Haidilao is massive, bustling, and somehow we got seated immediately on a weekend which tells you something about how efficiently this place is run. Once inside, the thoughtful little extras really stand out, from lens wipes to the huge sauce bar where you can create your perfect dipping concoction. The meat was fresh, the whole experience was incredibly well organized, and even the bathroom break gets an upgrade with amenities like mouthwash. It's the kind of place where you keep discovering little details that make you think, "Okay, they really thought of everything."

The service for Haidilao is its selling point- you are taken care of and the servers are efficient. They will constantly refill your water and clear your empty plates without prompting. They will even give you lots of extra napkins without prompting. I can honestly say I have never experienced that. Moreover, they offer complimentary aprons, hair ties, phone covers, and lens cleaners for all of their guests! The ambiance was very nice. It is very clean and chic. Unfortunately, the ambiance can get overstimulating. Because of the live noodle dances, the music can get loud and it is difficult to communicate with the staff. Moreover, the unlimited seasoning and snack bar is placed in a less-than convenient spot. There is very little space for people to wait for their turn, and it gets even more cramped when there are servers and the robot moving around to cater to tables. The robot also ran into me while I was standing at the snack bar (no injury but it was awkward and cramped!) Lastly, the food has its high and low points for me. To put it simply, I believe this is a restaurant that incorporates the ambiance into the pricing- it is expensive! I went with my girlfriend and spent a little under $200 for our dinner (tip included). We ordered 3 cuts of meat, a few sides, and 2 broths. The meats were of great quality. Unfortunately you're playing $20+ for a single tray of about 10 thin slices of meat so it quickly adds up! The broth was the low point in my opinion. Let's just say the unlimited sauce/seasoning bar is a MUST for you to have a satisfying flavor. Moreover, they re-fill the broth with some type of broth water that isn't seasoned like the broth they bring you at the beginning. They essentially water-down your broth when they refill. For reference, my spicy pork broth was yellow-orange yet the refill was white and cloudy. The difference in color and flavor was night and day! I have only been to one other hot pot place and it was a better overall experience for a fraction of the price! Overall 3/5. To sum it up, upper scale ambiance and meat quality, but I value all you can eat meat over higher quality meat. The broth should be the selling point but it just falls short. The setting can be loud and overstimulating. Personally I would rather spend 35 dollars a person on all you can eat hot pot than this fancier spot. The servers are the star of the restaurant without a doubt.

Haidilao Hot Pot is always a pricey bill with friends, but it's also always a fun experience. For my most recent, our party ordered various proteins and vegetables, including their Kobe beef belly, fishballs, and mixed tofu assortment. The Kobe beef belly was thinly sliced and tasted good with our own seasoning bowls. The mixed fish balls had a nice bouncy texture, and the variety of tofu in the assortment was enough to satisfy everyone at the table. While the workers are quite busy, they were still helpful with our requests and did their best to accomodate us.

It always been excellent whenever we been here, great food, great family time, friendly service

My go-to place to hang and yap with my friends! They have a student discount around 30% off after 9 PM, but definitely go here with a group because the bill can get expensive still. The service is always really kind and attentive, great food and meat quality, and ambiance is really nice! The broths are really flavorful and delicious, and in my opinion, if you choose the right one there's really no need for the sauce bar (my favorite is the tom yum personally).

Will there be further information as to what the Where Winds Meet Collab set will entail?

Are there any promos right now? Is the meat deal still active?

    Are lunch specials still available?

They will change this up every few months based on seasonality but last I checked they do!

What are the on going promotions right now?

    Just $18.99 lunch special

Is the happy hour after 9:30pm still valid?

    It never was.

Is there all you can eat at this location like Industry city?

No, unfortunately AYCE is exclusive to City of Industry location!

    Does this location have AYCE?

Nobody knows what those letters mean.

How do you get their toys? Can you ask them? (I'm just asking.)

If you ask for a kids meal for your child (which is free), they usually give it to you during your meal

    Do they have parking?

It's in the Century City Mall so there is plenty of parking. It's just not free and not cheap.

Do you still have the meat and student deals for December?

    That was never a thing.

How much do Hai di Lao charge per person(adult )? How much for kids? 2-12 yo

    $40.

Do you have table for 10 people?

    Do they have birthday event?

    No that's not an event.

Can I use 15$ for 30$ deal boucher and happy hour discount at the same time?

Maybe Yelp should flag questions that aren't helpful. In this case, nobody knows what a boucher is. So read for a change and don't let users mistakingly flag my answer as unhelpful when it's the question that's unhelpful.

When do you have Bian Lian performances?

Do you have tables available with two separate hot pots? One of our party has celiac and is gluten free so it would be nice if there is a way to keep her soup base separate so she doesn't have to fear any cross-contamination. Thank you!

Yes. They have corner booths that that seats around 8 people or more with two separate hot pot stations.…

About weekday lunch special from 11:30-4pm, do I need to finish by 4pm or arrive before 4pm?

We offer lunch combo menu for guests arriving before 4pm :)

What are some secret codes to tell waiters to get free gifts?

Last time I went, the waiters said they don't do secret codes at this location :( but here is a general list! https://blog.seedly.sg/hai-di-lao-secret-cheat-codes-phrases-freebies/…

Can the "Spicy Soup" be made vegetarian (without Beef Tallow, etc.)? Thank you!

We have a spicy vegetable oil option available!

One of the biggest reasons we come here is that kids 10 and under are half price, and everyone can make their own bowl just the way they like it. It's perfect since we all have different tastes. We've been to other shabu-shabu restaurants with bigger selections, but my kids actually prefer the vegetables and side options here. Everything feels fresh, and they always find their favorites. Another thing we really appreciate is that the fried dumplings and sesame bread are made fresh to order in the kitchen, so they're always served hot and crispy. Many other restaurants leave these items sitting out on the buffet, but here they're freshly prepared, which makes a big difference. The restaurant is also spacious, making it a great place for multiple families or larger groups. We never feel cramped, even when dining with friends and kids. After a beach day or coming home from a trip, this is our go-to spot for a warm, comforting meal. There's just something about a hot pot that hits the spot, and this place never disappoints. Fresh ingredients, thoughtful details, and a family-friendly atmosphere keep us coming back every time.

We chose two broths, the Organic Beef Bone and Sukiyaki. The beef bone broth was rich and savory without overpowering the meat, while the Sukiyaki had a slightly sweeter, bolder flavor from the soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and onion. For the meats, we tried the Wagyu Brisket, Wagyu Chuck Roll, Wagyu Short Plate, and Prime Beef Belly. The Wagyu Short Plate was my favorite because of its marbling, buttery texture, and rich flavor. The Wagyu Brisket was another standout and became incredibly tender after just a few seconds in the broth.
