Found a new favorite for boba and snacks in Millbrae area. There are so many choices, boba drinks, fruit juice and even a DIY dessert. The combo deal is perfect for a quick bite ($12), we had popcorn chicken and boba milk tea, it;s a good deal. Their papaya milk was great my favorite too. I like the wall display of ingredients, it's really neat to see the real goji berries, sugar canes and sesame seeds they use. Will back for their DIY dessert soon.
I tried their popcorn chicken for the very first time and it was somewhat decent. I really liked how they fry their popcorn chicken (in terms of their crunch). It looks like maybe tapioca starch was used. The way they make it adds another dimension of crunch. The flavor was a little lacking. I think the pepper in the batter was overpowering the other flavors. I think the popcorn chicken would go really well with some five-spice salt, similar to what Chinese restaurants serve with roast duck. I don't know if it was just my batch, but the popcorn chicken pieces are HUGE. I really wish they cut them into bite size pieces instead of chicken tender size pieces. Even their smaller pieces were either a big ball shape or strips. The pieces should be more uniform. I was initially a little bit concerned seeing black dots on the popcorn chicken, but when I took a bite, I realized it's pepper. It was a little alarming at first since I haven't had popcorn chicken prepared that way before. However, what was more alarming was how the popcorn chicken was cooked. The done-ness of the chicken was uneven. I had some pieces that were white and some of them quite pink. I don't think that's normal. Some parts of the batter were way more brown than some other pieces of popcorn chicken. I wish it came with basil. I feel like without it, it's missing something. The chicken wasn't very juicy, but I am glad it wasn't super dry either.
We ONLY got the black sesame paste. It was yummy, but not as smooth and creamy as we like it. Sweetness was just right though. But it was also more expensive than most places. The music inside was also SO loud....service was kinda slow cause it was just one girl too.
Interesting little dessert spot in Millbrae near all the large Chinese restaurants. Service was definitely a bit slow - took 15ish minutes to get our order, but they also seem a bit under staffed so it's kinda understandable Drinks and desserts were ok. Pretty happy that they have durian desserts but that was about it
Had wanted to try this place after seeing a foodie blogger on Instagram recommend it as a good alternative to Meet Fresh price wise. Popped in as a group of 3 a little before 2:45pm on a gloomy weekday, and there were only a handful of other customers inside. They have some premade food/drinks in the refrigerated section on the side that you can choose from. Ordered at the kiosk and didn't have to wait too long before our food was ready! - Peach Gum with Red Dates Fresh Milk (hot) - my friend ordered this, and I enjoyed it! Warm and comforting - Ha Tea Handmade Signature - a variety of toppings in your choice of milk or milk tea. I opted for black milk tea as the "soup." A worker informed me that they were out of one of the toppings in the order, so I opted to sub in sago. This is essentially milk tea in bowl form with a TON of toppings haha. I ran out of the milk tea partway through, and one of the workers kindly gave me a refill. Staff were super kind, and the place was overall pretty quiet so this was a great place to chat and catch up. I was expecting to like this as much as Meet Fresh, but it didn't quite hit that for me. Would be open to coming back to try something else on their menu but not exactly itching to return asap
A bit of a wait but the menu has great selection and they sell some other snacks and desserts in the store as well. Combo was a good deal, chicken is fried per order I think and tea was good. Papaya milk was great, loved it. The menu on the ordering system is way too cluttered with too many sections though, they should really condense it more.

Coexisting among a plethora of milk tea shops in the peninsula, HA Tea stands out with its emphasis on the core substance, tea. Where sweetness is required, it seems more natural sugars are used in the form of fruit. For those looking for a more guilt free choice, consider making a pit stop here. We came in for a quick to go order of a few drinks and they were all very tasty and refreshing. I especially enjoyed the mango milk which had a nice hint of mango. The bits of mango certainly made it pleasant to drink with the added texture and knowing the flavor and sweetness came directly from the fruit, not some sugary syrup. The other drinks we got were also yummy and the crushed fruit, again exemplifies their quality through fresh, hand-crafted drinks infused with the purest form of flavors. Overall, HA Tea Handmade checks all the boxes for me for something refreshing, natural, and delicious. You're not coming here for the flair but instead for the back to basics tea that started all the hype for this industry. If simple ingredients are all you'll want in your tea or fruit drink, that is all you'll get and taste here!
