Had a beyond amazing experience! My mom has been searching for a new dining set and we've gone to pretty much every furniture store in the area with no luck (absurd prices, bad selection, slimy sales tactics). We came to Furniture Today yesterday and immediately fell in love with a dining set and a hutch. The prices were great, Scott (owner) helped us and was really friendly and straight to the point. We were in and out, furniture came the very next day. My mom reported back that the delivery guys were extremely friendly and respectful, made sure her doorways weren't damaged and that her floors weren't scratched. Nice people, great product! This is a little hole in the wall place in back side of the Park-and-Shop shopping center that we have driven pask 10,000 times. We bought our new couches here on the recommendation of a friend and were super happy with the result. The saleswoman (also one of the owners, I think) was really knowledgeable and helpful. Zero pressure, just focused on making sure that we were happy. What she sold us was American made, made to order, and really came out gorgeous. Firm, but comfortable. Seems to be really sturdy, too, so we are expecting it to last. We paid more than we would at, say, Ikea, but not so much that we had second thoughts and the difference in quality is no contest. This seems to be the kind of thing where you really do get what you pay for. read more

Bought dining table, delivered damaged. Called the same day furniture delivered regarding damages. CSR said it would be two weeks until a representative would be able to come and look at damages. Wanted the furniture either replaced or refund. Ashley store said the have no refund policy. How is it that I purchased something new and received damaged furniture and no return? I'm so happy to have had such a wonderful experience with this small business/family owned store! I came into the shop a little over a month ago to seek out their sofa beds after having had a horrible experience with another furniture company in the local area. I was immediately greeted and helped by Nina who was super informative and sweet. I was impressed with the quality of the furniture displayed at the store and decided to order a custom-built double sized sofa bed. I let Nina know we would need the sofa bed before Thanksgiving and she was super accommodating, promising me that we would have it in by then. She said the process of building and delivering furniture takes around 4-5 weeks. Within three weeks I got the call from Nina that our sofa bed was ready to be delivered the upcoming Thursday (FYI--they do their deliveries on Thursdays). The delivery experience was wonderful. There was great communication on their behalf and no hassle whatsoever! Deliverymen were careful and prompt. My family and I are super happy with our sofa bed.They even gave us two complimentary throw pillows and let us pick the fabric. The amount of care and effort put into their craft is evident. When they were in the Park n' Shop location, we had bought a couch and love seat. I'm pretty sure it was the owner and an employee delivering our purchase a couple of weeks later. We lived on the second floor of a condo, and the "boss" was visibly upset that they had to traverse stairs, in the rain. Yeah, that's no fun, but maybe try to be just a tad bit appreciative that we spent hard earned money in your store. It was like how dare we live somewhere that made it difficult to deliver to. I'm guessing one of his delivery drivers called in sick or something. Boo hoo.. not done yet! A few years later, a furniture today truck cut me off in traffic, driving like a complete moron. I got up next to him at a red light and looked over at him, and said "nice way to drive for the company that signs your paycheck". He said, "yeah, well I own the company. You want to pull over and do something about it?" Unbelievable.. ever since then, I tell everyone that I possibly can to NOT shop there. I wanted a new bedroom set and my sister & I both needed new mattresses. I am so happy I went here instead of buying online. First of all, the bedroom set is made of solid wood, not particle board. It was custom made and is beautiful. I love it! The mattress I bought was not firm enough for me. Ken let me choose a different one and exchanged it. I love the firmness of my new mattress. It is so comfortable. Delivery was quick, only took a few days because my bedroom set was being created. My side tables were custom made and turned out even nicer than I thought they would. OMG Customer Service SUCKS!! My delivery was to be anywhere between 11-4 (yeah dont u love that time frame!!) On that day they called me and told me that they will be there in 20 minutes..yikes what happened to calling 23 hours before..and at that time i was due to pick my kid up at early noon dismissal..told them to wait and they were saying if we cannot deliver today then u wait next week!! geez..so i told them to hang on while I arranged something..10 minutes later I called them back to tell them its okie to come but they said pls call the office..can u believe that!! We purchased a sofa and love seat set about a year ago; they have a small selection at their location. We did, however like one of the options and had a lengthy conversation about fabrics. After learning that our first pick wasn't available, we picked a "second choice". They are not great at acknowledging the fact that they can't offer we warranties as they buy directly from manufacturers. The sofa is big & beautiful & comfy & affordable. I was able to pay 1/2 the cost upfront & the other upon delivery. I forget our sales lady's name but she was wonderful & patient. I was able to verbalize what I was envisioning as my new (first sofa I ever bought myself) sofa & she found exactly what I wanted (after some eliminating) for the price I was willing to spend. I'd like to say it was at about $1500, not sure since its been several months since I purchased. But other than the factory's promised delivery time delay... I am very pleased. Bad experience with this shop. They cheated us with wrong product information, slow delivery, and the worst thing was when I figured out the material was not what I want(solid wood) when they finally delivered to my house, they refused me to reject the product delivery in the first place. After a small argument, they accepted and promised would give us refund. But finally they ate their words and deducted us $49 which should be $349 claiming that's our response for the cancellation when it's something they should fixed. Over all, not a good place to shop at all, won't do business with them ever again. read more

Bought a King bed two months ago. It was installed by their guys and at the time I was concerned as they had no support at the end of the bed. The guy said oh it will be fine. He couldn't get the piece to fit correctly so he just made it work. Well the bed collapsed today, it's broken and 3 of the 4 thin wooden slats are damaged. My boyfriend and I only stay here once and awhile not everyday, there is no reason the bed should have broken in 2 months with normal use. read more

My husband and I went to quite a few furniture stores in Concord. By far, the customer service, price, and overall ambience of this store set it apart in a good way. I think this is a family owned business. We spoke with both the daughter and father. They are very gracious and not pushy sales people at all. The prices are reasonable, not Ikea cheap, but fair, and the furniture quality is very good. I would definitely buy from them again when the need arises. They were really helpful, patient, and friendly while we tried to figure out what kind of couch to would fit. Went out of their way to deliver to our house which is pretty hard to get to (It's a long walk from the driveway).
