Turned out it has the best chips and salsa appetizer. The different kinds of salsa were served in small tin 'buckets on a round tray with the spicy chips in the middle. The owner or the manager of this restaurant was very very nice. The waiter was also very patient and very kind. The foods were superb, I ordered vegetarian queso with mushroom (quesabrosa vegetariana). My husband ordered 3 types of meats that he couldn't finish, so we brought it to hotel. For the drink, don't forget to try their fresh squeezed lime juice. We love their food, definitely will come back to eat here again.

The server asked if I wanted tajin or sugar. Once I confirm tajin, I was soon surprised to see just how large the tall order of the virgin daiquiri drink was. After sitting at the bar, making friends with the bartender, as I watched him pour ounces of tequila and syrupy, margaritas, we had a friendly conversation, and then my check came. To my surprise that hour and a half of peace and sunlight cost me $30 instead of $8, because the server claimed that I ordered a daiquiri mango, not a virgin daiquiri. We went back and forth for quite some time until ultimately, I just gave in and paid because it did not seem as though any sort of resolution would be made. To say that I am displeased is an understatement, because you need to certainly confirm that someone is ordering alcohol or not. There's all sorts of risk at play by accidentally serving someone alcohol, might I add, there was not an apparent alcohol taste whatsoever in the drink. So the entire time I sat there, I thought it was a non alcoholic daiquiri. This was a sour ending to an otherwise, very relaxing solo vacation in Cancun.
