First, I went to Village Ace in Glendale and luckily they were familiar with the handle. They gave me some parts, but after a couple return visits, they knew I was probably in over my head. Brandon suggested I take it all to Mike D at the Meinecke store. Thank you Brandon! Mike D is awesome! He knew the history of that particular faucet. He took it all apart, showing and naming all the pieces. He found what I missing, greased it all up, and put it all back together. He also gave me instructions for putting it back in the wall. I was frankly a little skeptical about taking my 9-10 year old Craftsman 24" snow blower (that's…read morenever been serviced) to Nelson's after reading all the negative feedback on Yelp, but it wasn't starting up and I had no clue how to fix it. The guy there was nice and helped me get it out of the back of my SUV. When I asked for quote for figuring out why it's not starting up, he said they charge $85/hour and would call me with an estimate once they take a look at it. I dropped it off on Saturday, Mar.14. They called me with a detail quote two business days later on Tuesday, Mar.17. They suggested more efficient and cost effective way of fixing it would be replacing the carb assembly. They also pointed out one of my tires was low which caused the auger scraper to wear unevenly and recommended replacing that as well. Spark plug was original and new one was pretty cheap, so I asked him to replace it, too. By Thursday, Mar.19, they fixed the engine not starting issue with the new card assembly, put in a new spark plug, tire innertube, new auger scraper, flushed the fuel system and put in some non ethanol fuel, which they told me has a 12 month shelf life, so I can keep that in the tank till next season vs regular gas only lasts about 30 - 45 days, so that should always be used up before storing it away after the winter. All that (see the last pic of the invoice for more detail) for $243.08 and some great advice along the way. Hopefully the snow blower will last many more seasons, especially now that I know how to better take care of it. I guess others who left all that negative feedback and low rating had some bad experience, but mine was great and I would certainly recommend giving Nelson Bros a shot! Don't be looking for advice on diagnosis of a problem nor advice on what is wrong with your dryer/refrigerator/washer but you can expect to get the parts you need for your repair. Parts are sold here at a fair price. (They usually have lower prices than the Internet parts depots, and you'll have your parts today.) Also - the table/chairs are so easy to clean. I thought the showroom in Vernon Hills was great - everyone was very nice and let us walk around and try out the furniture. So - the kicker and why it's 4 and not 5 stars. The delivery and assembly. We live in a high rise downtown and they will only deliver to your bottom lobby level. It will come assembled but what you don't think about immediately is that a door width is only 36". If it had come assembled, it wouldn't be able to fit inside our condo to go to the balcony. This is no issue if you're delivering to a house b/c you just go straight to the backyard. But a condo - very different. So - we had it come in boxes and we opted to assemble after the showroom told us it was very easy. First off - the furniture is extremely heavy - hence the excellent quality! And it was not easy to assemble for my husband/myself. Talking with customer service, they told us to just shove pieces together and it will work. After spending $1800 for the furniture - I wasn't willing to do that. So I called the store and they came out and put it together on our balcony. We are forever grateful for that and while it's easy for some to put together - this wasn't an easy endeavor. Just something to think about if you live in a condo. With all that being said - I would order from By the Yard again b/c I think the company/staff and furniture are of great quality.

We wanted a white medium sized gravel for our previous garden beds around the house. The summer got away from us, and we found that our options were limited. Once we gave Lurvey's a call and were invited to stop by, we were floored! Their customer service was top notch, and they even provided samples! They had exactly the type of rocks we wanted, and their prices were unbelievable. We were thrilled we could rock around the entire perimeter of our house with additional garden beds at a fraction of the cost of their competitors. Even better, their delivery service was well worth it. We were on the fence about delivery or pickup initially but then told that we could have it within a few days even despite the holiday. Much to our surprise, they were able to deliver our order the same day! Shoutout to Juan for being so helpful and making the delivery a breeze. After not hearing anything for 2 weeks I called, they could order it. Again, nothing for 2 weeks, called again spoke to Lorelli the manager, it was ordered but then canceled as they will require payment for shock prior to ordering. Fine charged my credit card 2-11-2026, NO part received by 2-27-2026. What's the hold up? Oh, it will be shipped with a bulk pallet order from the MN store to the Brookfield store not sure how long that will take. NO, you ship it to Brookfield store, I already paid for the new shock on my credit card bill. Part shipped 3-19-2026 Fed X. I called 3-27-2026 MN store spoke to Dave P and he was aware of shock order being shipped and would call Brookfield manager Lorelli. 2 hours later manager calls stating OH it just arrived 5 minutes ago. It doesn't take 10 plus days for a ground shipment from MN to WI. Between manager and I we setup to have new shock put on 4-1-2026. My husband took chair in and Lorelli couldn't guarantee it would be fixed timely as no staff to fix it, and it would take 3-4 hours to fix. Manager claimed it takes 2 people to replace a shock. Why did we make arrangement for it to be fixed 4-1-2026, when we spoke 3-27-2026. We looked it up online and only 1 person is required or replace shock. I went and picked up chair and new shock, came home and in less than 10 minutes the new shock was on the chair and working good. The manager and owner are very lax with customer service on repairs and educate. A manager in my opinion should be able to handle easy repairs like this, which is not the case. I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from this store again. The manager is full of excuses, upon excuses, owner is not customer friendly. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! RATING SHOULD BE NEGATIVE 10
