I am happy, happy, happy that I called H2H this morning! Chris had serviced our air-conditioning unit a few years ago, very positive experience, and today was surprisingly great. We actually had another company out last week as they had installed the furnace twelve years ago and their rep didn't even go in the attic to check the furnace, just installed a new thermostat which he said he thought would solve the problem. $609!!! We should have asked for price quotes but didn't dream it would be that much. We had heat for six days. Chris came out today, went upstairs to the actual heater, did a few minor things and hot air is now blessing us through those ducts and vents they installed a few years ago. Chris and Josh were absolutely phenomenal. Our house is two stories and the upstairs was hot all the time and the downstairs was cold. I got a quote from Chris and a different company to fix our problem. Chris had a much better solution at a lower cost than the other company. We went with H2H. We scheduled the work a couple months out and the dates ended up being during the recent heatwave. Chris gave us the option to reschedule (we would be without AC for the 3 day project), but we decided to move forward. Chris is a hero. The man had to work in our attic, which was extremely hot for three days. He was concerned about my family not having AC and worked extremely hard to finish the job. He finished on time with pride in the job he did. I could tell that he loves his work. He told me multiple times that he was so happy with how the job turned out. My call was promptly returned and Chris found a way to fit me into his schedule the same day! Now I STILL would have written a 5 star review if I had to wait because the communication factor was so respectful... Our issue was diagnosed (we needed ignition modules for both systems up & downstairs) and not only were the parts on the truck, but Chris had thought he only had one and said goodbye to return tomorrow afternoon. I was totally fine with that...but 2 minutes later my doorbell rang and that sweet face was smiling because he went the extra mile to search his truck (on a hunch) that he actually DID have another ignition module! VIOLA! Back in he was and within and hour both HVAC units were up and running and all my vents were checked to make sure they were flowing air. I did not tell Chris that another company came by and told me we needed a new unit for $2000. I had this gut feeling we really didn't and that is why I called H2H...Among 5 or 6 others who either never returned the call or told me they couldn't come until after the new year. Chris was recommended to me by a contractor friend I know through church. It was time to replace both the upstairs and downstairs HVAC units and I'd been balking at the expense and the wide range of recommendations and prices I'd been quoted. I can't get into my attic and have been told a variety of problems and duct conditions existed. Chris explained everything and reassured me the ducts were fine. His quote was fair and it allowed me to upgrade to the whole house filters, which we needed. The system was installed 8 months ago and is far better and more efficient than the old one. A few months ago I called Chris bc I thought it was making a noise and Chris came by right away to check it out. It took him 5 seconds to tighten a screw on the outside condenser cover. I called H2H Heating and Air a few weeks ago because my elderly parents's thermostat broke. They live in San Juan Capistrano and are in their late 70s so I was very worried about them being in a cold house (for them, 60s is cold!). I was only in town visiting for the day so had to quickly call around to find someone to come out the same day. I called many companies - many of whom insisted that we buy the thermostat from them or had unreasonable service fees. Chris, the owner, was so great from the beginning. He actually tried to give me tips on how to fix the thermostat so that I wouldn't have to have anyone come out. When that didn't work, he came the very next morning and was so honest and kind to my parents. I wish every contractor would operate the way Chris does. He is absolutely amazing. First of all, he shows up not only on time but early, he is professional, knowledgeable and extremely honest. When he conducted his inspection and provided his quote he pointed out items that might be an issue during installation and included them in his quote.... which was 35% less than the other 4 quotes I wasted my time on. He gave us multiple options on equipment ranging from top of the line name brands to value options. One thing that impressed me the most were the questions he asked, "how long do you plan to stay in your home?" At first I was like why does that matter??? Well he explained if you plan on selling in the next 5 years I would recommend a different set up than if you are planning to stay for a while. There is no point to wasting your money on an expensive super efficient system if you are not going to be here long enough to recoup the investment. I was shocked, a contractor that wasn't trying to up sell?? Needless to say we went with Chris and H2H. On install day he and his helper showed up early, prepped the area and got to work straight away. During the install Chris came across a few things that needed attention, like register and duct repairs which he completed at no additional charge. He even ran to the hardware store for a part climbed up on our roof to replace a missing protective cap on pipe that had nothing to do with our HVAC system. When he finished the install he walked us through all the warranty paperwork along with operation of the system and recommended homeowner maintenance. When he left our house was cleaner than when he arrived and the system worked perfectly. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Chris is first class and the only HVAC guy I will ever use! read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a couple of months now. I had a complete HVAC replacement done in my 2000sq.foot, 2 story home in December. My system was 30 years old and it was time! I had several companies come give me a quote for the job, and Chris won my job because he was informative, fair, and because he was the owner/installer and took 100% responsibility for his work. He installed the system on one day, and then returned the following day to check the ac and make sure the system ran properly during the night. He also gave me some homework to make sure I could manage the thermostat and it's wi-fi capabilities and answered all my questions the next day. Honest to a fault and hard working, he bent over backwards to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction We had them replace our 38 year old forced air unit and add in air conditioning. Not only was his bid about 30% lower than the others for exactly the same scope of work, but he noticed things that needed to be done to do the job right (and included the work in his bid) that the other guys would probably have found after they started the job and up charged for it. He also relocated the thermostat on my wife's request ... at no charge. Additionally, after closer inspection during the job, he recommended not replacing some of the duct work that was in good condition and reduced our bill by $700. I have worked with many residential contractors of all types, and I can honestly say H2H is the best contractor experience I have had in my 62 years of living. You make an appoint, the contractor shows up neat and on time. You ask follow up questions, and he answers you promptly. You might wonder why you don't need a higher capacity HVAC system than what he's recommending, and he gives you an honest answer. You want him to show up and do the install on the appointed date and time, and he does. You hope he doesn't behave like a bull in a china shop--the way many contractors do--and he is so neat and clean that you wouldn't know he was in your house except for the fact that a new HVAC system is installed. You hope he finishes the job timely, and he does. You hope your installment passes inspection the first time, and . . . you guessed it . . . it does! Imagine that! H2H will bring you back to a bygone time when people had pride in their workmanship, were honest and upfront, stood by their word, and followed through on their commitments. I needed my 40+year old furnace replaced and wanted to have the following additional work done; add an air conditioner, have the asbestos containing ducts removed and replaced, and have two new registers added. I called several contractors to evaluate the job and submit quotes. Chris from H2H Heating and Air Conditioning came to my house to access the job. Most of the contractors sent out sales people whose understanding was pretty much limited to what was contained in the manufacture's brochures but Chris is a seasoned installer who not only knew the equipment very well but knew the details of what the job entailed and does the work himself. Chris was very explanatory and willing to answer my many questions. He patiently laid-out my options, reviewed with me the pros and cons of each and offered a fair priced quote. We chose H2H to do the entire job. My job took several days to complete due to the major amount of work involved and Chris and his assistant showed up each day at the time promised.
