Not the first time but very satisfied for our most recent visit here. It's been a while since we last ate here and we had family dinner as a party of 10, so we were given a private room with 3 hot pots. We had beef, lamb, and pork slices for hotpot which we ordered 5 each per order. We had two pots original and one spicy. The meat slices were very thin so cooking time wasn't long and we paired it with various sauces, so if you make a good sauce it'll be even better. The buffet selection definitely changed, there's more hot foods and they no longer have mini sausages. I do enjoy their char siu and their varieties. Staff were pretty attentive with making sure our tables are cleared and if we need more meat. Since we were in a private room, they still came by to check on us. Overall, I did enjoy this place and would come again! I think not everyone liked how thin the meat was sliced but I'm fine with it. Ice creams costs money as well.

I use the app To Good To Go, and today I reserved a lunch at this new-to-me restaurant. I went to pick up the food, and the parking was very easy - it was lunch time and I found easy street parking right in front. I walked in and the ambiance is fun. When you get food through the app you don't choose what you order. It's always a surprise. They gave me enough food for 3 meals, all of it DELICIOUS! I got egg rolls, fried rice, the house special bbq pork, & Sichuan eggplant. The food is DELICIOUS. I am definitely going back for hot pot.

Pretty good experience, They offer private rooms for large parties ( we had 10 on our group) Although we were in a private room, we had what seemed like a dedicated server checking on us every 20 mins or so. The buffet has a little small but pretty decent hot and ready section. Fountain drinks are included, the veggie and seafood section is nice too. There's also dessert offered, ice cream, jelly and marshmallow with chocolate fountain. (It doesn't really taste like chocolate)

Weekend Dinner priced 33.95 per person Ordered 2 rounds Pros - Free style to load up specific amounts of plates of meats from the get go. Saves the server time going back and forth while letting the patrons eat without waiting such as rules from other establishments which ask of finishing up the previous order before placing second orders. Quality of the meats are above average - Not just rolled up frozen slices. Best meats to choose - #1 Lamb , # 2 short plate # Pork belly , #5 Sauce Bar 3/5 - Doesn't carry traditional sha cha sauce. Peanut sauce was thicker in consistency. Buffet Bar 3/5 Chicken wings are cooked in peanut oil which gives cafe style vibes but just served at Luke warm temps. Shrimp skewer was cold oddly. Cucumber salad was mid. Char siu was actually good. Skipped the rest as all other items looked like it was sitting out a bit past their prime. Seafood/veggie bar - Fish are greatly sized as they didn't shrink after boiling. Shrimps looked fresh at the bar. Clams are available for shellfish. Overall a good variety of based selections. Fountain Drinks included nearby the station. Seating - 8 booths to choose from and 2 private rooms available. Overall I would come back only during lunch special pricing.

Happy Hot Pot AYCE -, quick review Clean tiered menu (as shown): Classic, Premium, and Supreme. Lunch ranges ~$22.99-$33.99, dinner ~$27.99-$39.99. Supreme tier includes wagyu, while Classic and Premium cover staples like sliced beef short plate and chicken & lamb. Food selection is solid overall seafood (shrimp, squid, clams, fish), plus vegetables like daisy crowns, cabbage, and wood ear mushrooms. The wagyu is the highlight--tender, flavorful, and worth upgrading for. Dim sum is a $5 add on but limited (only shumai and xiao long bao). Drinks are standard soda machine options. There is Pepsi diet & Pepsi zero options, unsweetened tea and lemon lime soda. Downside: plates and dishes could be cleaner, and the sauce/vegetable stations need better freshness and upkeep. It was gross to see food still stuck on every other sauce plated or dishes. Service was attentive, and it was quiet when we went (~3:30 PM). Overall: good value for AYCE decent price, I love that they had private rooms for parties and family gathering, my favorite meat was especially the supreme menu the wagyu was my favorite, but cleanliness and selection consistency need improvement.

What happened here? The food quality is way down and prices are up considerably. Happy AYCE used to be one of my go-to places for great value hot pot, but I can't recommend it anymore following my previous visit. It doesn't help that they were shut down by the health inspector due to a cockroach infestation in December. We got inside and nobody was at the front. We waited for 10 minutes and had to go inside to get someone to get us seated. At least our server was nice and understood our frustrations. She genuinely seemed like she was trying her best despite the restaurant being busy and understaffed. It was difficult to get a server to take our orders for more meat and the food came out slowly. Also, the plates were dirty we had to ask for replacements multiple times. Seems like they haven't improved on their cleanliness. The self serve bar is a shadow of what it used to be. They removed many food options and replaced them with ramen noodles. Veggie options were also replaced with cheaper alternatives like lettuce and spinach. The soda machine was out of a few sodas at one point and I'm not sure if or when it was refilled. Happy AYCE Hot Pot has become Sad AYCE Hot Pot now. Cleanliness is definitely a recurring issue and I don't trust that they've made the steps to fix it. Given the increase in pricing and a decrease in quality, look elsewhere for hot pot. $130 for a party of 3 on Sunday afternoon. Be careful if you come here :(

    Soup base

Servers brought wrong soup base, upset when we corrected the issue. Afterwards we received no help until asked. Meat is decent, rice cakes were hard/dry, soup base kinda plain and no sauces available. Restaurant itself has cool lighting. Decent buffet options.

