I chose Electric Medics to upgrade our electrical panel (and a few other things) based on rave 5-star YELP reviews and I was not disappointed! These folks are top notch! These electricians are friendly, detail oriented, extremely knowledgeable, and competent. The process took a few weeks due to permits and inspections, but that is to be expected. Once the job got started, the communication between EM and me, the customer, was fantastic (a hat tip to Kristina!). I always was given a heads-up as to when the electricians would be working and they were always on time. The results speak for themselves. My panel is unbelievable. The stucco work was outstanding. The installation of an external power port on the side of the house was expertly done and looks (and works) fantastic! Electric Medics also does something that really impressed me. Under the watchful eye of their very experience electrician, they had an apprentice do some of the work of the installation. We need young folks to engage in the trades, and the apprentice I saw (Jacob) was enthusiastic and meticulous in his work. Great idea EM! We hired Electric Medics to upgrade our panel and wire our kitchen for new electric appliances. Mike, Jake and the whole Electric Medics team did an excellent job and I can't recommend them enough. For the panel upgrade, they handled the permit process from start to finish, showed up on time, and finished early, and they did the work with limited disruptions so I was able to work from home without issue. They've also been absolute lifesavers with our kitchen wiring. We're having our kitchen remodeled and Mike was able to take advantage of our open walls to reduce the length of wiring needed for our new appliances without knocking huge holes in our drywall. The lady who answered the phone told us that if we needed a diagnostic of the problem, it would be $195. if service needed to be done. diagnostic charge will apply to it. But diagnostic charge ended up didn't apply to the service. Another issue was a third person has to be called in as the first 2 person couldn't solve the problem, we were charged for 2 additional hours for diagnostic. our problem was fixed . I do not give out my address unless I get communication from a vendor. You never asked for my address when replying to my inquiry. My experience with tradesmen is that the very knowledgeable guys TEND not to have a very award winning personality, if you know what I mean.
