Procedure was never fully explained to me (apparently power for one eye is for short distance, one eye for long distance) and end result was horrible. 3-week follow-up with surgeon, my complaints were pretty much dismissed and I was told to call back in 4-6 weeks. For the next 7 weeks, I had constant headaches and a profound imbalance in my vision. After researching the subject, surgeon should have first done a "test run" with contact lenses to simulate the actual eye reaction to monovision before surgery. As of today, I now have to put a contact lens in one eye to balance out my vision and end the headaches. What a waste of money.
