My family and I travel enough that we are used to visiting Delta lounges. Yes, we are fortunate and grateful. It does bring a level of experience when visiting business lounges. Delta's is top notch. Mera is very much meh and a bit of ick. The good: so much quieter than being in the general terminal at the airport. Food & beverage is complimentary with your $50 usd entrance fee. We figured we would pay that for food and drink at the nearby Margaritaville but since the hotel made us get to the airport 3 hours early and we were through customs quickly we wanted a comfortable place to chill. The WiFi is great and part of the entrance fee. Bathrooms are clean. Good selection of food but not high quality. The bad: could not find any water, anywhere ever. All sorts of liquor, soda, juice, etc. water no where to be found. The furniture it dirty and gross. It's just stained and worn from use. The team is diligently cleaning and tidying but they can't fix what is worn and stained. Bathrooms are soooo small. 1 person can go in and it's cramped. If I were to suggest this to anyone; it would be for the peace and quiet and WiFi. Don't go in expecting the delta experience or high quality food or drinks. read more

The Mera lounge is right behind security at the Cancun terminal 3 airport. It's generally ok but there are some rough edges. I recommend getting a pass ahead of time on a site like Expedia or TripAdvisor because the walk in line can be long. The place is clean and the staff is friendly but it's not VIP or luxury in any possible definition. The seats are slightly more comfortable than the regular airport seats. The WiFi is good and the drink selection is decent. The biggest problems include the crowds, the cheesy music and the lack of wall plus to charge your devices. The food is pretty mid. Everything is way too salty and sweet. It's borderline inedible. Is it worth $35-45/pp? Barely. read more

I travel in and out of Cancun on a regular basis. I truly consider the MERA Business Lounge located in terminal 3 as an idyllic oasis. The staff are always very attentive and welcoming and it's truly a pleasure when they greet you with your first name. The lounge offers hot meals morning, noon and night as well as an open bar and refreshments. Mera Business Lounge in Terminal 3 at Cancun International Airport is located right after Duty Free (Turn right and right again) for a comfortable and relaxing space for travelers to unwind before their flight... If you can get in. We were Monday around noon and the airport was CRAZY. There was a line out the door, people getting rejected left and right. When we finally got into the end, waiting about 15 minutes, they said the wait was 90 minutes. We waited an hour, got back in line and then they allowed us to come in. I can see why people would get frustrated. NO PRIORITY PASS HERE: They accept Capital One Venture, Venture X, and America Express Platinum Cards Only. Other then that, once inside, it was what I expected for a lounge. Offering a variety of amenities, including comfortable assigned seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, Wi-Fi, and coffee. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the lounge is always clean and well-maintained. Be sure to leave a tip, they deserve it. It wasn't too crowded inside, so I see why there is a line, probably for marketing for "exclusivity" Unfortunately you can't bring out any soda, fruits, or snacks out for our flight. read more

The price you pay to stay in a lounge is 100 times much worth than paying for any regular food or coffee or water at the airport!! The people/employees were very nice/friendly and always worried and asking if it was all good, if we needed a new drink, VERY GOOD! We had a couple Mimosas (maybe like 4 or 5 each), we ate really good meals, had coffee and water (everything unlimited) that would've cost more than $100 bucks at the airport or a bar, and the total fee was just $29 each!! We utilized this lounge on our last trip to Mexico and overall it's not a bad lounge and in this case it was the only lounge in this terminal so it was great to have any place to hang out; just in comparison to most other lounges it hits about average on the rating. We arrived a few hours before our flight, exhausted our interest in duty free shopping and set to work finding a lounge to hang in for a bit. They take priority pass but only allowed us to come in an hour before our flight so we hung out in the terminal for most of our wait. Upon arriving back we were seated at comfy little booth. The lounge has an open concept seating without any hideaway nooks that I'm fond of. Lots of tvs going for easy distraction and instead of a buffet they had servers offering a few items on a menu to choose from. They had a couple of gluten free options to at least keep me from being too hungry. I enjoyed some mixed nuts and cheese and the husband of mine had a sandwich. We sipped a quick drink, I changed into comfy plane clothes in the small bathroom and it was time for us to depart. Overall it serves it's purpose, has some decent snacks, and very nice staff. read more