Always Fast service here. And they answered all my questions. Great to know their milk tea is non- dairy, which is a major plus for lactose intolerance like me. Parking is right in front. It's mostly pack, but we always still manage to get a spot. We live in the east bay, and don't mind paying the toll just to get fresh dessert from here. Our favorite go to spot for fresh, yummy dessert.
I visited for the first time last month. I came specifically for the diy dessert bowl. This is a comparison from my first visit to my fourth visit. 1ST VISIT Service was questionable. They have a self order kiosk but I had questions as the menu had duplicate items in english but different in chinese and didnt know what some items were. The cashier stated she cant read chinese and couldn't really explain what the items were. Although she did clarify the osmanthus jelly came in cube or noodle shape. I ordered hot, coconut soup with osmanthus cubes jelly, oolong jelly, red bean, peach gum, and taro. Cons: Came cold which makes sense as the jelly would probably melt. Hot should be removed as an option. I wanted sweet soup or tremella soup but they don't actually ever have it. So I picked coconut soup, which was very watery and lacked flavor. Osmanthus jelly came is wrong shape, asked for cubes and got noodles. PROS: The options were all delicious even though the coconut soup was light in flavor. You can taste all the individual flavors, and still worked well as a whole. The jellies had perfect firmness. The dessert was so refreshing, filling and affordable. It was so good despite the cons. I couldn't leave a 3 star review knowing its potential. Fast forward 3 visits later! FOURTH VISIT The staff is much more knowledgeable. The menu still includes items that are not available. The dessert bowl ordered came as ordered. Cold, coconut soup with osmanthus cubes jelly, oolong jelly, red bean, peach gum, and taro. The coconut soup has improved, thicker and flavorful. I have ordered a few drinks here but I return every week for the DIY dessert bowl. I don't know any other local eatery offering varieties of tea jelly. Which are all tasty! Trust me, Ive tried them all. Highly recommend giving it a try.
Came here for the first with a friend after lunch together. We were very full but of course we still decided to get dessert. We both decided on getting the DIY dessert bowl. You get to pick 5 (I think) toppings and a base. My friend picked her 5 topping with the coconut milk. I got small mochi balls, grass jelly, oolong jelly, lychee jelly, and fresh mango with a milk tea base. It tastes sooo good. I know everything else is pretty much pre-made but the we liked the milk tea base so much that we each bought another bottle of their HK milk tea. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again. Also the lady at the counter was very helpful. I couldn't finish my bowl and asked for for a lid. The lid doesn't quite fit so she offered to tape it up for me and she wrapped it all up nice and tight :D
HA Tea Handmade has many options to choose from with a variety of desserts, drinks, and snacks. Their fruit drinks are pretty sweet though, even if made at lower sugar percentages. The Grass Jelly Milk Tea at 50% sugar was very diluted however. The popcorn chicken is good and has a large portion. The service was quite fast, taking around 10-15 minutes. The inside is welcoming, with a good amount of seating and good cleanliness. Would recommend coming :)
5 stars for the Dessert DIY: $7.50 for a DIY dessert - pick a base, hot or cold, and then 5 toppings. There are the standard beans (red, green), balls (boba, taro, mochi), jellies (pudding, herbal), and even more out there stuff (kit kats? oreo??). If you've been to Eastern Ice in Taiwan it gives those vibes. Portion is big too! This spot has rotated through at least 2 boba shops in the past so I hope HA Tea's a success.
Got the lychee dragonfruit smoothie because it sounded refreshing. Got 50% sweetness. Added lychee jelly and I think it kinda overpowered the drink but it's ok. The cheese cream top was really good. Definitely want to come back and try the taro ball dessert bowls. The smell of popcorn chicken made my hungry. Parking can be limited during busy times.
