Front desk staff informed me of the additional services offered that my insurance did not cover just in case I was interested and didn't have any unexpected billing surprises. Dr. Jackson and staff were professional, helpful, and answered all my "aging eyesight" questions. Up-to-date equipment and clean comfortable exam rooms. A trial pair contacts were in stock. Sango saved the day and my life was not disrupted or inconvenienced with wearing glasses. I highly recommend for all optical needs.

I wanted to share my disappointment with our recent experience at your practice…read more Earlier this week, I received a call letting me know that my son's contacts were ready for pickup. During that call, I learned that he would need an appointment so the contacts could be fitted and checked before we could take them home. I explained that I would wait until our glasses were ready so that we could hopefully take care of everything in one visit. Unfortunately, I never received a phone call letting me know that my glasses and my son's glasses were ready. When I contacted the office, I was told that a text had been sent on August 10. I checked my phone, and I did not receive a text from your office on August 10 notifying me that the glasses were ready. Since I am coming in today to pick up both pairs of glasses, I asked if my son could also have his contact fitting completed today so that we could take care of everything in one trip. I was told there were no appointments available and that the next appointment was Monday at 8:00 a.m. My son is in school at that time, and I am not willing to pull him out of school for a contact lens fitting. I then asked for the latest appointment available and was told that the latest your office schedules these appointments is 3:00 p.m. This means I will still have to leave work approximately two hours early and pull my son out of school early simply to have his contacts checked. What makes this especially frustrating is that my son already wears contacts and is comfortable putting them in and taking them out. At his previous appointment, checking the contacts and confirming the fit took only a few minutes. I understand that your office has procedures and scheduling requirements, but requiring a separate visit during school and work hours for such a brief fitting is extremely inconvenient for working parents and school-aged children. I want to emphasize that everyone we have interacted with has been very nice, and we were initially very pleased with your practice. That is why this is so disappointing. Had I known beforehand that contact fittings could only be scheduled during such limited hours, requiring me to leave work and my son to leave school early, we likely would have chosen a different practice. Unfortunately, because of the communication issue and the lack of appointment flexibility, my family and I will not be returning to your practice after this. I hope you will consider this feedback, particularly when scheduling appointments for school-aged children and working families. Even offering one later appointment time during the week would make a significant difference.

While some professionals will try to upsell you new frames with your new prescription, these folks agreed to use my current sunglasses frames and upgrade the lenses. I am getting new frames and lenses for my day-to-day eyewear. And keeping the old as a spare. Also, I am used to other less than professional organizations trying to sell you a higher priced frame to get bang for their buck. Not Northfield. I very clearly stated I was not interested in fancy frames and they respected that. They showed me modest cost frames and I was able to choose what I wanted very fast . They fitted me appropriately and now I wait two weeks to get my new glasses. I can't say enough about the positive overall experience that I received here. I will be back annually for all my eyecare needs here.

Dr. Jackson confirmed the infected eyelid, prescribed antibiotics and drops, and explained how to care for the problem. Upon exiting, I spoke with Holly Clark, who filed my insurance claim. Having been a patient of this office, as well as with Dr. Bart Lynn's office, Sango Eye Care, I know our family is in great hands with these professionals. Suppose a person is searching for a new eye professional, whether new to contacts or glasses. In that case, this review will confirm that the team is experienced, listens carefully, and provides suggestions on how to wear contacts or glasses, or offers a referral for those needing cataract surgery. What a great team!

Had the experience to get glasses at LensCrafters. I went to American Best to get my eye exam…read more Because they always have same day opening. But theirs glasses are not cute. And fall under the old fashion but affordable spectrum. Staff got mad because we didn't want to purchase their frames. We decline the frame nicely and professionally. But, the face and tone staff made was unprofessional. So, I went to LensCrafters to possibly find lenses. I met Santana H, gave her my husband, and I prescription. She directed us with excellent customer service. Her knowledge of the lenses and other options was spectacular. I never had so much fun picking out lenses. And I have never been more educated. Let say never judge a book by its cover. She is great. I look forward to coming back and purchasing more frames from LensCrafters because of the experience I had today.

There were several young girls working at the front counter checking people in and out. They were all very chatty and friendly. A young girl did three different eye tests on three different machines. After she was done she took me to the eye examining room to see the doctor. I had to wait there for ten minutes. I could hear all those young girls talking and laughing the entire time. Must be a fun place to work. Dr Patel did my eye exam. She was very thorough and recommended I have a wellness eye exam that would show the layers of my eyes. This was kind of an emergency visit for me because I had developed a problem with my eye while traveling. She was able to tell me exactly what was going on with that wellness test. One of the best places for an eye exam in Clarksville. $99 plus another $30 for the wellness exam.
