I have ordered 3 cakes from this location and each time the cakes have been wrong. 1 baby shower cake where I provided a picture was wrong. 1 graduation cake the school colors were not correct, and we even confirmed the order days before. Last cake was a birthday cake. All prior orders have always been on point. Idk what's been going on lately just so disappointing since their cakes are always so good. read more

This is my go-to grocery store as it's most convenient to my day-to-day life. The staff is friendly, products are great. I have yet to try an HEB product I didn't like and I love that they have tons of Texas products and treats. I unfortunately am giving them 2 stars bc they have been renovating for what feels like forever and every time I'm there things are rearranged and I have to navigate the maze they've haphazardly created to maneuver my way around. Puzzles and games are good for the brain and I usually take it in stride but it took me forever to find the frozen green beans this morning! Boo, no fun. I also often see things that could be safety hazards. Hanging wires and such. Lots of uneven surfaces. Frozen food sections in non refrigerated areas. Still frozen from the portable stands they're on, but awkwardly sitting next to a cash register or the store flower nursery, etc. On the bright side, this is my neighborhood store, and I'ma stand beside it. I do like that they didn't close down to renovate, allowing me to maintain my usual routine and more importantly ensuring their workers weren't displaced or inconvenienced. Ever since this store opened I've been a customer. The friendly beer lady there started having regular tasting meets, and they were always fun and a great way to meet people and enjoy unusual beers. I always went home with a couple bombers and something new to try. Even after Covid I still enjoyed going there, the high point being the ever changing beer selection and the fun to finding something new. Last evening I saw they deleted about one third of the beer offerings, and it was the section that always had the good stuff. I'm unfortunately buying my beer from Walmart now, and when I find a source for the other few items I buy there I won't have to brave the third world parking lot anymore. read more

C19 measures: They have wipes for your cart and hand sanitizer available for when you enter and leave. You have to wear a mask to shop. One thing I didn't really enjoy was I went to get a little bit of deli meat for sandwiches and one of the girls behind the counter had an attitude. I wanted to give my order to someone more personable because she begrudgingly took my order. Oh well, we all have bad days. We came here because my mom loves their bulk chicken soup mix that she uses to make a lot of different soups. I helped her get a whole jar of the stuff so she was happy. We will probably come back before my parents leave to get some more. The fruits here are so fresh, they have great produce on general. They have a huge vitamin and beauty supply, home supplies area. This H-E-B's Floral Department is absolutely terrible. This grocery store is my go to for pretty much everything. I don't have any issues with it for the most part. I've been going this particular store for over four years since I moved to the area. However, the floral department. The associates who work here are unhelpful. If you ask for help, they roll their eyes and seem putout to help. There job is to help with your floral needs, not make you feel so uncomfortable that you'd rather not be there. Especially a certain elderly employee named Gloria! Stay away from her! We have had multiple instances of when the milk (and some other products) had a poorly-placed expiration date. H-E-B has had a wide variety of food choices, but none of H-E-B's signature products are any good at all, especially the potted meat! I'm a huge fan of HEB, but this location is one of my favorites! The staff is generally very friendly and helpful. They usually have samples, most recently they had queso, guac, and chips. There's always someone at the cooking station also giving samples with the ingredients close by for you to pick up and try at home. They have a good selection of fresh produce, which is a must-have for grocery trips. This store is well-stocked and is my go-to grocery spot! read more

I was so disappointed with management at this HEB. As a loyal customer who spend hundreds of dollars on groceries weekly. Today, I went as a their neighborly teacher to see if they would donate one class set of paper bags for my class. Management said times are tough and because of budget they will not be able to donate paper bags to a class of kindergarteners. I highly doubt a company like HEB is hurting that bad for money. We all still have to eat. I will no longer be getting my groceries at that HEB, but if I ever absolutely have no choice, I will not be using my recycle bags like I have for years. I will not be helping their budget knowing they would not be willing to help a fellow teacher. I will ask them to bag one or two items per paper bag. Kroger is the real MVP and donated the bags to their neighborhood teacher's kindergarten class! read more