TeaEver, means WaitForever. It took over 30 minutes for my fries, popcorn chicken, octopus balls and wings to come out. The thing was, we were the only customers. I can't imagine how long it would take if there were other customers before us. They were out of egg rolls and fried tofu. The high school worker told us after we ordered. They should have blacked out the out-of-stock items on their ordering tablet. The food tasted OK. read more
I love me some milk tea!! I decided to stop by this tea shop on a late Saturday afternoon. Parking was lowkey a nightmare because the "parking lot" had very limited space so I ended up parallel parking on the street. The shop itself was pretty big and there was seating with tables inside. You can place your order on a tablet or through the cashier. I ended up getting a Ceylon Milk Tea with Boba, 50% sweetness. When I ordered, I noticed the lowest percentage of sweetness was 50% with the highest percentage of sweetness being 100%. Normally, I like my milk tea 0%-25% sweet so I was scared about the sweetness. It took about 15 minutes to get my order but there were only 2 people making the drinks which was understandable. Even though I ordered my drink with 50% sweetness, I really ended up liking my drink! The tea taste was actually strong and the sweetness came more from the boba than the actual drink itself. Overall, I would try to come here before dinner time or after dinner time so it'll be easier to get parking since there are lots of neighboring restaurants around. read more

My family and I come here all the time and we love it so much. As someone who has tried boba places all around the bay, this place is one of my favorites and they don't use powder in their drinks. I don't understand the bad reviews because the people working there are actually really nice and work efficiently. Plus they always have sales including buy one get one free type of deals which is nice especially since most boba places nowadays charge 8 bucks for some nasty boba. read more
This particular retail space has seen many different boba shops over the years. There must be bad feng shui here or something because there hasn't really been a boba shop that could flourish long term when they've opened at this location. Still, I wanted to give TeaEver a chance as I had not tried them yet. I came on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait to order at their digital kiosk. My drink came out within 5 minutes of my purchase. I ordered the tiger matcha milk tea with boba, no ice, 50% sweet. I liked that the sweetness was just right and that the brown sugar and matcha blended well in this drink. I didn't like that the boba was firmer than I would have liked. I left most of the pearls behind when I finished drinking the milk tea because I just couldn't eat them. For a drink that costs over $7, I expected higher quality than this. The drink was fine but not amazing so it didn't make up for the hard boba pearls. It wasn't my cup of tea and I wouldn't recommend you go out of your way to come here. read more

I tried the mango avocado cheese top drinks. And they use the fresh sweet manila mango. It was quite tasty. Avocado was interesting. The egg puff also pretty good. Flavor is very good. Its name has a meaning " Whatever". I think that is why it is named TeaEver. Milk tea all tasted good. 4.7/5 Fruity tea is only syrup. 2/5 Will go again for iced milk tea with topping. Favor is great and milk tasted special. Better than teaspoon. read more

I would show you a picture of the Okinawan Milk Tea I just ordered but, it was so good it's already finished . Staff here are extremely organized and efficient. I asked for light ice and 50% sweetened and it was perfect. Highly recommend that you add red bean to your milk teas. Very good here. Also, parking is limited so try coming with a friend and one person waits while the other picks up the drink. Located not far from the Millbrae Ave exit, this place is located in a narrow sort of shopping hub. My favorite milk tea/boba place in and around the SF International Airport. Also NOTE: Yelp is incorrectly indicating a 30-40 minute pickup time. That is FALSE. I ordered 10 minutes prior from San Mateo and when I arrived to pick up my (2) orders, they were ready and perfect. read more

We ordered an oolong milk tea and a peach oolong milk tea. They were all right. Decent but nothing special I believe the tea for the peach oolong milk tea was freshly brewed, which I appreciate. But both at 75% sugar, oolong milk tea was sweet and the peach oolong milk tea was not. Had to ask the staff to put more sweetener in, but they insisted that they added sugar, but they got it done, and the tea was then better. The boba was good and chewy. Overall taste wise, it's approaching 4 star. Some clutter in the store, so ambiance can be better read more