This is a solid lounge and the only one in United terminal. The service was quick with a pretty extensive menu for a smaller lounge. I will say that the WiFi was surprisingly fast. It seems like they are trying to reduce the number of people in the lounge as there were lots of seats available when we were finally allowed into the lounge. The food is all ala carte where you need to place your order with a member of the lounge staff even through all the food is pre prepared and just sitting out. Nothing was especially good. Would highly recommend you stay away from the sandwich as it was mediocre. The bathrooms are just one stall each leading to some wait times. What a pleasant surprise !! We were traveling with friends that have the American Express benefit package of these lounges. If you do not have one of the cards for these you can pay $33 bucks per person. Heavy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails , juices and desserts. They have some nice work tables in there and I even noticed some sleep chambers and an additional cost. We always get back to the airport early in Cancun so this will be our go to place. First time entering this lounge in the Cancún airport. Luckily they accept the priority pass, some crowded lounges do not accept it. This lounge is close to gate G20 where Delta flights are. It was pretty full upon arrival and a place to sit was very scarce. Food and drinks are plentiful. Unlimited and provided as complimentary. Lots of different food choices from small sandwiches, sushi to chips and guacamole. Drinks are also unlimited with a selection of beer, wine, sodas, coffee, and juice. If only they had coffee on tap instead of using a Nescafé single use pod machine. It takes more time to wait for a sip of coffee and by the time I got to use the machine it only shot out hot water; no coffee. I don't mean to be a fussy traveler, but traveling is tiring. Anything that makes life easier is a blessing. My negative thought about this place is the ease of access to the restroom. There's no key nor anyway to tell if anyone is inside. You know how airport restrooms are; there's always a line. I ended up having to go outside and wait in the long restroom line outside of the lounge. Also more chairs or seats would be a nice addition to the lounge. I can see how packed this place can get. I recommend stopping by for a quick drink and quick snack if you're hungry. Stopped by the Mera lounge while waiting on my flight out of Cancun. The lounge is not obvious, by the right after duty free. They're no longer part of priority pass but they do allow day passes for $29 for 3 hours. The lounge has a full bar, and substation food to order. I mostly had champagne, and we shared chicken tenders, turkey panini, tamales, and tres leches. Everything was good. They also have soups, salads, and more meat items. Mmm....this space is just too tiny. Probably one of the smallest lounges (ever?). Seating was probably enough for 50 people max. At early afternoon on a Sunday in early May the lounge was 100% full, with a wait list of about 15 people/groups and a wait of 35 minutes. We came back in about 20 minutes and was able to enter but it was difficulty find a seat. The women's bathroom was out of service leaving all the women to wait in line to use the single handicapped restroom. The food options were limited to several finger foods, but slightly above average. I was surprised they had sushi fish rolls which were decently fresh as well as fresh guacamole and chips (good job on these!). Minimal drink options--coffee, tea, some soft drinks, basic liquors. The staff was courteous and refreshing food and trying their best to keep up with the steady barrage of people coming and going. But unfortunately it was dissatisfying because of the wait, the crowded atmosphere and rushed experience. They should consider expanding the space to twice the current size. read more

We were bummed to learn that they left the Priority Pass Lounge partnership in mid-2021, but decided the $29 USD would be worth it for the unlimited booze alone. Amenities: The inside is clean and stylish, with plenty of little nooks and couches for groups of any size and lots of outlets & USB plugs available throughout. Wifi is quick and reliable. The restrooms have only one stall (really a small closet with a toilet) and are extremely dated, but kept clean and the women's restroom has a powder room area before the actual toilet area, which is nice for freshening up. No other restroom amenities available (tampons, lotions, etc.), but it was fine. Food & Drink: We opted for margaritas to continue on the party. The drinks were great, with decent brands available (Smirnoff, Bombay, Hornitos, Jack Daniels, Bacardi & Kahlua) and various wines. The food was actually quite tasty! We ordered the tamales (4/5), house salads (4/5), and Turkey sandwich (3/5). Apparently there used to be a buffet, but #covid. Service: Service was decent, but not exceptional. Our server recommended some choices and answered what questions we'd had. The lounge wasn't very crowded, so I would have expected slight more attentiveness, but we were still able to get drinks and more food easy enough. Overall, for $29, I'd highly recommend this lounge! They have some obscure website that you need to pre-book on to gain entry but I confirmed with the staff there's no AMEX code to pre-book. This means you cannot gain entry without paying. They allow people in to the lounge for 3+ hours instead on limiting time to create more space. If you're planning on using your card for entry, don't plan on it. read more

