My new favorite Korean spot! After all these years I finally tried them & absolutely love this hidden gem! If you want some authentic Korean soup, stew, or k bbq...then look no further. This restaurant has been here for over 20 years so that should tell you something right there. The inside is outdated, but do not let that deter you from the awesome service and food they provide.

Overall ok place that's open late. If it's 11:30pm, I'd honestly would go to thrill kbbq in Sandy springs instead next time and wait until their midnight special if it's a Friday/Saturday bc it's $28/AYCE per person. This place was $32 for maybe 5 oz of meat per portion of brisket or bulgogi. $42 if you want to get a portion of kalbi. I'd return if it's the only place open and get maybe their tofu soups instead for $14. Service: Greeted immediately upon entry. Our server was really friendly but clearly overworked and voiced it loudly. I do like that they cook the meats there for you. On a late Saturday around 11pm, I saw about 4 employees. Food: Good flavor and taste on the meats and banchans but I cannot justify the price. The meats are grilled on charcoal so it does have a great smoky flavor but that's it. The kimchi is really good here though. Price: $32 for bulgogi and $32 for brisket EACH PLATE. Pictures attached. Pretty good and tasty quality brisket but dang, put a lil more than just 10 thin slices! Not sure how the owner sleeps at night knowing how small their meat portions are. Bulgogi was a little more acceptable size compared to brisket but still ridiculous. Ambiance: 90s vibe for sure- hasn't been updated since 2000 probably. Old school. 2000s music videos playing (Britney spears).

The inside is pretty no frills - no gaudy decorations or loud music. It's a simple spot with good authentic Korean food. Didn't try the barbecue and prices overall weren't an amazing deal but the sides were good enough and the entrees were definitely authentic. Would highly recommend the pancakes, they were made really well and all of the soups seemed really tasty. Service was really quick and I'd definitely be back to try their take on other dishes.

Easy to find, parking is plenty, decor is older. The service was good, prompt and just enough attention. The food: Banchan was solid, side dishes were seasoned deliciously. Kimchi pancake was delicious! Crispy with the perfect amount of savory salty and sour from the kimchi. Sauce wasn't even really needed to go along with it. Galbi was solid but for the price you can get better elsewhere. Plus the portion was smaller. Bibimbap was below average, the veggies were seasoned well but barely any meat and lots of lettuce which felt like a filler. Overall I'd come for snacks but for Buford highway eats and nearby Duluth I'd go for Korean bbq elsewhere for quality of meat and price. The whole meal ended up being close to 70$?! For that price I was expecting more.

A great experience. The restaurant is very true to the owner, and speaks volumes about her dedication to cuisine. It is a true home-cooked meal that tastes great and soulful. The kimchi is hands down the best kimchi I've ever had, it is so fresh with a delicious bite and depth of flavor. I had the silken tofu stew, piping hot and a perfect portion. Really down to earth place with a very cozy aesthetic. Feels authentic, and tastes that way too!

Annoyed this place has such a mediocre Yelp rating because this place was legit. Open super late, banchan was authentic and delicious, food was solid, and the service was wonderful- even super late night! The place is charming- no frills, some might call it outdated but all I saw was a place that was established. Can't believe I was almost deterred by their current star rating ‍‍

3.5 stars is exactly right for this place - high end decent food. I'm rounding up because I was able to get a hot meal at 11:30 PM. I just asked what was good/popular, and got Yuk Gae Jong, but asked for the spice to be medium. Kind of a tofu and beef and noodle and mushroom and whatever soup. It was the right level of spice per my request - note the menu says "very spicy" so I appreciate that. It came with a nice bowl of rice and some bonchon. I would've probably preferred to do Korean barbecue but they require two people to order that, so I kind of got stuck in the kiddie pool (one of the tables without BBQ hardware). Anyways, this was fine for a time of day when I didn't have options. I'd say 3 stars during the day, 4 stars after 11 PM.