I honestly love this boba place but the last experience I had at this place was absolutely horrible. My boyfriend and I came here on a Wednesday night and we ordered the pineapple passion fruit green tea one with boba and one without and also ordered some egg puffs to go. The girl that worked there that night forgot to make our egg puffs and just handed us our drinks. We had to remind her we ordered egg puffs and she started making it then so we had to wait 15 extra minutes standing there. Once we left and tried our drinks, we realized how gross and watered down the drinks were. It tasted like no syrup or tea was added to the drinks. Literally just pineapple chunks and water. Not only that but she forgot to add boba to one of them. Extremely disappointing because this was one of my favorite boba places in Millbrae. I'm hoping this is a one time mishap but I probably won't be returning read more

I came here recently to get some teas before going back to LA. I didn't really enjoyed the teas but I really liked their taro toast. The taro filling was so good. It was so creamy with strong taste of taro. If I am in the area again. I will for sure go back for the taro toast. // M I L K T E A |1| Signature Wukong Black Milk Tea WAAAAAAY too sweet - I pretty much couldn't enjoy anything else about it. The drink came at full sweetness since they wouldn't allow me to adjust the sugar content (which probably means the milk tea is pre-made in batches). The drink came with coffee jelly by default and I added boba as an additional topping. The jelly wasn't bad and the boba was ok but honestly this drink was basically liquid sugar that completely overshadowed the tea. I would not recommend this unless you love super sweet drinks, which is typically what I like so it's really saying something when even I find a drink to be too sweet. |2| Jasmine Milk Tea I did enjoy how floral the Jasmine tea was, but unfortunately the drink was too watery for my taste. I prefer my milk teas to be more creamy. Perhaps some of their other speciality drinks are good, but their standard milk teas are pretty subpar. - Thai MT was pretty good - Boba is good with the texture a little more on the firmer side - Oolong MT tasted more like Jasmine MT - The menu in the store is all different from the tv monitors, posted paper menus at the front vs. the wall, to the tablet which made it more confusing. - Popcorn chicken was juicy on the inside. I think the outside could've been a bit more crispy and overall, the chicken could use more seasoning. read more

Got a green tea drink with 25% sugar, and it was good--perfect for someone looking to enjoy a drink without too much sweetness. It might taste a bit bitter, so if you prefer it sweeter, 50% sugar might be a better option. Looks like the place is under new management too. read more
Without the "no sugar" option. It seems to me that people have begun to use sugar not just to emphasize the taste of a product, but unfortunately to cover up any imperfections. Such is the case here. I ordered my favorite Jasmine Tea with Cheese Creama and added in a comment to make it sugar-free because I don't like to consume extra calories through drinks. They did it for me, but we also came to a consensus after tasting that they also didn't add sugar to my boyfriend's drink (he never orders it that way). So, before he even finished half of it, he made the decision not to drink any more, which almost never happens. Otherwise it was for me, because I'm used to drinking tea without sweeteners, but what frustrated me was the cheesy foam. It had a diluted texture, which I didn't like. The place itself looks like some kind of warehouse with tastelessly decorated walls. We definitely won't go there again (especially considering how many places nearby with the same offer, but better quality). The only plus was the staff. The guys were friendly and answered my questions (which usually I like to ask quite a few). read more
Honestly, I would give this place a 2 or 2.5, but since there is COVID, I will round up. I was near the area and wanted to get some boba and this place was suggested on Yelp, so I decided to check it out. There was a short line when I got there. It took about 10 minutes until it was my turn to order and I got the jasmine green tea cheese creame. I waited 30 minutes for my drink, so a total of 40 minutes for one drink. If I knew, I would've gone else where since the drink tasted like other regular boba places (but other places are would've been faster even when busier). It was not worth the wait. read more
This used to be my favorite place for getting egg tarts, now it's just another tea place. Standard menu items at a little over the normal prices. I came here to try their drinks but was super unimpressed by their super sweet smoothies and their lackluster cream teas. With so many tea places around here they need to step up their game to compete with the competition. read more
Over the years the boba options in Millbrae have gradually gotten better and TeaEver is on that list of good options to go to for boba in Millbrae. I would definitely come in with zero expectations in terms of service because this shop is designed to have little human interaction as you just order on the kiosk then sit and wait for them to call your order. The most communication you'll get is your order number and a thank you which is definitely fine with me personally. The inside of TeaEver is pretty comfortable to sit in as well. I got the Thai milk tea with black boba and it was pretty good. It wasn't overly sweet even at 100% sweetness for my taste. Overall I had a solid experience going here. Their boba is pretty standard and it won't blow you away quality wise, but I still think it's worth trying out if you're nearby. read more
