I always get coupons for free HEB brand products at the register. Love it!
    Melissa S.

I live just 5 minutes away from this HEB. Yes, it may not be the best one in Houston and yes, it is Hispanic based... But they are located in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood. They are just catering to those who are more likely to shop there. Now, I have two choices, HEB or Sellers Bros to shop from. After exclusively shopping at Sellers, I made the permanent switch to this HEB. PROS- Their meat is very nicely packaged, it's just the meat and none of it's juices. (at Sellers the chicken was packaged in its slime!) The layout is easy to manevour They have Sushi-ya!! Best sushi ever. Do try the San Antonio roll. They're constantly adding bew HEB brand products (BACON JAM ANYONE??) Their selection of wines and beers is pretty decent! Prices overall are better and I LOVE the store coupons, combo locos, BOGOs and all those promotions. Also did you know at checkout they sometimes give you coupons for free stuff? I've gotten free milk, free salad, free ground beef, and even a free 6pk of their tea! Decently priced flowers in their flower section. Parking is huge Gas from their station is usually the cheapest around here. CONS- The produce isn't always the best. Sometimes fruit has bruises or gnats flying around. Some fruit is missing prices or is under the wrong price, creating confusion. Check out lines on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are a nightmare!!! BOTH my trucks have been broken into in that strip center. First in front of Ross where I got my stereo stolen. The other in front of this HEB where the crook stole my stereo, CDs, AND my baby's carseat. Who does that to a baby, seriously?? How was I supposed to take my baby home?? A$$holes. Some of the staff (esp the older ladies) are grumpy and know-it-alls. Always in need of baggers! They have like 9 lanes open and 4 baggers. So big its impossible to get in and out. (also because of all the deals you find a long the way... Lol)

    Spoiled Yogurt by one month!

This is the worse H-E-B ever. Their produce are rotten and looks like their dairy too. I bought this yogurt on 5/10/20 and almost eat it. They need to fire whomever the manager is. They have plenty of business to staff and clean this place up!!!

    Sushi bar !

Sushi for lunch ! Stopped by for a snack during Sunday lunch time and ended eating sushi .... At heb , yep I said sushi ! It was a battle of choices between the hot deli Mexican plate or rotisserie chicken. Them I saw a sushi bar. They have about several choice rolls. All reasonably priced. Su chef preps right there in the area. I choice a 15 piec variety roll for less than $15, which I thought was descent compared to restaurant pricing. You can grab soy sauce or roll spicy sauce. Plus I enjoyed hanging out in store to eat my roll in the open eating seating area inside the store. I love heb this just lunch experience just sold mW on hwb being top notch grocery experience !

My son's name is Joshua not Voshua!!!!

I ordered a Paw Patrol cake for pickup from your 3111 Woodridge location. The order was supposed to be ready on 2/21 @ 2PM for my son's 4th birthday party at school. When my husband arrived to pick up the cake, it was not there and the bakers had no order for it. My husband frantically called me and asked was I sure I sent him to the right location and asked how I placed the order. I told him the order was placed online and when he told the baker she stated that the online system had been down for weeks and they did not receive my order. The bakery manager offered a Batman cake.....I PROMISED MY SON PAW PATROL....EVERYTHING FROM PLATES TO NAPKINS WAS PAW PATROL. By this time it is around 2:45 PM. We only had an hour to have the party between 2:30 and 3:30pm. The bakery manager then offered cupcakes to my husband at no charge which I appreciated however my son's disappointment could not be changed. The bakery offered to fulfill the order the next day. They did make the cake the next day, but the order was incorrect. I was given a half chocolate half white cake and I requested ALL white. My son's name also appeared as "Voshua" instead of Joshua. I am highly dissatisfied with the service I received especially since I hold HEB with such high regard. If your online system is down, please make your customers aware on your website and have them to call and place orders. There is no reason why that should not have been done...especially if it had been down for weeks. I have attached the video of my son's reaction to not having a Paw Patrol cake as well as pictures of his name and inside of the cake.

