Shopping in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. Lexbreezy had a super long line of customers at the Made In Hawaii Festival a few months ago. I've seen the Instagram posts of their clothing, but never had a chance to look upclose at the styles and fabrics. We were going to lunch in Kailua - next door at the new Oh My Grill - and noticed that Lexbreezy is right here! Wow! With free parking, it's so easy to stop by after a meal. Unfortunately, we took too long to eat and Lexbreezy was closed. I drove back to Kailua and got a chance to look around the cute shop! I liked the prints, but didn't care for the styles. For example, rompers are too inconvenient for me to wear. I'll stop by in a few months and check the merchandise. Maybe new items will come out for the holidays... I noticed a dressing room - it will come in handy since there might not be any returns/exchanges accepted.

The dress is a size SMALL and looks like I was wearing an XXLG. It looked ridiculous. I called to ask if I could exchange for an XS and was told NO. Please note that this dress will be sitting in my DO NOT WEAR pile and I am sad to state that I will not ever purchase anything from your store. Yes I understand ALL SALES FINAL, I want the dress but just a smaller size. How difficult can this request be?

When I go to the movies at Windward Mall on Tuesdays (when it's $6 per ticket at Regal Theater), I pass by this store and notice that it has NFL (National Football League) items. Island Sportswear is located on the upper level of Windward Mall, between Regal Theater and Glow Putt. The name of the shop is misleading. It doesn't have Aloha shirts nor muumuus. Instead, it provides customers with quality NFL Team gear. Are you a Cowboys or Rams fan? How about them 49ers and the Steelers? What about the Patriots and the Vikings? Some of my coworkers are loyal to the Seahawks. They wear their jerseys on game day to work and are very proud. I wonder if they got their attire from Island Sportswear? The location is so convenient and accessible! Besides t-shirts, sweatshirts, and collared shirts, Island Sportswear has koozies, flags, lanyards, key rings, blankets, caps, pop sockets, and even earrings! Wow! I'm ready to gift a lot of this merchandise to my family and friends! This store makes shopping so easy! Everything is organized well and displayed neatly!

As Philadelphia native, this store has brought back some nostalgia of my days in PA with the pieces they carry. I'm also big on supporting local businesses so I love coming here to support our local economy. I will come back time and time again because it's such a good positive atmosphere. Adrienne had just opened the shop for about 30 minutes and we happened to walk in and were the only customers at that time. Adrienne was very happy to help us as she offered her assistance before we even asked for help. We looked around at all their clothing, jewelry, magnets, coasters, puzzles, hair clips, games, and so much more. We already shop at the Kahala, Pearlridge & Ala Moana stores so we're well aware of their merch. Daughter & I grabbed a bunch of clothes to try on as they have these little private makeshift dressing rooms available. The store is so inviting as they have so many cute and colorful merch to select from. Even if you're not there for the clothes, they have a bunch of trinkets and cards that you'll find something to your liking to purchase. The prices are fairly reasonable for what they have. There were these cute hair clips with floral designs on a wood base attached to the plastic hair clips that was really cute. It sold for $22. It'll make a nice gift for almost any gal with long hair. There's street parking in front but I'm sure you can park in the big parking structure or huge lot across the street. We did and we didn't have any problems on our return. Adrienne was so upbeat, friendly and nice that she makes you want to be her friend for life. We'll be back to support local and dive into their new merch that they pretty much bring out often.

I guess it's been awhile since I've visited this strip in Kailua as the farmers market has relocated and work has me exhausted to a point of staying close to home. This is the second location for Sugar Sugar Hawaii and it's just as cute and cozy shop filled with all things girl power would love. There was a lot to love that I made a couple of purchase I can't say as they're gifts but know that it will go to great homes. Every item here screams with personalities that I love from beautiful jewelry, fun shirts and clothing to accessories and decor that has me falling in love. Shopping in Chinatown, Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. My mom was on the hunt for Year of the Dragon shirts for my sister in Colorado, my nephew, and my nieces. We went to Walmart, Don Quijote, Dillingham Shirt Outlet, and Maunakea Street in Chinatown. She found shirts at Jessica's Jewelryand Gifts, but she didn't get a shirt for my nephew's girlfriend. In a panic, mom called me to go back to Jessica's. They were sold out. Only XL gray shirts were left. I entered Maunakea Marketplace, where I had dropped her off the other day, but she didn't walk far enough in... to get to YaFangShi Fashion. On the day before Lunar New Year, I saw many shirts of various colors and different designs hanging outside a shop! Inside, the clothes were neatly folded, and the dresses were hanging for better viewing. OMG... It was like t-shirt heaven! The shop was called YaFangShi Fashion. The friendly owner introduced herself and said that her name was Lian and that she's been here for 24 years! I had passed by often... and even bought a lavender-colored Cony umbrella, but didn't know the name of the shop. Looking around, Lian even had dresses, tops, jackets, footwear, accessories, and pants! I got a navy blue, medium-sized Year of the Dragon shirt for my nephew's girlfriend and gave it to mom to give to her on Lunar New Year. Everyone was happy! Yay! Happy Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon!

My second dream home would be another 3-story non-haunted Victorian Mansion with an airy porch with flowers all over the place, and the interior would be decorated with stuff from this store: Muse Kailua. I know non-haunted Victorian Mansions do not appear very oceany but who cares! I love the stuff in here and you could probably incorporate a lot of their stuff with your current decor. My current decor is shabby messiness with a hodge-podge of clutter, mess, papers strewn about, Halloween decorations out all-year-long, paper receipts piling up in boxes, dried hibiscus seed pods cluttering up the counter and a pile of (fake) skeletons on the living room floor. No, again I am not kidding. Aside from this foolish decor in my house, the stuff in here is the stuff I dream about: a clean, uncluttered home, airy windows with white billowy curtains, home smelling like fresh lemons and decor from Muse Kaiula: seashells, floral plates, tropical oceany goodness, whimsical lovely items and dream-like girlyness. When I brought this up, the representative called a manager over the phone and told me I had to go back to the Waikiki location to resolve the issue. I asked if Tricked Out Accessories was a franchise or a corporate chain, hoping I could return the product at any location, but instead of an answer, I was just told to go back to Waikiki and speak to a manager. Now, I have to drive all the way to Waikiki, pay for parking, and try to find a manager--without any guarantee of when one will be there. This lack of clear policies and poor customer service made the whole experience incredibly frustrating.

I ended up buying a burgundy colored shirt that says Local Motion on it in small letters. I remember my husband used to buy me stickers from the store. I love this brand. They sell a lot of cute clothing especially some Hello kitty stuff like the skateboard I posted. So cool. So worth the splurge and definitely check out their sale items. Customer service here was nice. The lady behind the counter explained that there are no returns on sales items because it's final clearance. Store was clean inside and everything was organized. Located on the upper level, next to T&C Surf Designs, Local Motion has the nicest employees and a great selection of name brands like: Hurley Billabong O'Neil Quiksilver There are a lot of t-shirts, shorts, flip flops, tote bags, towels, surf accessories, etc. to choose from! I had purchased some shirts last year and the size wasn't right. The normal exchange policy is within 90 days. However, they let me get a different size and I gladly paid the difference! Thanks for being so understanding and pleasant! That's why I enjoy the environment here! The helpful staff and quality products are spot on!
