Just about fell out of my chair when I heard the price. I'm sure they do a good job, but $795 is way more than most people can afford for such a small and simple job for any electrician. I ended up going with Lighting and Electrical out of Tustin. They installed the outlet, patched, and texturized for $295.

He stated Our appointment did include installing the new ceiling fan and the installer is fairly new with the company and he should have installed it that day. So after Stephan explained the situation I now know it was not the fault of the company. Sadly this new installer decided to make his own decision that hurt the company's reputation. I am willing to give O'Hagan Electric another chance. O'Hagan Electric wants to make up for what happened and gain my trust as a customer. UPDATE#2 Tristynn arrived within 10 minutes of my 2 hour window for my appointment. He text me to say he was on his way. Turned out to be a tripped breaker that wasn't obvious because of the safety bracket on the breaker. Wanted to convert an outdoor CFL fixture to LED. Instead of selling me a much bigger job, they explained I could simply use LED bulbs that plug into the existing CFL sockets. What could've easily turned into a several hundred dollar bill ended up being around $100. Really appreciate companies that still do right by their customers instead of looking for every opportunity to upsell. Great communication, honest advice, and quality work. Highly recommend.

We finally went to the wall mount for our old Tesla S that was charging with the wall plug. We already have 240 Volt outlet there. Hi Power Electric was the original contract electrical worker who worked on placing the plug in our driveway and it served us well for the past ten years. But Tesla Wall Mounted Charger is so convenient and we bought the $550 Universal Fast Charger with 40 Amp charger that can charge Hyundai Electric Vehicle if we do decide to upgrade in the future. I doubt that we will replace our beloved Tesla S from the best years of their initial production years from 2015! These two gentlemen are father and the son team and really do the best job. They are certified Tesla technicians and also know their craft very well. The labor charges are very reasonable and the son knows all about the newest Tesla technologies. At this point, it was getting ridiculous, but I complied, I was trying to help the guy out, and get off his list. Then he starts cussing at me. I blocked him. What a jerk. I'm telling you, I was never anything but kind and helpful to him, the only thing I did "wrong" was ask him for a custom quote (which he never gave me, because he clearly still had no idea what work I'd asked him to do - he only gave me his 3 hour minimum shtick) and later had the courtesy to tell him that I'd hired someone else. The Good: Hank is a good guy and he works hard. Does a good job on things within his capacity…read more The Bad: He is NOT well versed in Tesla Wall Chargers. He can install it onto the wall but made wrong assessment s of the gauge of the wiring when all he needed to do was turn the dial to adjust the mode. He doesn't like to read the instructions even on items that he doesn't fully comprehend. Therefore, I would avoid using him on the electrical side. The Ugly: Hank is impulsive. I understood he is an older gentleman and it's hot in the garage but he kept dropping profanity like skittles even when the kids are closer by. Additionally he acts before he thinks. He ripped open the Tesla Wall Charger box before he even agreed to install it so return became impossible. Then he proceeded to "renegotiate" the cost of install because he had installed one earlier but took it off deeming the charger and wiring to not work when it was his lack of knowledge to change the settings. He kept flipping between getting paid by the job and getting paid by the effort spent. I ended up paying him for the lift that was complete at his "job minimum," which was higher than his original and renegotiated quote for that job, but did not pay for the rest of the job not done. This was not a pleasant experience. Bottomline, Hank installed the storage lift well so I was pretty happy with that. He is a good installer and a good man who seems to have a lot going on. However, the constant renegotiation, miscommunication, attitude, and lack of expertise made this a rough experience. Overall 2/5 for effort, but I would not recommend his services.
