Hidden gem! Loved this place. There were so many choices of food. The food was super authentic and plentiful. I was confused on some of the options on different days. They offered more things but only certain days. We'll have to check it out. The service was not great. The servers tip share so he was not very attentive. Overall experience was decent. For a Mexican buffet, it's not bad. Lots to choose from! Food was okay for buffet style. Maybe not to my full liking but, thats personal preference. Meat and grill was kind of dry, some of the food was stale or was on the cooker for longer than it should. But overall food variety was plenty. some of the best food i've had this year went here as my bf said he's been before and loved it and I haven't had much colombian food and I was blown away. it is definitely a heavier meal but the food is so good and flavorful. we had an empanada, he got their signature plate (his go to) and I had the other pictured plate. like even the fries were especially crispy like idk how they do it but it's great.. I yelped this spot n the reviews where good so I decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is ok for what it is. The food was warm and fresh and the seevice was attentive. Price varies depending on when you go. Also they have a special of the day, so look out for that. On Saturdays their special is carne asada and sausage link. You can go up there and they will give you unlimited until ur stuff lol. Bathroom could be better, but again for what type of place this is, you cant ask for much. I think the price is worth the food, just make sure to go hungry. Ive been there twice, this last time our waitress never came n i waited for a while without service so i asked another worker if he could get me water and he offered to attend our table. We found this buffet on TikTok and drove to the Carrollton location, as the Grand Prairie location is always packed. This location seems bigger. First time impression, overwhelmingly huge selection, whatever you're craving, they have it! Starting with the shrimp cocktail, oh my goodness sooo good! The carnitas were also delicious. I was a little disappointed that the flour tortillas were not made in house, but the corn ones were. The other thing that did not live up to the hype was the "aguas frescas". We ordered "agua de limón" and it tasted more like a Hi-C limonade. Definitely was not an "agua fresca". The pan dulce selection, was not like the video we saw. It was a small basket with a very limited selection. The atmosphere is alright but if you love traditional Mexican dishes that you only find in Mexico or in your grandmas kitchen, this is the place to go. I had a pretty good experience here. I was surprised at all the options. No tex mex here which was really nice. During lent they have mojarras which is my fave. They did good on those. The tortillas are bomb. The soups are ok. The elotes are yum! The food was all mislabeled which was kind of hilarious. Didn't bug me so much because I kinda know what it all is but I can see that being a problem for some. The service was great! Very attentive servers. We never needed anything. It just wasn't for me. I had seen Joel Hansen's YouTube video and the place looked like something I would enjoy. Guess I'm more of a TexMex person and I think the food was more straight up Mexican food. I may give it another try someday as they had a very good variety and the place looked well kept/clean. This place should get anywhere between a 3-4. It's a buffet, so typically buffets are hard to review. Our friend was in town and he had a big appetite. We wanted to try this place out because we always drove by it for a few years now. When you first enter, it's a really big restaurant. You pay before getting seated. Service was really good. He got our drinks and brought us warm tortillas. Always was attentive and came to get the unused plates. For a Mexican buffet, this place has everything. The only downside is that the clean plates were a bit dirty. Wife also thinks the dessert options can be better. They have a huge candy bar, but no ice cream. This review is for the Garland location that just opened recently. My husband and I went for lunch today (Saturday). First, let me warn you that it costs $30 per person. Yes it does include your drink. Secondly, I wanted to make a taco salad or crunchy tacos and they did not offer the normal taco shells or taco bowl and I didn't find the taco meat either. I had the beef fajitas and they did not beef was chewy and tough for my liking. I had the chicken fajitas and they were ok. I was very disappointed that they did not have avocado or guacamole for my fajitas. I ended up getting the carne asada and it was ok. I did not try anything else because I don't know what is spicy or not. I cannot tolerate spicy food. The I cream was the best part for me. And the chips My husband did not complain because he can eat spicy food. We both agreed that we tried it however the price is steep for what they offer. We will not be back. read more

BEWARE !!! Hacienda Buffet refuses to post prices when you pay. The price is arbitrary depending on how they feel. The manager states the don't show the price when you enter. She stated they don't put anything on the internet so whatever you read is suspect. The buffet is OK but for the price I would have expected guacamole and flan. It'snot worth $25+ for a buffet. The price was pretty high. $20 a person plus tax. Rice and beans were bomb and might go back just for those. Everything else like the chicken, beef, and pork chops were very dry. Im a shrimp guy and the fried shrimp was okay. Got one refill on my drink at the very end when i was almost done. They had some halloween decor which was nice. The booths are not made for big people lol. I'm barely chubby and i had to push the table back everytime to get up. Overall average. English isn't the primary language spoken, but wasn't a issue. We came for dinner on Sunday and the place was popping! They can accommodate any size party it seemed. Look... it's definitely not Tex-mex. To me, it's way more authentic than you get at a typical big box Mexican restaurant. Imagine going into a small taqueria and having a huge selection you can serve yourself. The corn tortillas are killer! Pozole, menudo, caldo de rez, it just doesn't end. Picadillo rojo, picadillo en salsa verde, fajitas en chile de arbol, hue os ahogadas, tamales... it doesn't stop there. As someone who loves non-Tex-mex, this was heaven for me. I have completed these Hacienda(s) buffet currently in Carrollton on Beltline... Welp, it started off with a phone call. Called and the young lady spoke in Spanish and I only speak enough to get in trouble, so I asked for someone who could. Then the phone hung up. NOW I'm livid at this point, so I called back only to have the same results, then I called on my other number and finally the young lady answered and then I asked for the manager, manager gets on the phone and was very nice... I asked my questions and hung up... Now wifey and I went to the establishment and wayyyyy better than the others ( look them up)... We asked to speak to the manager that I spoke to on the phone. The manager was polite and we ( wife and I) both complained about the phone incident and demanded so training her front staff and the phone and if she doesn't speak English then found someone that do... Its most attractive feature is being in the same parking lot as DMV so if you need ti get your vehicle title and want to eat to wait out traffic, that's the offer.
