And I had found that it once again expanded even more within the giant warehouse it occupies. It is quite easy to get lost in the maze of booths, but you're guaranteed a lot to look at along the way. Fleur de Flea is as much of an experience as it is a shopping spot. There are several midcentury modern furniture booths, as well as others selling all manner of art, jewelry, books, clothes, records, plants and more. On my most recent visit, I came away with a book of the script of a show I really love and a fun T-shirt. Fleur de Flea also sells cocktails and other drinks if you'd like to sip while you shop, and it's very pet friendly. You're likely to see a pup shopping alongside its owner, and Fleur de Flea's resident doggo can be found sitting on the counter by the cash registers. We decided painting pottery at Louisville Stoneware sounded fun. You get to pick a pottery piece off the rack, there was limited pottery availability due to the holiday holidays, but that didn't stop us! I chose a 9 inch plate and my friend picked a door hanger. The plate was $30 and door hanger $35. We were impressed by the selection of stamps and stencils. Everything we needed was avaliable to us. They had plenty of colors and paintbrushes. I can't wait to pick up our finished pieces. Tip, decide on a plan before arriving so you don't spend 45 mins like I did on Pinterest searching for ideas.