I really enjoyed the beautiful pink lychee + dragonfruit smoothie w/ cheese foam drink here! I can't remember if I added or it came with lychee jelly but it was also supwr tasty with that. We also got an okinawa milk w/ boba drink and that was prettt tasty as well. I liked their popcorn chicken and thought it was pretty tasty as well. The inside is pretty cozy with lots of comfy couches. I think parking was a little bit tricky, there's parking on the streets but at the time we went it was pretty full and so we turned into a parking garage that was sandwhiched between all the businesses on that side of the street. Would defs come back here tho for the lychee drink and popcorn chicken! read more
Day 6 of 7 Days of Boba triple threat, stop 2, TeaEver. Located at the bottom of a condo, along a stretch of restaurants and a small Asian market, we find TeaEver. A bit of background, I had actually forgotten I had been here prior to this visit (I was first to visit too, my bad, lol), but while I do remember bits and pieces of it after I realized I've been here, the experience itself did feel different from that while ago, but there were also plus and minuses from before. Staff was okay. I do feel that there probably could've been more attentiveness from the staff, more so to the speed that they were doing things. They didn't really appear to be in a rush at any point, even when I first got there, and there was a long line of people waiting for their drinks, there was just no urgency. It did take a bit longer than I thought it would to get my drink considering after the long line of people left, it still took a bit for them to get to mine. While I certainly prefer quality over speed, should at least try and make it seem like they were trying to get things done faster. Price wise is fair. They only have one size for drinks, albeit, it's the short tall cup, but for the price, it balances itself out in the end. I got the Wukong Black Milk Tea again, but one difference this time compared to the prior time all that time ago, I could actually substitute the coffee jelly out for boba this time since I wasn't allowed to last time about a little over a year ago not long after they opened. That's a change that I welcome for sure. The drink itself was nice, the milk and tea was nicely blended, good milk flavors, though tea could've been a bit stronger, overall just tasty and has kind of a caramel like flavor to it seemingly mimicking a brown sugar almost. Boba was also nicely made, and a tad more on the mushier side than the QQ side, but well made, and has a bit of flavor to it too. Final Verdict: One of the better options for boba in this area. Pricing is fair, drink was well made and tasty, and boba was made correctly on the mushier side than QQ. Staff here didn't really move all that fast, so when they actually are fairly busy, my concern is probably going to be a fairly longer wait to actually get your drink, so will have to see what it's like next time. All in all, would recommend giving TeaEver a try. read more
Because it was raining and I needed something warm, I opted for the B2 signature wukong black milk tea (hot). The price was $5.41 for a size of a venti cup. I think hot drinks default to a large cup. And I was pleasantly surprised that it came with coffee jelly for free! :) I didn't want it to be too sweet so I went down to 50% and it was alright. Nothing great - just a regular milk tea I guess. If it wasn't for the weather, I would have gotten the matcha drinks they have. Btw, they close at 10pm should you have late night sweet cravings. Their menu reminds me of Quickly (they have popcorn chicken!!) but with way fancier drinks similar to that of YiFang. read more
Good milk tea spot in Millbrae. If you want a basic milk tea or smoothies open until 930/10pm it's a good place check out. My wife wanted some milk tea later than usual so I picked her up some and she's was happy with it. I would recommend ordering it advance if you don't want to wait. Nice place to also drink it there as well. read more
I contracted an earworm. I made the mistake of swapping out a word to 'Always and Forever' and that worm wriggled in my ears for hours. Warning: DON'T DO IT! And do not read further because I hear it can be contagious! Always and TeaEver Each moment with you Is just like a dream to me That somehow came true, yeah First off, I am not a boba tea drinker (I know, I know. I deflect your daggers with my ice coffee shields) but I do enjoy some good tea. TeaEver sources quality tea from China and the drinks has a nice taste and the aromatic qualities are definitely there. Keith behind the counter helped me with some recommendations because like I said, I don't have boba tea often. He recommended some of the favorite drinks with great detail about their ingredients. It was nice to get it narrowed down from so many choices. The space was previously occupied by Mochi Factory and they layout is pretty much the same - spacious and relaxing atmosphere. I know the shop is called TeaEver, but hopefully one day that fancy coffee machine in the back corner will start brewing cups of Joe. read more
