I was welcomed as soon as I walked in. The store was clean, organized and pretty well stocked. I was only there looking at living room furniture but they had many options. I will say the prices seemed a little high. Some of the lesser priced items definitely felt cheaper. I decided to go with a reclining sectional. I added a few pieces which drove the price up some more but was necessary. The coverage plan cost a lot, but seems worth it and if you don't use it, you get it back in store credit. The biggest problem I had was delivery. Unless the item is over 6k, it's 450.00 in delivery. Between the sectional, warranty, and tax I was over 6k and that didn't apply, which I was not happy with but had no other option. Time will tell the durability of the product, but it seems nice and we enjoy it for now. read more

They sent us the wrong piece for our couch and would not give us a refund or exchange because it has been past 3 days since we noticed it and contacted them. I had a furniture order delivered to my home and realized within 24 hours that one of the pieces wasn't a good fit -- it was simply too large for my space. I called the store to initiate a return, fully referencing the return policy clearly listed on Ashley's website: "If you wish to return your furniture for preference reasons within 3 days, the original delivery fee will not be refunded and a 15% restocking fee will be charged." I understood the policy and was willing to follow it. Yet when I called, the sales rep refused to help and hung up on me. Multiple times. I tried calling back thinking it was a mistake, but the same behavior continued. No willingness to listen, no explanation, no support -- just dial tones. Terrible communication and processes: On 5/29, went to Ashley to purchase a chair, spouse convinced me to purchase a bed while there. Was originally going to purchase the bed at Mattress firm as they had much better pricing on Mattresses. When I showed the rep the price comparisons between Ashley and Mattress Firm of the same Mattress, I was told that cannot be possible because the Manufacture dictates the price, not the store and they could not match the prices Mattress Firm shows on their web site. Upon purchase, set a date for bed and chair to be delivered on 6/3. Rep confirmed all was good. Saturday 5/31, received a call from Customer Service advising the chair is on BO and they did not yet have a delivery date, would I like to have the mattress delivered with the chair. Advised no, keep the mattress on original scheduled delivery of 6/3. CS Confirmed and advised they would contact me when chair was back in stock. 30 minutes later, get a call from Customer Service advising the chair is back ordered. Advised CS Rep that I had just received the same call 30 minutes earlier and he was surprised to hear that. He did however provide a delivery date 6/10 for the chair. AGAIN, keep mattress on original delivery of 6/3. Mattress delivery 6/3, have not heard from Ashley since the call on 5/31, so at 10:00 was getting concerned. Contacted Customer service who informs me that the mattress and chair are to be delivered on 6/10 and there was nothing they could do to assist. Attempted to call store, discovered they are not open yet. Called CS again and was again given the delivery date of 6/10. When asked how the original delivery date of 6/3 for the mattress was changed, was advised that the date of 6/10 was all it showed and they could do nothing for me. Rather annoyed to say the least, went to store, met a VERY professional, patient and empathetic young lady, Brie, who once I explained the situation immediately started looking at how she could help. Told me that she would do all she could and contact me. Later that afternoon, Brie confirmed Mattress would be delivered 6/5 and chair was still good for 6/10. Thank you Brie, YOU rock. YOu are the only reason there I gave a 2 star!! On 6/5, SURPRISE...Mattress AND chair arrive. So, will I do business here again, not likley as how does one expect a customer to want to do business with an organization that can not even communicate internally correctly or when a customer calls for help, is told told there is nothing we can do for you? Total lack of concern for the customer especially given the error was due to poor communication and processes on Ashley's part. If not for the awesome support of Brie, I would have canceled my entire order on 6/3. I can only hope I have no problems with the products as I am certain Ashley will not stand behind the product or the sale. read more

