Very straightforward and easy to deal with, my wife and I walked in on a Friday night and said "we are here to buy a car." With a general idea of what we wanted, we proceeded to quickly compare a few models and learned the associated trims. We decided on a 2023 Ascent Onyx Limited that had low miles as it was a demo/corporate car. As a brief aside our particular sales rep, David, really didn't know what he was selling. I was putting $25k cash down and wanted to apply for financing for the remaining $20k. I asked what the average interest rates were and if I should include a co - signer. After a few rounds of them dodging the question they muttered that the rates were 5 - 7%. We left the dealership excited with the find and then filled out the finance app online. Good news! I was approved for financing the next morning. "What's the interest rate," I asked? "Oh, Tim has that. Come down and we will get started." I go down to the dealership and after 20 minutes of papers about the price etc (already telling me what I know) I ask again. "What is the interest rate?" "Oh, Tim has that." This is where the real entertainment starts, lol. Like Tim has all the big secrets... David sheepishly goes over to the BIG DESK with Tim, lol. I'm sorry... the comedy is just too much. It's fit for films a la Tin Men, Fargo, Boiler Room (wait, that last one gives them too much credit). I think they were trained at a discount mattress store. Are you ready?... 13% LOL. I told him I'm not paying 13%, and I can have my co - signer jump in the mix if need be. Practically hyperventilating David started in on everything he had: "Well, you are going to pay it off quickly." "This will build your credit." "I didn't know what your goal was?" "Maybe you wanted to build credit." My goal? My goal was to buy a car, as stated on Friday night. "I'm not trying to convince you not to get a co - signer." "We didn't even run your credit." "Maybe at best you'll gain 5 percent." Which would put one at 8% with good credit, a substantial amount of money down and a co - signer with tier 1 credit? What happened to the average of 5 - 7% I ask you? In any event, I left the dealership and woke to texts, emails, phone calls, smoke signals, messages by pigeon. They were getting real jumpy down at Haddad motor group. I said I was going to pass, knowing interest rates were high per Tim, and my co - signer was now back in Boston for the week. I was not interested in paying more than 5%. Miraculously I needed to call ASAP, they can get me 4.99%. I called David and was told they could do 4.99% over 63 months for that car. Previously bought a car from them, service is ok but the sales department is terrible. Would never recommend.

On the plus side, I got the vehicle I was looking for at a reasonable price…read more On the negative side, Haddad gave me the impression that they couldn't care less about any aspect of the car buying process. It took almost 2 hours to get the finance manager to present me with paperwork to sign. When I came to pick up the car, there was another wait - the paperwork hadn't been prepared properly and they added $125 to the fees associated with the purchase. Fine, mistakes happen. But it's clear that they did nothing to get the vehicle ready for me to pick up, despite having two days to prepare. The contract says cars are sold with a full tank of gas - it had 3/8th... which I had put in when I took the car on an extended test drive! It's a plug in hybrid... they didn't plug it in, and it had 18% electric charge. The clock wasn't set. The windshield was covered in ice, making it undriveable until it was scraped off. In other words, they don't care. They say they do: they love the phrase "We want to earn your business". But actions speak louder than words, and their actions say very clearly, "Give us your money and go away."