I mean my pocket book is probably better for it because I want to buy the whole store but honestly I've been missing out. The place is cute and welcoming from the corner sign on the building to the moment you step in- bright, inviting, great displays so you know where to go. You can't get lost in here with the signage, but you can't definitely get lost in the aisles with all the great, unique choices. The ready food display has so many Mediterranean treats, some I've had before some I've never heard of and everything I tried was amazing. We got the cabbage rolls and Armenian veggie dolmas. Great flavor, both specific items I haven't had before. Nice citrus, spiced flavor to these. I'd say they're have to try items. Not only found jarred tomato paste, which I've been on the hunt for but they had choices in this category and that's another first for me. Will have to go back and try the others. Also got the cured Serrano ham -amazing. And I thought the prices were going to be insane having a spot right in the middle of the city and nope- pleasantly surprised for my goodies, great prices even less than some of the other stores I frequent in the suburbs. I'll be back again and again and again until I try the whole store lol. Definitely give them a try, you won't regret it

Nevertheless, it had most of what we were looking for, basically just drinks and snacks for our 2-day stay in Houston. My father wanted bakery items for breakfast and settled for the usual Hostess and Hostess-like choices you'd find at, again, a convenience store. However, the gentleman behind the register was pleasant and helpful. A customer came in and while checking out casually mentioned he had a close friend die the day before in a car crash. The cashier was very sympathetic and listened to the guy without interrupting or trying to hurry him along. In all, the store has the basics. I know it seems backwards, but you're way less likely to get approached by someone asking you to buy them something. For the record, the store doesn't feel unsafe--homeless unsafe--but sometimes, you just want to grab your groceries in peace. Now, something that never fails to annoy me: one of the entrance doors is always locked. Every time. So you're forced to walk around to the main entrance. Minor, but annoying. Thankfully, the elevators from the garage always work, so silver lining there if you park downstairs. Today I was reminded of another classic Randall's feature: the smell. I stopped in on my bike to grab some veggies and, like clockwork, was hit with that signature aroma, somewhere between a porta-potty and a city park at noon in July. I think it was coming from outside this time... but I've definitely caught a whiff inside before too. Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it so conveniently located that I keep coming back anyway? Also yes. To be fair, the prepared food section and the bread game are on point. If carbs are a love language, this place is fluent. Bonus points: they've added EV charging for our green-driving friends. But I think they shrank some of the parking spots. I watched a jacked-up truck on stilts struggle to park in a handicap space. Waiting for the driver to hop out onto the hood of the next car over.

I find the service is excellent, the store is clean, the prices are average, but the inventory is always well stocked. In terms of reliability, the latter is crucial. Parking here can be a challenge. The lanes are narrow and there are only so many entrances to the lot. While folks are constantly battling for parking, the store itself is rarely ever that busy. The cart staff is good about keeping the lot relatively free of carts and are good about keeping the front area organized. I have had good experiences with their bakery and deli, especially for catering. I'm all about rocking the buttered tortillas when they're available. I love their produce selection and have been a big fan of their fresh peanut butter machines. While the cashier's are usually quick, the more popular way to go is through self-check out. The service is the most underrated aspect in my opinion. They've been supremely helpful in bringing groceries out to my vehicle for me (especially when there's a lot), they're on top of the curbside pickup, and they're excellent about helping folks find what they need. The selection is incredible, the store feels very upscale, and the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. That said, Houston desperately needs another two or three Central Markets because this one is almost always a madhouse. The parking lot is crowded, the store is crowded, and the sandwich line at lunch can be ridiculous. The layout is also basically a maze designed to make you walk past every department before you find what you're looking for. Somehow, though, wandering through the maze is part of the fun. I do wish the Central Market app worked more like the regular H-E-B app. You can search for an item and see what section it's in, but it doesn't give you a useful store map showing where that section actually is. In a store this complicated, that would be incredibly helpful. It's definitely expensive, and if you fall in love with some small niche product, I wouldn't necessarily count on it being there forever. But overall, I really enjoy shopping here.