I've been on this diet the past 9 years. You know the one where you keep eating AYCE and drinking boba every day but constantly talk about needing to get into shape without ever going to the gym. Yeah that diet. Came during soft opening and it was promo for buy 2 get one Milk Tea free (choose from a certain section only). .:: Drank ::. Lychee & Dragon fruit Smoothie with Cream Cheese $7.50: exactly what the description says, however I only tasted the lychee and not really the dragon fruit. The drink was a bit plain in flavors but the cream cheese helped give extra boost as well, not as prominent as I have hoped but was interesting mix with the lychee flavor. All in all, not so much of a wow factor as I have expected but it was a good attempt! .:: Service/ Parking / Ambiance ::. The service was just ok. The cashier wasn't super friendly or anything. Young guy quite emotionless, didn't really greet us when we walked up to the counter, just took our order. Parking was easy on a Monday afternoon. There's several spots out front that not easily available on more popular days. However, there was construction going on above so space was limited for an off day. The boba shop is located in the center of the block next to the new PPQ that just opened. The inside is clean cut and several different wall arts. This place was less than 1 month old when I visited. Ordered a couple drinks here for takeout before heading to a friend's place nearby for dinner. We all enjoyed the drinks but I'm giving 3 stars because we thought prices were a bit pricey. I called in my order, and by the time I arrived 20 minutes later, it was ready. I ordered a grape smoothie ($6.50), which normally comes with crema, but they made one without the crema at my request. The smoothie was good. I liked that there were bits of fresh grape bits inside. read more

Long due review for such a nice place for boba. My partner and I were looking for someplace new for boba and stumbled upon TeaEver on Yelp. Being someone who typically goes to Millbrae, I was surprised that TeaEver was located so close to the typical restaurants I eat at. Regardless, finding this place was a gem. I was immediately satisfied the minute I stepped into the shop. There was ample seating and the decoration and walls made you feel like you were transported into a tea shop in Taiwan. The menu was quite extensive, ranging from tea creama to fruit teas. The first item on the menu that captured my attention was the sakura boba (which was pink and had a light flavor). We had asked about the sakura boba but the employee simply gave us a small amount to try (some things just can't be explained with words). The sakura boba was truly interesting and I think is a must-try. I opted to get the Passionfruit Pineapple Green tea while my partner had grabbed an Oolong Latte with Crystal and Sakura Boba. Upon the first sip, I thought that my drink was delicious. With the many boba places popping up recently, I feel that many places are competing for the uniqueness of the drinks and can in some ways, disregard the tea itself. TeaEver was definitely not one of those places. I thought the green tea in my drink was very strong and flavorful, exactly to my liking (I didn't even adjust the sugar as I'd typically). I did, however, feel that the pineapple overwhelmed the passionfruit flavor in my drink. Regardless, my drink was satisfying. Deduct one star for the watermelon juice with cheese crema that is free if you order $25+ from Cheung Hing. Apparently you have to ask what's the free drink as you can't just choose. For awhile when it was the Mango Delight (Mango Pomelo Sago), that was super worth since that drink is like $6. Watermelon juice was too watery and not made of fully ripe watermelons so it didn't taste great, just tasted of water. Not disgusting at all so it's not that big of a deal, but I think not all creations might taste amazing. Kudos for being creative though! Also, wait was kinda long for drinks today ~15 min. The Hong Kong style egg waffle is delicious! We ended up going back to order another one since it was so good - crunchy outside with soft interior and perfectly sweet. We also got the Lychee Dragonfruit smoothie with cheese crema and it def tastes like a light blend of fresh lychee and dragonfruit. Huge contrast to the Mango Delight. I'm vegan and was craving boba luckily I ran into this place. Ting Ting the manager was very kind and pointed out what I could order. The jasmine and oolong tea can be made with soy milk or oat milk. Make sure to ask them or write in the notes since it is not an option at the kiosk. I'm glad to find a place with vegan options. read more

Hello Michelle. Due to construction on the building, we are only doing a soft opening. At the moment our hours are 12 noon to 9 pm but this may change after our official opening. Thank you for inquiring.
