    Lunch at h-mart
    Barbara S.

Love this H-mart where you can go grocery shopping and sit down for a hot delicious lunch. Shared a very hot vegetable tofu stew with white rice and a spicy pork bibimbap on a sizzling hot stone bowl. The bibimbap had a sunny side egg with lots of vegetables and the pork was tasty. It came with a bowl of miso soup. Would definitely return for these two dishes again. Service was slow and tables were packed on a cold winter Sunday.

Love love love! Quirky, Cute, excellent fresh produce, food hall, but also practical and fun items. This place has all of the above. So much fun to just roam around but also to get down to business. Decent prices! Love the Hello Kitty items!

    Bluefin Tuna Cutting
    Sharon L.

This was my first time at this H Mart location, bur definitely wont be the last! We came for the bluefin tuna cutting, but got lunch at the food court beforehand. The food court actually exceeded my expectations, and the taste and value here are much better than the Great Neck location. I ordered the yukgaejang and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size; the bowl was massive, with enough for 2 meals or for sharing. At $18.99, pricing is pretty consistent with other restaurants, but the value was way better considering the portion. I ordered with regular spiciness and this was the perfect spice level for great flavor without all of the hurt that comes after. Toppings were plentiful though the beef was a bit dry. Banchan is self-serve - the kimchi is pretty tasty! My fiance ordered the udon, which also came in a massive bowl with hearty noodle portions. The dashi broth was super flavorful. Although we came for the tuna cutting, the event was a bit lackluster. Appreciate that they gave tastings of the tuna, but it definitely had a fishiness to it even though it was freshly cut.

Eggshell in the Melon Cream Bread

This place is fantastic and I love it, but be careful of the baked goods. It appears they're made in house daily, my Melon Cream Bread had eggshell in it :( Turned me off from eating more and I had to throw the rest away.

If your a meat connoisseur you can get lost. My man loves going shopping here. He is like a kid in a candy shop. The one thing he loves is he can't talk to anyone. He can't understand them and they don't understand him!

This is a full service & large pan-Asian supermarket. It has everything from stinky durian to colorful baked goods, from a flower shop to cosmetics, from sit-down food court to fish & seafood mongers. Prices are moderate, sometimes on the high side, produce & bakery items look fresh, a good-sized meat/pork/chicken department, lots & lots of frozen goods, and there is more than sufficient parking.

Love this place! They literally have everything! Their seafood section is so fresh. I started off with lunch at their food court. I got the spicy crab soup. Then I shopped for groceries and got some beauty face masks. I ended my visit with some cake and coffee from their dessert area. This place is an event, not just a grocery store. You must visit if you haven't.

This location is huge. It shares a parking lot with a few other businesses but they are definitely the biggest footprint. Plenty of parking though but it can get busy. Set up like most H Marts I've been too, but this location is very spacious. There's a bakery as soon as you walk in and it's seperate from the market. There's fresh food and a small food court as well close to the entrance. It's a Korean themed market but they do have stuff from a lot of Asian cultures as well as typical stuff found in all supermarkets. The fresh food section here, "side dishes" is amazing. Very much like most H Marts, they also have houseware stuff as well. I always love shopping H marts and this one is no different.

The vitamin section rarely has staff available to help customers, and the coffee shop has been consistently disorganized for a long time. There don't seem to be consistent hours, and many times it feels understaffed and poorly supervised. I often see new employees every few weeks or months, which makes me wonder if there are larger management or staffing issues. On several occasions I've had to ask employees just to brew coffee, and overall the customer service and politeness have not been what you would expect from Whole Foods. I don't place most of the blame on the employees themselves many seem overwhelmed, undertrained, or unsupported. The bigger issue appears to be management and the lack of organization and supervision. I really don't like writing negative reviews because I shop here regularly and want this location to improve, but after years of the same problems I felt it needed to be said.
