First and last time I will buy from their Black Friday sale. Ordered 11/28. Was told it would be ready before Christmas. A week before Christmas, no email. I went in-store 12/19, qas reassured it'd be ready by Monday 12/22. I called again and was told to wait for the email. Christmas came and went... no email. I tried to email and call them. NO RESPONSE. I went back to their Sand Island location... closed for a week and re-open 1/6. Tried email for a refund... they don't do refunds. A little communication would have went a long way. This will be the last time I shop here for Black Friday. If you know you oversold and it wouldn't be ready by Christmas, be honest. People will understand. I placed an online order on Black Friday with the intention of sending those items to my family on the mainland as Christmas gifts. Their online shipping policy says, "Standard shipping can take anywhere from 7-10 business days. Due to the high volume of orders received for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, please expect a delay. If you do not receive your package after 12 days, please contact us at kanaka@haehawaii.com." I needed to send gifts out by 12/18/2025, in order for the gifts to arrive on time, so I was hopeful because I even spent $10 in shipping fees. I sent an email on day 12 because I hadn't received my order or any shipping notification. I got one response (image attached) apologizing for the delay and the representative even said there would be a small makana (gift) in my package. I sent numerous responses after that email and it has been silent ever since... I ended buying Christmas gifts from other stores to send out to my family members on the mainland because I never received the package. I finally received it on Christmas Eve. I was expecting 3 items, but only received 2, and was refunded for the missing one. I wasn't refunded the shipping cost I paid, and haven't gotten any response from the company regarding a full refund for all of my items as they are no longer desired due to it arriving extremely late. There was also no small gift in my package when I opened it. For a local company representing kanaka, I would've hoped they would do what is Pono. I'm highly disappointed and will not be supporting this company any longer unless they live up to what it means be Pono. I feel like I've been swindled and lied to. read more

I was excited for black Friday sale. Purchased online few shirts, waited few days since i did not receive any email from Hae Hawaii about wether my order was shipped or not so i decided to email them and i received this email saying " It is taking a bit to get over 3,000+ orders packed from Black Friday alone. We're not hanging around. We're a team of 3 who is working from 8a till our bodies break and need to go home and shower and rest. We called in some reinforcements from our parents so we're hoping it moves along a bit faster." very unprofessional email then few days later i received an email saying my order is canceled and we will refund you. We are not going to make those shirts prints anymore. these people at Hae Hawaii should be ashamed of themselves, what happen to the aloha spirit. They are so rude, unprofessional and extreme lack of customer service. I will never buy from them again horrible experience !!! read more

Really disappointed in how Hae Hawaii Movement handled my son's concerns week after week. He has social anxiety and is not a confrontational type. I've been trying to let him handle this on his own but they have yet to keep any promises made to him. He ordered some things on Black Friday for a secret Santa party happening TOMORROW(and for himself) He called them a week later to check on the order and was told they did not anticipate a large amount of orders and are behind. Understandable. I told him have patience. He called them last week and was told they were sending out orders all week. He called them Monday because his aunty was going to Honolulu and said she'll pick it up for him and was told it was packed and being shipped that day. He did not receive the email with the tracking so he called them yesterday and they told him they realized they forgot one of the shirts he ordered so they were not able to send it. They realized was their mistake so they were going to pay to express ship it so he'll get it by the time he gets to the Christmas party. He just not got the email with the tracking number and they lied!!!! Expected delivery isn't until Dec 26. At this point I'm stepping in. He won't need it now. Trying to support local and gift something from home to someone who's moved to the states years ago and this is the drama he has to deal with? His first online purchase and it being a local company discouraged him from supporting local. He asked for a refund and they told him they can only give store credit What good does that do if he for ONE doesn't live there to receive store credit and TWO no longer wants to support the business because of the lack of communication and lack of accountability!! Shopping at Windward Mall in Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii... Walking towards the Regal Theater on the upper level of the Mall, I noticed this new store: Hae Hawaii It opened on November 1, 2023. The item in the window that caught my eye was the pink floral Hawaiian print umbrella. It was unusual and useful... This shop also had lanyards, caps, reusable tote bags, stickers, pareos (shawls/wraps), dry-fit shirts, sweatshirts, t-shirts, towels, baby onesies, and children's t-shirts, Service by two young gals was friendly and helpful! Update: order place 11/29--- shipped 12/20---- delivery date 1/12/26 I was so excited to support this local company this holiday and ordered hoodies for all the keiki in my family for Christmas on Black Friday. 3 weeks later, nothing has shipped and no update as to when and if the order will. I received a text from the company 2 weeks after the order was placed saying they made a mistake and were sold out of one of the hoodies, no big deal, they are (as they keep reminding me) a small local owned company. I chose whatever was available and waited for the shipping update. A week later, an email came saying they made another mistake and were in the process of making shirts to order for over 3000 customers. Again, no big deal, I was still hopeful for my order to ship as promised (social media post for holiday shipping). When I replied asking if it was still going to arrive in time for Christmas no response. I tried contacting them by email, calls, texts and social media to inquire about my order with no luck. ln a final email, I let them know if my order was not going to make it in time for Christmas (less than a week away) I'd like to cancel and get a refund. They were quick to reply! They can cancel my order, HOWEVER only a partial refund will be given as STORE CREDIT! In my opinion, completely unacceptable. Save your time and money supporting other locally owned brands who create similar products with better customer service and planning. read more

Clothes is nice but sizing looks like it runs big and there is no where to try on your clothes. You are forced to buy it and then go home and get only a store credit if doesn't fit. I tried asking if I could leave all my things and run across to try on the clothes and come back they wouldn't allow it. Lost a $300 dollar sale. read more

Actually this is for the Pearlridge Location. I was suuuper excited to see this open up after seeing the IG all the time. Unfortunately my pet peeve is when you don't get greeted at all. And that's what happened. Even as I walked to the back of the store where both associates just sat behind the counter on phone or other electronic devices. No hello or offering assistance at all. I guess it's come down to leaving a yelp review. I attempted to order a pull over from Hae's website over a month ago as a gift for a friend. I was informed their website glitched and I needed to choose a different pullover as they were out of them. I did. I did three times. Three emails I sent to this company over the course of a month and I have heard absolutely nothing. Radio silence. I just sent my fourth email today trying to get someone to respond to me to refund my money. FOUR email requests. They took my money and refuse to communicate with me. Next step is reporting them for theft with the Better Business Bureau and Hawaii Department of Commerce. read more

I recently got great deals from their 4th of July sale. I bought at least a dozen shirts and loved every single one. The shirts are incredibly comfortable, soft and true to fit.
