Neil adviced me that it was likely the front main seal of the motor(Toyota 22RE).Neil gave me a cost breakdown of the parts/labor and a brief destription of the procedure required.His day was completley booked so I elected to change out all the parts myself on the side of a parts store parking lot. I was unable to torque the crank bolt down to the required 160 ft lbs as the vehicle is an automatic. I drove back to Palmer's Auto and asked if he could help me torque the bolt down. He paused his work and helped me out with no hint of iritation over me basically wasting his time/money. Upon leaving I asked him for a card so I could leave this review. Think about this.... traveling in an unfamiliar area, fully loaded car, bikes on the back. An odd…read morenoise comes from the rear of the car, lights flash on the dash warning of tire pressure loss. Commercial Tire was close by, they answered the phone quickly, gave helpful directions. We limped in, and the technicians took over right away. In a short amount of time, to our enormous relief, the tire was repaired, The technical staff were friendly, helpful and very competent. We could not believe our good fortune, What an amazing repair shop. A huge thank you to them all.