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with the service department at Haddad…read more On May 26, I brought in my leased vehicle (which has 26,505 miles and its lease ends this September) because it was making a strange noise whenever I pressed the accelerator. Crucially, when I dropped the car off, they did not perform any initial walkaround inspection of my vehicle. At the end of the day, they called to claim the noise was just the brakes and that they couldn't hear anything when accelerating. Since everyone who drives with me could hear it, I insisted on coming back the next morning to do a test drive with them. The next morning, I drove with the Shane Rose - Head of the Service Department. Of course, he heard the noise immediately and asked me to leave the car for another day. Later, they called again, still insisting it was a brake issue, quoting me $1,240 for OEM parts or $685 for aftermarket parts. I declined the repair, picked up my car, and drove to a nearby store. When I got out, I was shocked to discover that my bumper had been cracked and damaged while in their care. I immediately returned to the dealership. The Head of Service had already left, but his assistant promised a call the next morning after checking their security cameras. The next afternoon, the Head of Service called me while I was on my way to New York. He claimed their cameras showed I arrived with the damage--which is completely impossible. I told him I would be back in Massachusetts the following week and demanded to see the screenshots myself. He later claimed that no screenshots were saved, but still insisted I brought it in that way. The real kicker: On June 1, I took my car to the Empire dealership in New Rochelle for a second opinion. The very next day, Empire diagnosed the true problem: the transmission was failing and needed to be completely replaced. I picked up my car from Empire on June 10, and it now runs perfectly with absolutely no noise. Haddad completely misdiagnosed a major, dangerous transmission issue as a standard brake job. On June 17, I returned to Haddad to speak directly with the General Manager - Khalil Yacteen. I laid out the entire story, from the dangerous misdiagnosis to the vehicle damage. When I asked him what he would have told my family if the failing transmission had caused a catastrophic accident on the highway, his literal response was: "But no accident happened." To make matters worse, after previously being told no security footage was saved, the General Manager went back to the service department and returned with a screenshot from May 27--the second day my car was there, after it had already been in their possession overnight--claiming it proved the car arrived damaged. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Between missing a major ransmission failure, deflecting blame for vehicle damage with timeline-warped "proof," and showing a complete lack of empathy for customer safety, management and service here are entirely untrustworthy.

Bella Nissan is the most crooked operation I have encountered. I visited the dealership recently looking a new car listed on their website. When I said I was there to see the car, the salesman and his manager both burst out laughing and stated the car had been sold an hour earlier. Then they tried to steer me into a more expensive car I did not want. I told them I would only be interested in it if they made me an incredible deal. Well, the offer they made was incredible. They made an insulting offer on my trade, four thousand dollars below the cash offers I had from Carvana and a couple other dealerships. The offered price on their car included a $1,495 "dealer prep" charge and another $699 document prep charge. The price on the low miles used car was more than I could buy a 2026 new one from other dealers. This company has earned its exclusively one star ratings!

This a true but difficult rating for Bella Nissan in Pittsfield. I sensed a bad omen when Damian…read morepretended not to know about the Nissan lease sales ads plastered all over Bella's website. It was a horror story that Damian didn't honor the lease price for a 2025 Altima. The first car I was taken to, looked at, drove around the lot was very nice, not a Nissan Altima, but a dream car I was ready to sign a lease. However, bait and switch Damian kept asking for more cash. Sign this and sign that. I clearly overpaid. I don't care. I no longer have a 16 year old rusted out Rogue that my enemies would leave notes on, would loose parts underneath the body as I was driving it. I have a new 2025 Nissan Altima. My old car finally exorcised out of my possession. Yup, the 2010 Rogue stalled often as if it had a mind of it's own. It was near it's demise and I had spent enough on it for repairs and reached my limit. Ok, so the long wait time episodes was suppose to wear me down. Damian was not focused with my transaction. Foreboding doom as what will Damian lie about next? Fuzzy math on how much my trade in was worth to them. I do not care. I have a new car. I no longer have to deal with that evil money pit. I did most of the leg work , not Damian or the heavy set lady in the showroom corner office. What exactly is dealer prep and documents fees? Really disappointed on that. I did Damian's prep. I did the lady in the corner office document retrievel. The corner office lady more concerned with her lunch order. Italian Sub with Mayo! (yuk). I did the work, I got the car inspected, I returned the old plates, I obtained the DMV excise tax information. Damian lied about "waiting for my insurance company to send him blah,blah,blah..." After 4 days and seems like 666 minutes I verified that Damian did NOT contact my insurance company. It took me all of 45 MINUTES to get the forms and have them sent to Damian's manager. If I did not do Damian's job, I would still be waiting for my new car. The heavy set lady in the corner office said she has now to work with "stupid" title. Really? How rude. It's a horror story that stays with you. It's a showroom that doubles as some kid's nursery and playpen. There was zero prep. work done by Bella. Heck, even the clock wasn't adjusted and the windshield wash reservoir was bone dry. Good Riddance to the 2010 Rogue. I have a new car.
