I love coming to Aldi! This is a must store in the community because of its convenience and cheap but good quality! They resupply on Wednesday so it's a good day to come shopping and getting your groceries! Highly recommended! Come and enjoy Cheers

I line shopping at Aldi. I can find a few vegan options. I just have to remember to bring my bags and quarter for them basket. I found meat alternatives, pasta, salsa, vegan ice cream and vegan whip cream. The staff that assisted me were courteous.

Split Lamb Breastplate that I bought today, was RANCID. . Tried to call but only has corporate number online and on Yelp.

Fresh meat should NEVER smell like this. Very disappointing. It's not the first time I've bought Lamb from here, but depending on how they handle this, it will be the last.

I was in the MIDDLE of the line here.

Just tried Aldi for the first time today. I really, really wanted to like this place but they just make it so hard! I finally figured it that it cost a quarter to have a shopping cart. I didn't have a quarter so I had to go in to make change. No big deal. The store was completely disorganized and it's impossible to find stuff because nothing is by department. You will find soda for instance in about 20 different places in the store. Again annoying but no big deal. My biggest problem came when it was time to check out. Only 1 checker and the line literally ran almost the entire width of the store. He was asked to call others but said no. After waiting about 25 minutes in line if was finally my turn... until some man ran up and plopped his stuff down and cut in front of all of us. The entire line started complaining. I thought the checker would kindly send him to the end of the line but NO he said something like "it's ok" and let him cut! I was shocked at the lack of respect the cashier had for those of us that waited our turn. Then he threw the items into the cart and didn't even bag my stuff. Thrown in again with lack of respect. Moral of the story... don't wait in line, just cut at the cashiers will disrespect others for ya.

Yes you have to pay a quarter for a cart and yes the grocery bags are 6¢, but I think it worth the over all savings.

Sure the carts are 25¢ and the grocery bags are 6¢ but the bags are reusable so you will get your 6¢ worth. You can always bring your own bags as well. It's small and not a huge selection. The few things I did get we're very reasonably priced, spices for 33¢ and zip lock bags for $1.44. Pretty good, I'd say. It may not be the one stop kind of shop but great for a few things to get a great meal going. I loved my first visit and I will be back :)

    Grand Opening - April 11th

Aldi follows the lead of places like Sams and Ikea - fair items, better prices, and self-service...nothing fancy. Grand opening (April 11) meant the parking lot and store was bustling with patrons. Once you park, bring in (1) your debit card, (2) a quarter deposit for a shopping cart, and (3) your reusable shopping bags. But if you don't like maneuvering a cart thru narrow-ish aisles, 86 it. Inside you'll find a SEGMENTED SELECTION of generic/unfamiliar brands of popular food items...cereals, cookies, juices, canned goods, fresh produce, dairy, etc. You may also spot a few familiar brands with competitive prices too. Not sure how well their house brands rate yet. Will update... So many people were buckled around the produce section I didn't even get to checkout the 99¢ strawberries. I did grab the $1.89 milk tho. Also a mention there were a few random sellers like lawn chairs and tomato plants. There was plenty of staffers checking out and bagging our goods, specifically noting that the bags are typically 6¢ each (and/or reusable) and you bag your own purchases. Not sure if this is always the case, but at the opening they did NOT take credit cards...cash and debit only (or food stamps type). This is a good place for a quick stock-up.

I was immediately intrigued, especially since they're located in Pearland. It took a few months after HRW before I was finally able to try them out. Take Out: I've done take out a few times. The first time, I ordered at the restaurant. It took about 20-30 minutes for the food to be prepared. Miranda was so nice and offered me water while I waited. She was very friendly and personable. The next two times, I ordered online. My order was ready when I arrived both times, however the second time I arrived, service was extremely slow. I was in a hurry and didn't feel well so I left a little annoyed. Food: Cucumber Shooters - Really tasty! I enjoyed the walnuts and cream cheese. Deviled Eggs - The flavor changes monthly. The first time I had it, the flavor was olive and I didn't care for it. Nutella Board - I ordered a catering size for a party and it was a hit with the party goers. Smoked Salmon - I loved it! It came with an everything bagel, cream cheese, and an assortment of veggies. I had enough food for three days. Dine In: We were the only patrons in the restaurant. It's not a large place, but it was a little awkward because our server could hear our entire conversation. There was a music playlist going, but the volume was low. Our server Cassundra was very nice. She made great suggestions on food and wine and assured us that the amount of food we ordered would be plenty. Wine: We ordered a bottle of Pratello Catulliano. This was our first time trying Lugana wine. You could taste the lime and apple, and it was on the drier side. Cassundra told us that they did a wine and Girl Scout cookie pairing and the Pratello Catulliano paired nicely with the Shortbread cookie. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying a bottle to go. We also had a glass of the house white wine which we enjoyed. Food: Butter Board - This was extremely tasty! It's whipped butter with hot honey, garlic cloves, rosemary, and sea salt. The contrast of sweet, salty, and savory was excellent and I loved the flavor of the rosemary! It came with focaccia bread. Deviled Eggs - The flavor this month is dill pickle. They were much better than the olive ones I had a few months prior and I would definitely order this flavor again! The Pearland - This charcuterie board is one of their most popular. There was a nice assortment of meat, cheese, crackers, and fruit. I actually liked the beet crackers with the salami and sharp cheddar. TBTBTCBM never seems to be busy when I visit. It is hidden in the same shopping strip as the discount movie theater. Part of me likes that it's sort of a secret, but I want this business to do well. It's nice to have a wine bar in town and not have to drive to Friendswood, Houston, or Missouri City.

They were blown away! The selection is good, and even when we got the veggie board, there weren't any bites that got tossed in the trash either from being damaged or extra. One comment, I was picking up a board and trident appreciate a 20% tip automatically being added. Tips are discretionary. While I was able to remove it, several days later I'm still a bit turned off.

There were only two cars in front of me in line to order, to even get my order to the staff took 10 minutes. I ordered the Original High Protein Chocolate 20 ounce- simple order, no modifications. It took another 10 minutes to get to the staff where I watched one staff member make toast, two other smoothies before greeting me and asking me to double check my order. When she asked me if I ordered a banana strawberry toast I knew they screwed up. I reminded her of my order and then she created a new order I paid (she did apologize and took $2 off) and then asked me to drive my car in front of the store and she would bring it out. This whole drive thru experience took 35 minutes. For a smoothie king to take that long seems unacceptable, I learned my lesson and will not be going back to this smoothie king for a long time. I was 30 minutes late to work but that was my own fault for assuming smoothie king would be faster. The employees rarely greet customers when you walk in, and there's no acknowledgment or "thank you" when picking up an order. What makes this more frustrating is that I come here regularly--just about every other day--so it's not a one-time experience. You would expect at least basic courtesy, especially for repeat customers. If there were another location conveniently on my way to work, I would absolutely choose it over this one. Customer service really matters, and unfortunately, this location is lacking.
