My main hangups here and way I only gave 3 stars is; #1 The parking lot's horrendous design, especially in order to exit out you, have to compete with cars coming from all 4 directions to get on the main road to leave the parking lot by risk life and limb. So bad that I have ovoilded coming here and would drive 8 extra miles to get to the stores and restaurants in Paramus. #2 Is New Jersey's antiquated Blue Laws where on Sunday you can get groceries, and a bottle of Voka but not buy a paintbrush or a pair of socks.

My personal favorites here are Eemas Cuisine and Cafe Anello / Sogno Coffee. This is a great alternative to a cramped cafe if you need to get work done. There's large table spaces, good internet connection and a cafe. I've been using this space as a work space since opening and everyone is super friendly. If you're shopping, the Jersey City oddities market has a pop up boutique here with a bunch of really curious items, as well as Spura Home, and For Ari For You Jewelry. These vendors don't have actual restaurants and this is their chance to show off what makes them special which usually means prime customer service and high quality food. This is a great spot for meet ups, first dates, play dates, and everything in between. I've been here a few times since they opened in April. I think I've tried everything so far: Hawaiian, Filipino, Japanese, Italian, Jamaican, and THEE MOST AMAZING BROWNIES that I've ever had. I highly recommend it if you are in the area. You can come to shop at the nearby mall--there's a Target, Marshalls, Burlington, Starbucks, a taco shop, an Acme, and much more. You could come here first to exercise or simply enjoy the view of the Hudson and the tranquility, and then do your shopping--or vice versa. It comes highly recommended. I'm not sure who manages this place--whether it's the state government or someone else--but it is very well maintained, with plenty of trash cans and benches for enjoying the view. It's Free. The plaza is split into threee separate sections. There are plenty of parking spots all around the plaza. It provides great value to locals as they can buy food, drinks, and some the services from here. The plaza is mostly clean and well paved. Easy to drive between parking lots. There are multiple entrances. Couple of store locations are unoccupied that have odd appearance. But overall it is very popular among the locals.

I wish I visited that mall, but thank goodness for old photos and memories. The facility looks very nice with many high-end and upscale stores, which you'll find in other outdoor malls as well. Most of the stores I saw outside have a great variety to choose from, with so much to offer. Although that may be true, some of the upscale stuff may not be eye-appealing to some, but everyone's taste is different. There are a couple of retail stores that ring a bell, such as Gap, At Home Furniture, Loft, Bath & Bath Body Works, and Stop & Shop. While exploring, they also provide entertainment, and also dining as an alternative of a number to pick. It's easy to get around, and a map is provided in different areas of the place, which is not hard to miss. In its condition, I see The Shops thriving in the years to come. I wouldn't consider it the place of returning to any time soon due to how far I am, and also my interests in terms of stores. On the flip slide, the changes that occur are what draw my attention, and will be back to observe for that purpose (along with other Shops and Malls).
