The reception staff at Layne Christensen's office were incredibly helpful and genuinely concerned on my behalf. They arranged an appointment the next day. Dr. Christensen was thorough, a great listener and diagnosed my issue immediately. He provided exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this office for its high level of compentency and genuine concern for their patients.

I spoke with 2-3 different front desk staff at SVME, they were polite and followed through on getting me a walk-in spot. They took me back within a couple minutes of my appointment time, the young guy who did the first couple tests forgot to dialate my eyes which made me wait 15 minutes more after the Dr saw me, but was otherwise great and very friendly. Dr Zealear was super cool and though they squeezed me in the same day did not seem rushed, in fact he seemed really thorough in the examination, explanation of results, implications, and recommendations etc. Overall WAY better than the Yelp rating suggests.

After a silent delay, the receptionist asked if I "hadn't had an eye exam for a while or if I was just calling around"! I told her, "exactly what I told you at the beginning of this call. I have had molars removed..braces..headgear....etc when I was younger and still have regular cleaning but I don't like it! I will travel anywhere when I find a good dentist or hygienist! Doctor Mitchell Thompson is so gentle and understands my nervousness when dealing with my teeth! I like that we both have done voluntary work in Africa!
