    I don't usually leave poor reviews. Now the less here I am…read more First off I want to say the Dr's. are amazing. Especially Dr. Haegle and Dr. Woodburn. I have been coming to this office, off and on for 30 years. Last few years, I have been back for routine eye exams and then cataract surgery. Where the main downfall of the office lies is the billing person. I have been told she is one person and is not always there. I have had to contact billing repeatedly with no return calls regarding billing issues. Billing rarely makes sense. Even when I made a full payment on remaining balance it was divided up and then left me with a balance. Main complaint is that she does not respond. And I don't understand with such a nice Professional office, that they do not have someone who is more efficient at doing their job. Or hire help in that department to support her. Makes me wonder if it is a family member who works in billing, why else would you keep a staff member who has a poor job performance. Recently billed for a visit that was the same as all my previous follow ups exams, after cataract surgery. For an amount that insurance won't cover. All the others were paid 100% on follow ups after cataract exams. Can't get it resolved because person doesn't call back. You can go in person and she is not available. You can leave an in person request for billing at front desk but with poor results. And front desk seems to be aware of it. She just keeps sending a bill, with no response and maybe she just figures you will eventually tire of it and pay. Which works. You get tired of dealing with her. I have always had great experience with the Dr's and front desk and optical. Never had to wait they are quick to get me in. But they really need to resolve the billing Dept issues. The complaints go back 5+ years. I worked in the dental field for 45 yrs. I understand how billing works. And not all offices have the same system. Problem here is lack of effort to contact the patients. Whether it be neglect or not enough people to do their job. Either way I cancelled my last follow up appointment because I don't trust that I am being billed correctly. Since I can't talk to the person in charge.

She took the time to listen, reassured me, and even rearranged the schedule so I could still be seen the same day. I have had molars removed..braces..headgear....etc when I was younger and still have regular cleaning but I don't like it! I will travel anywhere when I find a good dentist or hygienist! Doctor Mitchell Thompson is so gentle and understands my nervousness when dealing with my teeth! I like that we both have done voluntary work in Africa! I finally found a dentist that listens to their patients concerns! Of course Tammy is a Rockstar as well with my regular cleaning ! Thank you both for overcoming my anxiety when going to the dentist! Please don't leave as you both are a valuable asset to this place! Well done!
