I've been on an Indian food kick lately and I'm always looking for new Indian restaurants to try. I came across Sattva on Yelp and decided to check it out based on their good reviews. Upon arrival, I was surprised to discover that they were located I. A shopping center that I drive by every week but had never noticed before. They're located on the corner of Alicia Pkwy & Via Fabricante. Poki Cat is a good landmark. Plenty of free parking is available in the shared lot. The interior is very spacious and welcoming, with a lot of tables inside. One of my favorite Indian dishes is Chicken Tandoori. The description for this dish at Sattva read: chicken legs (with bones) marinated with yogurt and Indian spices. I've had this dish before at other restaurants so I had an idea of what to expect. I ordered the Chicken Tandoori online and it was ready for pickup when I arrived. The employee behind the counter was very friendly. The one thing I don't like is that they don't offer meal combos for dinner, only for lunch, therefore you have to add rice or sides if you want something to accompany your entree. The chicken tandoori was $16.99, which I thought was a fair price for the amount of chicken that I got. I also ordered a side of plain rice for $1.99. The chicken tandoori was good, but not the best I've ever had. First of all, I had selected "mild" but it was definitely a bit too spicy. The chicken was tender enough and the flavoring was good but different from other chicken tandooris that I've had. I would consider returning to try their lunch combos, as they seem to be a good deal.

I love the food here. The taste and setup is really nice. Everything is top notch. We actually have a table here we like. The music and ambiance is perfect. Brakas has great customer service.

Great food, authentic Indian flavors, and excellent service. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

Pretty sure these 5 star reviews are fake. Only one group in the restaurant and our food took super long to make. The roti was decent, the veg Manchurian was gross and hard, the biryani tasted like the vegetables were canned. Not good

Amazing food and great service! This place was very clean and comfortable. The garlic naan, samosas, and chicken tikka masala were so good, and everything came out super fast. The mango vanilla pudding at the end was such a nice touch. Definitely recommend if you want authentic Indian food

Always a joy to come here, thanks for opening late and being reliably tasty. It makes you confident in trying new things!

This place has plenty of seating, quick seating and friendly face greeting. The service was alright given it was a busy evening with only one server. Delay on getting water, plates to eat with and silverware. The water was kind though-so we were forgiving. Garlic naan was alright . We asked to have the broccoli and pea masala made with coconut milk instead of cream. It was ok, not great. Wish they would have added some spices to it as it was pretty bland. If there was a bit more effort, I would have come back again.

This place is so good and clean. I love the team that work in the kitchen and the front of the house service is always great. Very good price and very fresh high quality ingredients. Don't skip this place if you are hungry for Indian cuisine

This restaurant had good reviews, so we decided to give it a shot since we were in the area. The staff are all so friendly, and all our food arrived pretty fast. We ordered a decent amount for two people- chicken tikka masala, lamb saag, samosa, mango lassi, garlic chilli naan, chicken 65, and a chai tea. The only thing we didn't LOVE was the chicken 65, but everything else was so delicious, I had no complaints !! 10/10 would come back again to try more menu items like the tandoori chicken or any of the lentil/chickpea curries. At first, I was skeptical of the mango lassi SOLELY because of the color, but to my surprise, it was deceivingly good !! I even took the rest of it in a togo cup because I liked it so much. Come here for yummy, quick Indian food if you are in the area!

These guys deliver a taste of Indian straight to your table. Many savory dishes to choose from that will sure make your mouth water and tingle. And boy are they generous with their servings. I got the chicken 65, which are succulent pieces of boneless chicken fried and cooked in 65 spices. This will sure make your mouth tingle, even at the mildest level! A bit salty however. I got the butter chicken, which are boneless cubes of white meat cooked and creamy sauce and butter. Very tender and fresh, comes with rice. Polish off any leftover sauce with your choice of plain, garlic, or buttery naan bread. Great service and the clean interior, with Indian music playing in the background.

