I had a really great experience with H2O care from start to finish. They listened to my requirements (instead of just trying to sell me the most expensive solution possible) and were extremely thorough in answering all my questions. Our installer was also FABULOUS! The install is incredibly clean and his care and craftsmanship with the piping really shows. It kind of makes our old existing piping seem sloppy by comparison. I would like to share my experience with this company. Background: I have been their customer for several years (they used to be called Atlas). They perform routine maintenance of my well water filtration system (once a year). A few years back, they installed a radon remediation system, which is now also included in routine service. Technicians: In my opinions their technicians have been a hit and miss for me. Sometimes you get a good one, sometimes they send one who is poorly trained. Experience: Overall, I would not recommend them to a residential customer. I started having small issues with them very early on, but I chalked this up to just normal 'variation' in service. For example, after one annual service, my sediment filter housing started leaking - it turned out their technician over-tightened it. But what I found annoying is that they can screw up such a simple task as changing a sediment filter - I am doing it now and I am not even handy. Even worse, they would never admit their mistake, eventhough the fix was very minor - the part is $75 or so. At any rate, I just told them to stop servicing the sediment rather than deal with them on this. Another time, I had my radon system leak about a week after an annual service. This could have been a coincidence, sure, but, whoa! what a coincidence! I think most likely what happened is that the technician forgot to put back the system properly. Once again, they never owned up - all they did was give me some break on the fees to fix the leak. But this takes the cake: After they installed the Radon system, it was much louder than I anticipated. Loud whisltling noise every time you turn on a faucet. Granted they are not an equipment manufacturer, so I that is not my issue. Anyway, I called them and they said they can replace the motor. The new motor was indeed quieter, but it died, silently, every 18 months or so. The only way to tell that it was not working was to put your hands over suction are and feel if the air is being sucked in. And it would fail just as soon as the warranty ran out. After replacing the motor for the 3rd or fourth motor, I called them and technician (one who seems to know what he is doing) tells me the motor was not designed for that system. Obviously this is annoying, because they put the wrong motor on my system, meaning it was probably not even doing the job propertlt. Anyway, I ask him to get someone from the office to call me. Nothing, no one calls. I email and call several times - all I got was that the 'work order was being prepared' or something to that effect. It has been 6 months. My radon system is down and H2O is not responding to email or phone call. BTW: When you email them to schedule service, the response is very prompt. In my case, all I want is for someone to come and reconnect the old whistling motor, but they don't even have the courtesy to give me a 1 minute phone call. I think they have grown too big so don't care about individual customers. I would stay away this company read more

If I could give negative stars to this company I would. Just purchased a property less than a mile from this company and needed a new softener unit. Had to wait 4 weeks for an a available tech to come out to do a water test when I already told the company the water was bad. I literally was BEGGING FOR THEM TO SELL ME a $ 4,000 new system so frustrating that the tech at my house and the lady on the phone tells me that's not their job, that's sales. Water is a basic necessity but these people act like I'm trying to schedule an appointment to soup up my corvette. Since closing on my house in early November, I have been able to add lights to 5 different rooms, paint 3 rooms, remove all my trim throughout the house, rip up 2 carpets, have a mold company come in and do remediation, 3 quotes on floors, yet girlfriend and I will be unable to have Christmas in my house because of Water. We bought a vacation house with a well. We knew there was arsenic in the water so we had the seller put in a single filter at the kitchen sink. Little did we know that the well also had a high radon content. H20 came out and installed a system that completely removed the arsenic and the radon from the entire house. We already had a soft water system and they used that instead or trying to sell us a new one. The installers were very fast, efficient and they cleaned up their mess entirely. From my first phone call to H2O Care I've been impressed with their knowledge, reasonable prices, and attention to the detail required to get our well water to be safe for consumption and passing all regulations. All of our options were discussed and I'm happiest about the ongoing maintenance, access to 24hr emergency plumbers if needed, and guidance how to keep our family safe with regular reminders from H2O care to test. We had double the acceptable level of arsenic detected and hard water as well. We now have a full system and the post-tests show all issues with our water have been fully resolved. Great experience with this company. Moved into a new house with well water last year. Was not familiar with the system since never had well before, but could tell whatever filtration system that was in place was old and had not been maintained in a long time and wasn't comfortable having untreated well water in use in my home. Contacted H20 Care with my questions and concerns and a rep came out a day or so later. Did a standard test on the water which was found to have very low pH (acidic) and was certainly rotting my pipes. Got a reasonable quote on a new filtration and treatment system for my needs including installation from their own plumbing staff. Went ahead with it and about a week or so later, the installation staff came and installed the new equipment while removing and disposing of my old equipment in about 4 hours. Overall I thought these guys were professional, knowledgeable, and provided good prompt service. I'm much more comfortable with my household water now. Would recommend to anyone in the area that has concerns about their residential water supply. read more

Beware of this company and their scare tactics. We hired them to fill our neutralizer tank. They came and filled it only 1/3 of the way and then tested the water and told us we needed $10K worth of new neutralizer tank, softener, etc. I asked why they didn't simply fill the current neutralizer all the way and they said it was not possible, I needed the new neutralizer. I got a second opinion and that company filled the neutralizer tank a week later. I had our water retested - perfect. $100 vs their $10K fix for a problem I didn't have. read more

Had a problem for years with our water which prevent us from washing our cloths at home ( stains from water). Had others look over problem and they were unable to come up with a solution. Called Mark and he tested our water which had a extremely high iron content. He was able to put in a system that prevents this and now able to use our washer to get clean cloths the first time in years. Also had him install a system for our drinking water and the before and after tests are amazing. It is good to know our family now has pure&clean water for drinking&cooking. I couldn't be more pleased with the service this company provided me with. I recently moved into a home with well water. The home is only 7 yrs old and has a filtration system. Following a 2 day power outage, my water started to have a sulfur odor and progressively worsened. After numerous attempts to find a well company and having no success, I found this company online and a rep was at my home within a week(David Romboldi). He educated me on my system and well-water, labeled my valves and outlets, reset my filter and field tested my water. He further informed that my current filtration system appeared to be working fine and was properly serviced by the prior owner, but if the odor returns I might need an additional system (oxidizer). No sales pitch for a new system...no charge for his time. After a few months, the odor returned and I called David. He ordered exactly what I needed and my water is now amazing. The plumber and assistant who performed the job were great. The plumbing looks like artwork and they were a pleasure to have in my home for the day. The cost came in just under $3000 which I found very reasonable after researching the system. The office staff was also excellent. Great company read more
