Prior to getting married, I was glued to a show called "Platinum Weddings". The wedding that caught my eye involved a cave reception in a Mayan ruin...The cave was surrounded by crystal blue water and it could fit up to 400 people or still be intimate enough for 75. I made it my quest to find the coordinators for this event. I found SOLEN, the "Event Masterminds"...and what a gem of a find. I spoke with Claudia Alanis Rios who immediately won me over. She is very professional, honest, sweet, detail-oriented, loves her job and is extremely creative. She takes your ideas and makes them a reality greater than what you could have ever imagined. She surprised me with extra little perks that she knew would just melt my heart, never charging me an extra penny and just doing it because she knew it would add a special touch. She helped me with ideas that I never knew were even possible. The biggest perk is that she studied in San Diego, she is a chef and a wine aficionado. She speaks perfect english and has impeccable taste. Planning a wedding in Mexico from the US is very difficult, especially when you want something that is a little non-conventional and unique (like a cave wedding). You don't know vendors, you can't really strike a bargain from afar and you want someone like a David Tutera that you can trust to just make it all happen. I never stressed. Claudia kept me posted almost daily about all the details...and she stressed for me. I only traveled to Mexico once for a food tasting and to pick table settings and flowers....the rest which included: coordinating lodging for all of my guests, airport travel, shuttles to the wedding, rehearsal dinner, cocktail party, post-wedding catamaran snorkeling cruise....was all handled by SOLEN and if you can believe it...the amount of money that I spend for one week in Mexico for the wedding, my family's travel, their hotel stay and post wedding fun was equivalent to what I would have spent for a one day wedding in Los Angeles. I can go on and on. Contact them if you are considering getting married essentially anywhere in Mexico, they have contacts everywhere. Best part about it, they don't just coordinate weddings...they are the "go-to" planners for many corporate events & concerts. They recently coordinated all the events for "Bachelor in Paradise" which took place in Tulum. You will not be disappointed. -Elena

We had a group of 11 family members and rented the entire place for the day. There are several comfortable areas to relax and socialize with chairs, hammocks, swings. They arranged a catering service that provided a great Mexican lunch, plus you can bring your own food and beverages. Everyone enjoyed this special place.

We ordered drinks beachside and everything was delicious, the lobster was super fresh, and came out quickly. Lunch was great as well. The service was fantastic. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and always checked on us without being overbearing. They made us feel welcome from the moment we got there. Sometimes all inclusive hotels can feel gimmicky, like being on a cruise ship or something. This was not that at all. This was a high end experience from start to finish. The hotel service and facilities are impeccable. I was blown away by the care they take to tend to each guest. I was only there for a few days and people took the effort to learn my name and my personal preferences. To start, the room was incredible. I stayed in a suite and it had a juccuzi right inside the room and an ocean view with a hammock. The room also came with a mini bar which was restocked daily (although you could also call and request anything at any time). Every day they had a different schedule of activities for guests with quality entertainment (not tacky acts). They had all all white party with a circus one day which was fun, a foam party, bull riding and more. The food deserves its own review. It exceed my expectations by a lot. They had several food options to choose from, including an Asian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, a mexican restaurant a cafe and a global buffet. The restaurants were all open extended hours until 10 or 10:30 so there were always food options available. The global buffet did different themed dinners every night. Of the restaurants, I liked all but I'd say the Mediterranean was the most high quality. The preparation and taste was on par with any top NYC restaurant. The octopus dish was especially memorable. Second favorite was probably the Mexican restaurant. They have a chef from Oaxaca who makes a great mole. At each restaurant, the managers always made an effort to stop by my table to make sure I had what I needed. The employees genuinely care about serving you and they do it gladly. Sometimes you go to places where the employees are disgruntled or have a bad attitude. Not the case here at all. Everyone seemed generally happy and in a good mood. It felt like most of the people here were celebrating something, whether a bachelorette party or birthday, but it didn't feel overall raucous or anything. They had a silent disco one night and I think that also helped with any potential late night noise issues. I was really impressed with how well curated the schedule of activities was. Additionally, the hotel was very clean. When I first got in, people were mopping. They're constantly changing pool towels that are left out. Everything was spotless. The sheets were crisp and white. My room was changed to my liking. No complaints. One of the better places I've stayed. I would definitely come back in a heart beat. I loved it here!

Definitely I looked forward to every morning! Habanero - Rafael M., we saw him on our last day. But never have I ever seen anyone so hard in such hot weather and be grateful to meet, greet, serve so many people and still put a smile on his face. If we went the beginning of our trip, I don't doubt we would have been there every single day because of him! The Spa - CESAR! Sofia and Sara are the people you need to cross paths. Cesar is the one who got us in. Never did he rush us, he wanted us to enjoy our time at the pool and he circled back with kindness. And that's the only reason why we committed to the spa! Sofia and Sara were our people at the Spa, and boy did they put in work! I felt so relaxed and decompressed at the end of our trip because of them!!! Tradewinds - Araceli, the one who made our last day special. I told her it was our last day, and she brought the whole staff to sing and had us wear a big sombrero! It was so heartwarming and it made my heart sink, and did not make me want to leave!! The French restaurant is also a must! Loved the potato leek soup and the lamb rack. The Italian restaurant had amazing cheese mushroom pizza! I've been to Hyatt Los Cabo's, and the one thing Cancun didn't have was to go boxes due to regulations. The dolphins are such a cute thing to wake up to and was such a nice thing to do for family and people! We stayed at the Turquoise building. Loved the bath outside the room! It was my birthday, and my boyfriend and the staff really made it beyond special. From roses to balloons, to cards, to the simplest reminder of all them knowing it was my birthday and wishing me the best. You will hear a lot of, welcome family or hi family. And by the end of the trip, you will really feel that they really did become your family. 100/100 recommend this place!!!

There are several restaurants with different cuisines and lots of fun activities throughout the day. The staff is so kind and accommodating, and my suite was beautiful. There are several different activities every day to meet everyone everyone's need from kids to adults. This place is ADA friendly and has a lot of water activities to choose from.