Tucked away lounge at T3 in Cancún International Airport that is worth finding to get out of the hustle and bustle of the main terminal. Sometimes long waiting lines due to being a Priority Pass site in addition to honoring a number of they passes, etc. Kinda pricey if you don't have a pass. If using Priority Pass then definitely make sure you have the app on your device as they had major issues with scanning your physical card. A number of fairly comfortable seating areas. Nice spots to listen to Audible or some music or get some needed work accomplished. Food was pretty good. Nice little coffee station and assortment of beer and wine was welcomed pre flight. Bathroom was a bit small and nearest one in terminal was a ways away. Plan ahead. Definitely a nice place to check out before your flight. Business / VIP lounge here is very small and doesn't offer what most do. Bathroom - Small single user restroom stalls. Seating - Decent seating if no one is in the lounge to enjoy the couches. The wear and tear is showing, so are the stains - Single bathroom for each gender. Just be kind to their septic system and don't flush the paper (according to bathroom sign) + TVs through out the lounge + decent WiFi + small food options and open bar. If you have food allergies, there really are no options. + outlets through out, USB and standard mix. The lounge was packed but I guess it was better than not getting in at all. Our group of 6 manages to grab one of the last tables. They have a not bad selection of food, (I've had worse at lounges) including mini turkey croissant sandwiches, guacamole, and fruit. They also had chicken tenders (terrible) and some not-appetizing-looking pasta. The bar is not self-serve - they had a guy protecting the little table like it was Fort Knox. Not that I was in any mood to drink after a bachelorette weekend, but still. They don't have bottles of water so make sure you bring your own to refill. This lounge has really improved since the last time we visited. The food selection is much better and now includes sandwiches, sushi, hot noodles and other items. Beer, wine and liquor are complimentary, but subtract 1* for the bottom shelf liquor. Service is excellent and staff is very friendly. On the minus side, the lounge does not have the space to accommodate the hordes of travelers with PP cards, so there was a 40 minute wait list on Saturday afternoon. Maybe not as long on non-peak dates and times. Overall worth a visit to escape the crowds at CUN though certainly nobody will go home raving about this place. read more

This lounge is in Cancun Airport's T3, a little bit hidden, all the way to the left of the main cluster of shops in the terminal. Free for Priority Pass holders, so it gets crowded. It can be hard to snag the good seating here. Fresh juices and okay food - eggs, bacon, chilaquiles, pastries, and cereal were on offer when we visited. Still, given how unpleasant Cancun Airport was when I was there (full of screaming children and not very nice to look at) - this lounge provided us with a bit of a tranquility. read more

I think this is one did the worst lounges I have ever been to. It was dirty, disorganized and messy in every aspect of it. However I do have to say they have really good coffee. There is another lounge that is next to this one who is also covered with priority pass. I was helped by a nice gentleman upon arrival. I went to sit and some area in the back is basically blocked! I don't know why. Then there were some open seats and all had dirty dishes there seemed to be sitting there for a while. I asked them to clean it and they did. The food was not appealing at all!! Drinks they had a variety. Bathroom was disgusting and smelly, I went next door to the bathroom and this bathroom here was closed for a while saying "it's being cleaned" and there is only one bathroom. I'm not a fan of this lounge and have to say it's the worst I have ever been to! Don't recommend coming here I would go next door even though they were rude! Not the worst lounge I've ever been to but definitely nothing special. It was not at all crowded early in the morning when we arrived so the seating options were plentiful but the lounge is not very big so I can imagine it would be very crowded at most times of the day, especially since they accept Priority Pass wish everyone and their mother seems to have these days (myself included!). Having hot food available puts it above some of the other lounges I've been to but the quality of that food leaves much to be desired. The staff seems limited and the cleanliness of the lounge is a reflection of that. The bathrooms are single occupancy only which seems like it might be an issue if more people are in the lounge. There are no showers in this lounge, in case you were hoping to rinse off pre-flight (sometimes a necessary courtesy to your seat mates if you've been out in the sun all day!). On the plus side there are tons of outlets for charging! All in all it's nice to have a spot to hang out in before boarding but nothing that will blow you're socks off. read more

Went to this lounge (Priority Pass holder) in Terminal 3 @ CUN airport. PROS: 1 Nice food selection & decent quality. 2 WiFi speed was good. CONS: 1 LOUD!!: The small size of lounge combined w/ the hard surface floors/walls meant was so much noise. Add a few crying babies in mix & wife & I decided general seating in terminal would have been quieter! This was loudest lounge I have been to anywhere (& I've been in airport lounges all over the world). 2 BATHROOM: Men's room had only one stall & was OUT OF ORDER. 3 SIZE: This lounge is tiny...probably smallest of anywhere in the world. And I "think" is only lounge in terminal 3 (quite a busy terminal!) so was completely full the whole 1.5 hours we were in there. Unfortunately no other lounge choices so this is pretty much "take it or leave it" if you in Terminal 3 but could use some improving for sure. read more