This restaurant soft-opened in March 2024 and officially opened in April 2024 in the old Breakers Korean barbecue space near the defunct Gwinnett Place Mall, and I-85 at Pleasant Hill Rd (exit 104). It's spacious, but can fill up quick. We arrived at noon on a Saturday and there were still plenty of open tables. However, by the time we left, shortly after 1pm, it was packed with people looking for tables. Someone jumped on our table as we were getting up to leave. This is not a sit-down restaurant. Instead, you order at one of two touchscreen kiosks at the entrance and then wait for your number to be called to pick up your food. Everything is self-serve, from condiments to hot broth. You also bus your own table. Here's what three of us got: B3. Heo [sic] Naengmyeon ($16.99) - spicy sweet potato starch noodles with raw fish (should be spelled "hoe") C3-B1. Naengmyeon and Yuk Jeon ($20.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and thinly sliced beef pancake C1-B1. Naengmyeon and Dwaeji Yang Nyum Gui ($18.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and grilled pork neck D4. Kimchi Son Mandu ($11.99) - handmade kimchi dumplings My wife and I love naengmyeon. We thought Naju's version was good, especially in this fast-casual format. To nitpick, the noodles stuck together and the ice melted too fast. Regardless, I found the noodles to be delicious, refreshing, and satisfying. The spicy version came with a small bowl of icy broth on the side. The raw fish, beef pancake, and grilled pork neck were all tasty and of decent quality. As for the handmade kimchi dumplings, they were legit. Big and filling. In addition to naengmyeon, Naju also offers a variety of Korean soups (e.g., seolleongtang - ox bone soup and gomtang - beef bone soup) and LA galbi (grilled short ribs). During our visit, the pickup counter was staffed by a bunch of ajummas (Korean middle-aged women), basically Korean lunch ladies. I'd come back. This place seems ideal for a quick stop for an easy and reliable Korean meal / comfort food.

Banchan is varied and has lots of options, similar to Thrill, but without the crazy Thrill prices. I like that the upgrade banchan & appetizers are ala carte instead of having it all included and upping the AYCE price. 2) Service: 4 out of 5. We befriended one server (shout out to Justin!) and he always was attentive, funny and entertaining to chat with. The other staff is hit or miss: some ignore you/are bored teens, others are good. Nothing RUDE though so no negatives. 3) Price: This gets 5 out of 5 stars. Nowadays EVERYTHING is getting so expensive, that the average person can no longer partake in treats like a nice meal. This location still has some of the cheapest prices I've seen yet, especially for a chain. I REALLY HOPE they didn't close to "take a break" (what their sign says) to reopen and try to make it more high end with higher prices. There are enough of those out there. Please keep prices reasonable if/when you reopen!

Service was amazing! At first it took a second for someone to get our order, but after that everything was smooth. Workers were very friendly, attentive, and engaging. We ordered the Yangnyeom Galbi and the Beef Brisket. Both meats were incredibly tender and cooked perfectly. Our server cooked for us the entire dinner and watched the grill the entire time - very attentive! He would also check with us if the meat was cooked to how we wanted. The sauces pair great with the meats. I'm Korean so I really like the sesame oil salt with the brisket. What surprised me was their Chimichurri sauce! Was not expecting it at all but it was incredibly flavorful and surprisingly paired well with the galbi. The chimichurri was my boyfriend's favorite sauce. I think the galbi was extremely tender, however did wish it had just a bit more of the marinade flavor. We are curious to try the LA Galbi next time. Now for the side dishes. I wish the broccoli had some more salt, but everything was fresh. I enjoyed the kimchi since it didn't have any anchovy flavor, but there are some people like the more fishy flavor. Salad was refreshing. The soybean soup had the perfect amount of spice & the vegetables inside were generous chunks which I enjoy. Rice was also fluffy - not too wet & not too dry. The corn cheese was fine and so were the bean sprouts. I will say that the egg had a fishy flavor to it, could be fish sauce ? but we weren't a fan of the egg. I love that this is an authentic Korean bbq place because they give you Sujeonggwa as a dessert after your meal! My boyfriend loved it because he's Hispanic and it reminds him of horchata since it has cinnamon. Haven't had it in so long, was a pleasant surprise Overall I think we had a great experience.