Had a bad experience with a personal shopper named Leo who was rude to a lady in front of me so I asked him to move out of the way. That's when he told me to mind my business. I hate to give this location a lower rating than my initial review, but this is based on the curbside service. The curbside service is so convenient, especially for someone like me who hates to grocery shop! They allow you to use the service four times without any added fees ($4.95 plus 3% fee for the shopper). The first two times that I ordered were great! I have no complaints! They also gave me a couple of cookies with my order which was awesome. I allowed substitutions for items that were not available and there really weren't any problems. The first time they had to sub, I asked them to call me and they didn't before I got there because they were busy, but he went over it with me before I signed it. The last two times that I have used curbside have not been as great. For one, I didn't get any cookies lol. No big deal, but when you get accustomed to free cookies, you expect them each time you come. The issue is that there were errors with my order. On this last order that I placed it was things like putting in two tomatoes instead of one, giving me a 12 oz. pack of pico instead of a 4 oz. pack, and giving me the wrong salmon meal (I ordered salmon with asparagus, and they gave me seasfood stuffed salmon with asparagus which I do not like). Of course I didn't realize the mistakes until I got home and unloaded everything. I do not have the energy to go all the way back to get it straightened out (and I shouldn't have to frankly). It wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't have to pay for the extra tomatoes, but the guy told me that the card is not charged until you sign the iphone when they load up the car, so I'm paying extra for items and don't realize it until I'm already home. I asked him about tipping. The FAQ page on the HEB website states that they discourage tipping because they want the shopper to save their money for the next purchase, but it turns out that they are allowed to accept tips and all of the shoppers tip share. So I felt bad for not tipping, but after discovering the mistakes, I didn't feel as bad anymore. I always believe in tipping, but they really need to work on accuracy, otherwise what's the point in using the service? I was also disappointed in the amount of items that were out of stock. They had to remove 5 items from my order (granted it was later in the evening), but it makes me wonder if my shopper just overlooked things and didn't see them. There's usually not that many items that are excluded from the order. They're going to be rolling out grocery delivery soon (I believe the fee is $7.95), but I'm not sure if it will be worth it if they are going to have the same issues with accuracy as curbside. read more

I started my regular shopping elsewhere because of how they handled the quarantine, raising some prices and shutting down sales. I do shop here once or twice a month still & use the pharmacy and the employees are always really friendly. During their busy times they handle it well and the wait times are short. There's a couple people giving it one star reviews because a customer wasn't wearing a mask and that's ridiculous. I have been shopping at this HEB for a few months now. I am able to find almost everything I am looking for, they don't carry the frozen waffles I like, so I have to go to a competitor. The store always looks nice and neat. Always clean and the aisles are free of trash and debris. I have noticed they have a huge wine and beer selection, but that's just not my thing. The absolute best thing in the store if the fresh ground peanut butter station! You can make your own peanut butter!! It's natural, no additives, no chemicals, just peanuts! They also offer almond butter, and honey roasted peanuts. It's too cool and very tasty! read more

Usually when I cannot find what I need at my regular HEB, I will come here because I know with it being so new that it would have everything that I want. The outline of this HEB is different from the others I've visited, but I'm still getting used to it. I do like they have a section just for bread and cheese. The aroma from the fresh bread being baked smells so delicious. This HEB is so clean and free of clutter from the shelves, but one thing I cannot understand is why are the aisle so cramped. Why can't they open it up a bit more and its not even with this HEB, but most grocery stores. Anywho, I do love the quality and quantity of the products at this HEB and the fact that they are all so affordable. The employees are so nice and helpful. read more

This HEB has some old familiar favorites that my HEB stopped carrying. Their bakery is really nice as is their floral department. It is so big (almost too big for my liking) that I will likely make this my ' once a month HEB..it will depend on the level of customer service, I guess. Speaking of...The cashier (Jacob G.) was very friendly and personable as was the sacker...which btw I wish I would've gotten his name as he bagged my groceries correctly (not over stuffing or mixing food with toiletries). Im almost embarrassed to say how much I'm obsessed with this place. I moved here from Michigan and there's NOTHING like this back home. The amazing deals,exceptional customer service and top quality produce, it's all too much! There's a woman named Laura that does the cooking tutorials in the back next to the chip aisle. She's so sweet and has taught me a lot. I just recently lost my aunt that I called my mother and I'm just now learning to cook. So i spend a lot of time at HEB learning from the chefs. Was in Pearland for the morning having breakfast so I decided to go 1/4 mike down the road to grocery shop before coming home! The layout of every H-E-B is a little different at every location. The layout of this location reminds me of the one I patron in my hometown in Corpus Christi. As I walked in, there was a sea of fresh produce on the right and various floral arrangements to my left. Straight ahead you was the bakery, and there were plenty of sweet treats to choose from. Continue toward the back you come across the seafood/meat market and deli! This store has a large wine/alcohol section, which is standard at most locations. Coupons and deals are located throughout the store! Don't forget to download the H-E-B app to check for additional deals, before checking out! The store was very clean and organized. They were restocking on some of the aisles and it wasn't interfering with the flow of cart traffic. read more

