I haven't had a Habit Hamburger in over five years and it's the first time visiting this place in Hanford. When I first walked in I noticed right away how clean this place is. This place wasn't very busy, but they have two self service kiosks for ordering menu items. They also have a large shelf in the back for pick-up using Grub-hub or Uber eats. I ordered off the Kiosk thinking it would be quicker. There was a wait, I saw patrons who ordered after me at the counter get their food before mine. I didn't make a big deal as the manager asked if I had the Santa Barbara burger and she assured me the cook was making it fresh. I ordered the Santa Barbara with Avocado and added bacon. I opted for fries. They carry Pepsi products which I was glad to see, but I gave up drinking soda so I opted for the Cucumer lime refresher they have. Oh that tasted so good. My burger arrived hot and fresh. It had plenty of avocado. I didn't realize how big this burger sandwich was. Did my stomach shrinK? I was only able to eat half. The lettuce was shredded so it was hard to keep that in tact with every bite. The onions were carmelized and the sourdough bread had plenty of mayo on it. This sandwich was made perfectly. I have zero complaints. My fries were cooked perfectly and I ate them with mustard and ketchup you can get at the condiment bar. The last time I had a habit burger, I had a Turkey burger. While ordering through the kiosk, I didn't see a Turkey burger as an option. Did it get removed? They restrooms were clean and you're able to wash your hands only without someone locking you out. Great job and kudos to the manager for keeping this place well maintained and operating. Parking: I came at 4pm right when all the high schoolers got out of school so this area was busy and the parking lot was full. I had to park in the parking meant for the tire shop. Everything went well as it always does. The food is great. The front employees are friendly and knowledgeable about everything on their menu - they can answer any question you ask. About this restaurant is competent and fast and it's just a bonus that the food is outstanding. It's nice that they have outdoor seating with shade. The one star isn't because of the taste or quality of the food. It was the experience which means more to me than anything else. I ordered for pick up which included 2 salads. One was just under $13 I think and the other one was about $27 with the extras. I had my husband pick it up and I was shocked and disappointed. I paid almost $7 to add fish and it was a piece of fish about the size of a large chicken nugget. Not at all worth a $7 price tag. And almost $5 for extra chicken when it literally looked no more than the same amount of chicken in the other salad! I asked for no ice in my drinks and of course there was ice. That may not seem like a big deal of a mishap but it is..those were homemade limeades. The ice COMPLETELY ruins the taste. It tasted like some sort of high fructose sugar water with a splash of lime. And to top it off, when I called after placing the order on the app to be sure that my extras were added the lady on the phone sounded like I was being a nuisance to her! I always come in for the 10 dollar habit meal deal and the staff is always so friendly, especially their manager. She always creates such a positive atmosphere when you walk in. She remembers my order and I've seen her remember other people's order as well. Just today she even went out of her way to help a customer with a disability. While the food is always really good, the hospitality that is shown on every visit is what makes this location special. Big kudos to the crew here. read more

I love their charburgers with cheese, fries are good too, we ordered them without seasoning and were perfect. If you havent yet tried their strawberry lemonade or hibiscus one ugggh u need to. I love eating at the Habit, but this time they didn't live up to their value or brand. I had asked for no salt on my fries and they were covered with salt, so much for service. Our table was wiped clean but the grease from someone earlier was over the entire table top and sides which led to a stripe across my new shirt. The burgers made here are delicious! Well cooked and very quick to deliver. I ordered two burgers and the onion rings. This place right here may have the best onion rings in town. They beat out many places I have been to for how they made their onion rings so when you come down here do not hold out on those rings. The drinks here are self serve which makes it easy but if you are still into the COVID mitigation it didn't seem as if that was too safe so it really will depend on the customer and how they may want their restraunts to be when they go to them. The customer service was good as well and they were wearing their mask the whole time. All in all it is a wonderful place to go. They have outside dining if you want to get some fresh air and inside dining if it hot. And if it is too sunny outside you can use the umbrellas to cover you. COVID-19 Phase: All workers are masked and masks are required. I walked in and ordered the BBQ chicken salad with no bacon or dressing. They had great music playing. The worker was nice, got my number and said i would receive a text when it was ready. They have outside seating. None inside given these times. Shortly later I got a text, received my order and left. When I think of the excellent standard, or the "pound-for-pound" category, The Habit is for sure on top of my list. It's one of the best establishments in town when it comes to consistency and quality, The Habit never fails to deliver when called upon. Me and the fam have been to this particular location more than a dozen times now, and it's always been the same excellent service and good quality food. I've also been to the Hanford, Visalia, Fresno, and Santa Clara locations as well. The consistency is the same across all locations. The food is always fresh and good. The place is always clean. And the service is always excellent. If you can't decide where to eat for lunch, The Habit is a safe bet. read more

Holy Moly! This place is becoming my favorite place really fast. I have been to other locations before we got one here in Hanford. But I had never been to any of them too many times. So far we have been here 3 times and it just gets better. It's so clean when you walk in and the menu is presented in a great fashion. The staff is very friendly and professional. Which is saying a lot when talking about fast food. They must screen their employees pretty well and train them. Our orders are always perfect so far. I have been a been a big fan of the char burger personally. Usually with onion rings. But that I really like about The Habit is they have the little yellow peppers where he condiments are. Not many place have that. Those little yellow peppers go great with a burger! After you order they give you a little buzzer to alert you when your order is ready. Which never seems to take too long. They go over your order with you before you walk away to make sure everything is right. I haven't moved on to other items on the menu yet. But give me time. I'll get there! To me, anywhere that puts pinapple on a burger is a worthwhile place to eat, but not only that sold me on them being one of the best. The customer service is awesome. Besides having the best burger in Hanford, The Habit also has impeccable service. After finishing a long shift I went in to grab dinner and was immediately helped by Kayden, who took my order in a flash. He and I shot the breeze while I waited for the food and honestly, it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Austin, the manager, checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly and was exceedingly hospitable. These guys made my brief wait seem even shorter. My meal was simply perfect. I'm not certain if it was simply the great service, but I had one of the best hamburgers I've eaten in ages. To say I'm pleased with my experience with The Habit would be a true understatement. I rarely eat at the habit but I came last Monday and today Monday 09/11/2023 and the manager Austin very friendly has amazing customer service and really is a helpful individual to the guest. The ambiance here is outstanding clean, fast, and just outright pleasant. I ordered there Korean bbq char burger the kimchi pairs well with the patty and the extra bbq meat the sweet potato fries are amazing. Love this place. One of the few keto options in town and delicious. I always get the mushroom burger lettuce wrapped with extra patties and extra garlic sauce. You know, I just love this place because the food is COOKED fresh... however recently they changed the Tri-tip they use to pre-cooked (yuck) and now I don't know where I'm going to go for fresh cooked tri-tip. Maybe BL Quality Meats? I'm just very saddened that the chain thinks a little extra time to cook some QUALITY, FRESH meat is a waste because I was willing to pay the extra. I always ordered the Caesar salad with Tri-tip and EXTRA Tri-tip because I loved it that much, but now they've lost a customer. I guess I'll stick to sit-down restaurants for real, fresh food. Habit was just voted #1 fast food in California, but if they ask me to vote for them again next year with this change, well it ain't gonna happen.
