Hello. We used to really enjoy this restaurant. The sandwiches were large, packed, and worth the high prices. They reminded many of us of Haida in Tehran, and we didn't mind paying more every now and then -- for ourselves or for our guests -- because the portions were generous and satisfying. Recently, the portions have become noticeably smaller: shorter, narrower, and no longer filled the way they used to be. What used to be one sandwich for two meals is now barely enough for one, yet the prices have stayed the same or even increased. You also can't view the menu with prices on the website anymore unless you start a third-party order, which makes the experience even more frustrating. It's disappointing to see these changes, and we sincerely hope the restaurant returns to its previous portion sizes and pricing transparency. read more

They're well-known for their sandwiches, though I haven't tried them yet. I sampled three different pizzas: Persian pizza, Godzilla, and roast beef pizza. While I enjoyed them, they could use a bit more flavor. The roast beef, in particular, could benefit from a bit more salt or a sauce to enhance the taste. Overall, it was a good experience, and if I don't find a better spot, this place will still be my go-to. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the bathroom was clean. Haida is a pretty decent place. I got two sandwiches and they were both good. I got the hotdog sandwich and the tongue sandwich. They were both a good price for their size. Each one is easily two meals. Service was good and the place was clean which matters a lot to me. We had great food and service experience here. We asked if the meat was halal and was told what could be made halal so we chose the cheese burger and the roast beef sandwich. It took a little bit to come out but presentation and taste of food was excellent. My cheese burger was juicy and you could actually taste the meat. The sauces were a great compliment to the burger. The cheese was melted perfectly on top of the patty. Overall a great burger for the price. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. read more

Not only they fail to take your order correctly, ingredients that are used are cheap and stale (although they're literally located next to Mission Ranch Market), and preparation is sloppy and careless. I do like the people working here as they're all very friendly. I have even met the owner, who happens to be a very nice guy and an artist. The food is good here but a bit pricy. Don't ask for extra meat which you will be charged a lot while you don't get what you want. I'm living in Los Angeles and tried almost all the Persian delis. They usually charge 3 dollars for extra meat. Here charge me 6 dollars and believe me, a little bit extra meat was added. They need to work on their customer service. Very different and very good. You don't normally think of sandwiches when considering a Persian restaurant, but this place delivers and then some. So these aren't your run of the mill sandwiches. They have some unique twists that separate them completely from your average sub. The ingredients are fresh and crisp, the buns are pillowy soft and freshly baked, and the extras (like crispy potato sticks) really make the sandwich. The beef tongue is legendary. The Big Hot sandwich with 3 kinds of mortadella is hot and gooey and tasty. The hot dog is fabulous and different: oozing with flavor. Try the French fries (I know, weird). They come with oregano and are fried in olive oil. And doused with a ketchup sauce. They're hot and flavorful. I will try more on my next visit. But this is a great find.