And it starts at ten bucks. That's a ridiculous bargain. In a white tablecloth Italian restaurant, the same cheese wheel theater could easily run north of thirty dollars, probably delivered by someone wearing an apron cleaner than your kitchen towels. You can add chicken and other toppings, but I went with the three flavor pasta trio, served on a wooden plank. It's visually impressive, filling, and compared with most quick-service food these days, a genuinely respectable value. There is, however, one important thing to understand before walking through the door, everything begins with Alfredo. Pesto, tomato, and the other flavors are added afterward, but the creamy cheese sauce is the foundation. If Alfredo isn't your thing, this probably isn't your place. My wife is firmly in that camp, so she ordered a salad. That's where the operation started to wobble. The lettuce was wilted, and the green goddess dressing had an odd, unpleasant flavor. We also ordered pita bread, which appeared to have been removed from a plastic bag, cut into pieces, and dropped onto a plate without heat, seasoning, or much thought. It was cold, slightly stale, and depressing. The frustrating part is that both problems are easy to fix. Toast the pita. Brush it with olive oil. Add a little salt and herbs. Treat the salad like someone might actually be excited to eat it. The pasta trio, though? Solid. Rich, satisfying, and an excellent deal. Judging by the packed dining room on a Friday night, plenty of other people have reached the same conclusion. Zesty Olive has the Alfredo pasta experience down. Add one genuinely good olive oil based pasta for people who don't want the cream and cheese, and bring the salads and sides up to the same standard as the main attraction. Do that, and they may have a real winner.

However this time I thought I would try something different. So I ordered online with Mint. All the pictures and reviews were decent so why not? Well I should've stuck with my OG's because this was not it. I ordered x2 buttered chicken that was in a very small container (see photo attached) for $20 EACH! Garlic Naan that was $5, Mango Lassi also $5 and Gelato. First, if you guys are paying $20 for a small tiny container of butter chicken in LH please please do yourself a favor and go try Southern Spice. Their flavors are mouthwatering and the portion is huge. I understand inflation but this is ridiculous and the flavor is blah. It's like there is no spices in there at all just butter and tomato sauce AND the kicker...no rice! Super weird to me that they do not automatically give you rice! Like who just orders butter chicken or any Indian,Chinese, Korean dish for that matter without rice! I mean rice has to cost you guys a pretty small fraction no? Just give people 1/2c of rice! If not, at least you should make note of that on your menu so people know ahead of ordering. The garlic Naan is decent really no complaints there, the Mango Lassi they gave me was the size of a kiddy cup (see photo) Literally a child's sippy cup is bigger than what I received for $5 insane! And just to make matters worse, when I opened by bag they placed my gelato directly on top of the hot food! So when I took it out, it had completely melted. $10 for melted pistachio creamy soup, just what I wanted. You guys have to do better for your customers. I get the price increases but for what you are giving and the immense amount of lack of flavors...is wild. Save your money, drive a little bit further and eat some true Indian food in Irvine/Tustin cause this place is not it. The pictures posted are truly beautiful but pictures are not everything especially when it comes to food quality and flavor. I am only giving two stars bc the Mango Lassi and Garlic Naan were decent tasting.

I tasted the glass noodles and commented that is was too sweet at first bite. Waitress kind of annoyed assured the sauce was soy based. After eating we asked the manager about the sauce because it felt very sweet, so he went to the kitchen and asked and of course the sauce was super sweet, sugar, sugar, sugar!! Ended up with a special medication at home for a huge spike in sugar level! How incredibly dangerous this was!! Any life threatening allergy, or a DIABETIC should be confident that what we are eating is what we are told! I couldn't believe it! This never happened to me before anywhere, not to mention that my friend's meal came out wrong and when asked about what was missing, that was big part of the dish (avocado) the waitress was annoyed. Never apologized for her mistake, never approached the table or acted worried at all after we talked to the manager. I have to say the manager was very worried and apologetic and that we didn't make a scene or were aggressive or rude to anyone.