Super crowded - doesn't help that the staff brings out pallets of groceries during rush hours. Difficult to walk around in store with cart due to all the extra stuff in aisles and all the people. Walking in the store def had a Walmart meets World Market vibe - but not in a good way though... Price wise - fruit and veggies are more expensive here than at Kroger and farmers market, and price ways it is about what you pay at Sprouts... shelved foods were a bit more than Kroger, with only H-E-B brand stuff at a normal price at times. Bathroom/kitchen commodity items are more competitively priced but not by much. Coupons everywhere are nice but overall I feel I save more shopping elsewhere. Quality - fruit/veggies is average. Did not get any meat from the store this visit (we buy in bulk from meat markets and sams). Lots of give away stands that help block aisles and draw in more of a crowd - but they gave away wine samples. I was offered wine 4 times while shopping - which I guess is a perk if you drink? Haha However, I don't drink so I saw it as a nuisance, adding to crowds, and another sales person I have to say no to repetitively while trying to get my groceries. I hate this HEB. Period. I've been shopping here since it opened and it has gone downhill ever since then. I have been a faithful, satisfied HEB customer for decades, in various Texas cities. I used to be impressed with their customer service, good value, HEB products, and how they tailored their stores to the neighborhood. This store is SO not H‑E‑B!!! Nobody that works there is helpful. The deli never has enough staff. And they have been working on the store and parking lot Forever!!! It sucks. Now there are no signs on the aisles! The last two times, I have been charged for items that I didn't buy--you gotta watch the checkers bc they do not know their produce. And to top it off, I got panhandled in the parking lot. Which is already dangerous enough bc it's wall to wall people and cars and there is no sidewalk. I will go to the Clear Lake store, 30 minute away, to shop. HEB May lose me, after 40 years. 7:31pm wS rudely spoken to by Brintney after I was trying to return brown bag of the Ceasar bag kit. She proceeded to give me the price of two when I tried to explain she walked off. The young man at the register would be over at the end of his shift so I tell him to call her back I was exchanging not returning. Very rudely Brintney approached the register took me over to register 6 where she was still being rude yelling in front of customers, when I explained because I have integrity and know the young man would be responsible for the missing funds I'm trying to allow u to fix it her eyes got big she apologized and walked off. Customer service manager Christian took care over the transaction and still seemed confused... I come here too much to be treated like I did something wrong . If you can't take the position when its busy... customer service is all about customer service and they both could use some training. Selling rotten lettuce kits has me very displeased had to leave family dinner to spend too much time to go from register to register after waiting in line just to exchange an item. read more

Just moved here recently, and I find this location wonderful. The selection is perfect, it always looks clean, and each time I come in I find a very helpful staff. My very first visit it rained like crazy, and not thinking, I forgot my umbrella. A staff member saw me preparing to make my way out in the rain with my cart and asked if I wanted him to walk with me as he had an umbrella. Again, this place is wonderful. He not only walked me to my car, but waited while I put my groceries up, and took my cart back for me after he made sure I made it inside my car. Great new location with lots of parking. Everything is setup very nice and seems to be running smooth. The car was is always packed but I think it's just because everything is still new. It's bigger than other locations and it has a lot of sample stations. Excited to see what will be next door in the shopping center but for now the new heb is getting all the buzz. read more

So there were about 10 people today walking around your store without masks. It's a city ordinance in Pearland and I honestly did not feel safe. These people were not social distancing and had blatant disregard for your employees and customers. And when I asked 2 different employees, they said they were told to not say anything to mask less customers. Very disappointed H-E-B.
