is dry eyes in the morning. I use eye lubricant drops only in the morning and I feel great the rest of the day. I highly recommend him because he really knows what he's doing. From the initial intake visit to my follow up, he took extensive, almost excessive care to describe in detail the surgery, what to expect, and how to care for my eyes post operatively.