I was at the store yesterday with my family looking for a living room set. There were around 10 different staff members looking around and asking people if they needed help with anything, but Not one came to us asking us if we needed help. When a white family came in 3 staff members came to them and asked them if they needed help. When an Asian couple came in another 2 staff members came to ask them if they needed help. I didn't want to make to make a big deal about it, but just because we are Hispanic doesn't mean we get to be treated any different. It really bothered us, so we went elsewhere with our business and got the same set We saw at Ashley's, just at a store where we Did Not need to be felt uncomfortable. For your information I just bought 4 bedroom sets at another Ashley's store all cash. Just in case they thought we couldn't afford to buy anything at this store. I spent over $1,300 on a bed from Ashley Furniture and it's been a nightmare ever since. The bed arrived damaged on delivery, so they replaced it but that took a month. Then, within weeks, the new bed broke again. The side piece literally burst, and the center wood support cracked in half out of nowhere. It took another month just to get a technician scheduled, and even then, they didn't send all the parts needed to repair it. Now I'm still waiting, two months later, and have been sleeping on the floor this entire time. Absolutely ridiculous for how much I paid. To make it worse, customer service is outsourced overseas. Every time I call, I'm transferred to someone who barely understands my issue, and there's zero accountability. When I finally got through to ask about the missing part, they told me it had been "delivered" yet it had been sitting there for two weeks with no one calling to schedule a repair. Beware: Ashley doesn't stand behind their products, and their customer service is beyond frustrating. Their furniture all comes from the same factories as other budget stores you're just paying for the name. Pretty disappointed with my experience. I was supposed to receive my kitchen table from Ashley today. Yesterday, I got a text confirming my delivery and the timeframe they'd be arriving. On the actual delivery day, during the delivery window, I was suddenly told the table is backordered and won't arrive for another two weeks. If the table was backordered, that's something the company should have known days (if not weeks) earlier. Not the day it was supposed to arrive. All the store representatives including the sales person Leonardo Amilpa who was dishonest with providing information about their return policies (that is illegal in California, checked with a lawyer) and store terms & conditions. Through the delivery guys that pressured me to sign without sawing me what I'm signing for. Recently bought Living room table and end tables from Ashley. Delivery and setup were extremely late. I inspected the furniture and signed off only to find the the bottom of the end table was completely blown out. The delivery people passed this off as good. Heck, they carried it in. They would have known. Upon calling Ashley Furniture they were nice enough, somewhat understanding and after pictures were sent they dispatched a repair person 1 week later. Repair person shows up and says he can't fix it. Ya. They sent out the parts needed to repair and upon further inspection the whole bottom of the end table was crushed. It took until March to get a service person out for something that is covered under warranty for five years. They told me the part would be in seven to ten business days. We are now a month out, I have made several calls where I get different answers every time. Yikes - all of the 1 star reviews were a bit scary initially but decided to give it a try anyway. Partner and I were looking for a power recliner sofa for our new home and the wait times for other places were 6-12 months and more $$$ due to customization. The showroom is really nice and displayed a ton of home stuff for every area, indoor and outdoor. There were several reps in the store that offered assistance and we got some good info from Taylor, who was pretty busy as well. We ended up purchasing the Erlangen Midnight recliner sofa 3 piece set. It was very comfy, would match our living room nicely and we loved the power recliner, cup holder, mini storage, USB outlet. We got the 5 year warranty and delivery date was at the end of the week- wow! Super impressed with the promptness. Taylor explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. Afterwards, we got consistent email and text reminders about the couch delivery, which I appreciated. The delivery guys arrived in the expected time window, wore the shoe covers I provided, and set up quickly. Their quality is pretty good Id say its dependent on a case by case item basis. We had to furnish our new apartment so we just got the big stuff - a couch, bar stools, and a bed frame. We happen to stumble on a buy more save more deal and ended up getting 15% off which saved us like $400+ Vince (store rep but maybe a manager too?) was suuuper helpful. Come delivery day he was our point of contact to ensure a smooth delivery. The guys delivered it and assembled everything free of charge. Overall enjoyed my experience. read more

And also proceeded to say they will charge an extra $300 for each couch if they wanted electric. When we called, we received an automated recording saying it would be arriving May 7th. No call to cancel today, nothing. Very disappointed in the customer service.