When I came here for the first time a while back near the grand opening, everything was wonderful. This time, I had the most horrifying dining experience. The meats were so old- extremely chewy and dried down to the plate which they were served on- and the vegetables were all wilted. We just left while the health inspector was checking the food, and it was apparent that things weren't going well judging from the looks on everyone's faces. We even overheard a table (who seemed to be bosses or business friends) dining alone on the left side of the restaurant speaking to employees in cantonese, instructing them to move all the bad vegetables onto their table so that the health inspector wouldn't see it. That's CRAZY. If this place closes again soon, we know why. Aside from that, I felt so bad for the severely understaffed servers who seemed extremely overwhelmed. It took a long time to get their attention, but I don't blame them for this. If you scroll to the bottom of the yelp, you'll see that most of the 1 star reviews were filtered out somehow. I'm uploading my receipt in hopes that yelp will see that I'm a real customer and won't remove my review. I'm not sure what shady things they're doing to get the other one star reviews removed.

Went Sunday late afternoon, wanted to try their Chinese buffet and ayce dim sum. Parking is tight but there is a public library right by there where there seems to a lot of parking. The restaurant is a decent size with a small private room for private parties. The restroom was decent clean, they do have a B health rating at the moment as of 7/5/26 if that matters to you. Now the hot food buffet section was not a huge section food was a hit and miss, the bbq pork if it comes out fresh was really good, as well as the cucumber smashed salad. The did have salt and pepper shrimp on a skewer, not bad tasting but if it was double fried and bit more crispy would have been better. The pork fried dumplings were ok. The rest of the stuff was meh. The video on post will show you the buffet section. Soft drinks are included in the buffet price. The plates weren't all that clean for the buffet that was an and miss and they were still wet. I also paid $5 extra for the all you can eat dip sum which was basically the worst thing. First it takes 20 min for the order to come out and your expecting fresh made dim sum. Not the case, I feel like it takes that long so you'd fill up on the buffet before it arrives. It was the most pathetic dim sum I ever had, the other reviewer were right on when they said it was horrible. First the selection is very small. The shrimp har gow filling a shrimp paste filling. The soup dumpling was dry as it can be. The shu Mai was decent not great. All the dim sum felt like left over reheated that they didn't sell the night before, really bad worse then frozen stuff. If you plan to go avoid it like the plague. The so call black sesame custard bun, was just standard white bun with grainy cream yolk. False menu item. Overall the food was 2-3 stars, after tax and tip on a Sunday afternoon I paid about $38 per person. Totally not worth it for me. I wasn't in the mood for the hot pot and to me the selection wasn't all that from looking at the hotpot section. If you like mediocre Chinese food with the worse dim sum if you can call it that go for it. They definitely use msg in their food, I was extremely thirsty after the meal. The service was nonexistent, basically you order they come by too pick up you done plates and that's it.

We arrived at little before 11:30am to eat unlimited Dim sum. Me and my lady planned to come here for a week. Once inside no one attended us that we had to seek someone out. We placed a online reservation 3 hours before. The place opened at 11 and only a few people already seated. Place looked alright if you don't focus too hard on the off putting parts like extension cords all over and the bright lights in the ceiling. We went for the unlimited dim sum. Unfortunately, they don't do that anymore. Now they only serve three types of dim sum and each plate is 9.99. We left with broken hearts. Parking sucks by the way. Only a few next to the restaurant. The rest belong to the office building next door

If you're looking for an all-you-can-eat hotpot spot that's easy to reserve, offers dessert and fruit, and doesn't cost much more than a regular lunch set, this place checks those boxes. The service is quick and friendly, and it has that lively, bustling vibe that definitely helps build an appetite. My favorite thing here is the winter melon tea -- light, refreshing, and free-flowing. The fresh fruits are also a nice touch. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for me. I really wanted to like this place, but I struggled to find something I could enjoy enough to make the price worth it. I usually find at least one redeeming broth, meat, (even my favorite: tofu skin), but not this time. I ordered the spicy original broth and the plain original broth. The spicy one was thin and barely spicy, with a burnt oil flavor that overpowered everything. At first I thought it was just smoky, but after a few sips I realized something in the oil was scorched. The original broth didn't help much either -- it had a strong herbal aroma (probably ginseng or something similar, i took a photo) that completely dominated the flavor. I tried adjusting it with condiments, but every sauce had its own overpowering, pungent note. Even the chili oil -- usually the hero when all else fails -- couldn't save it, since the oil had the same lingering fried scent you'd find on their french fries and fritters from the buffet. The meats were another letdown -- they tasted gamey (especially on the fats), and even the lamb wasn't lean. The dim sum buffet, though only an extra $5, didn't add much value either. The tofu skin had a weird leathery, paper-like texture, the chocolate fountain was overly sweet, the soybean milk was also pungent, and even the soda station are Pepsi instead of Coke. Overall, while the price and service are good, the flavors just didn't work for me--and this is rare, since I've tried ALL hotpots around , I can always find at least one thing to enjoy even at my least favorite place. If you enjoy bold, herbal broths and fatty, gamey meats, this might hit the spot -- but for my taste, it's a skip.

I would give this place 4.2 stars. Atmosphere is ok. Nothing outstanding. Regular hot spot place that is clean, taken care of and working till Very late, which is what brought us there. Price point is average. For the amount and the quality of the food you are getting it's fairly priced. The meat they serve is extremely expensive and if you buy it at the grocery store it will cost you 15.99/lbs on average. Might as well go to the restaurant and get its money worth. Especially if you are hungry. Service was normal. They asked us if we wanted smth else I think 2 times, brought us all we needed and didn't bother with their presence too much.

Been here many times and love their selection of cooked food and hot pot selections. Service can be spotty but it depends on how busy the restaurant is. Yes, their prices have gone up since we first started going here but everywhere is the same. Their meat, seafood, noodles, and vegetable selections are good. One time we were disappointed that they ran out of fish and meatballs. Other than that, we have been satisfied with the food. Service can be a hit or miss though and that is why I can't give it 5 stars. Sometimes we would have to get our own ladles, tongs, bowls, etc. because the staff completely forgot to give them to us. Give it a try especially on cold days because their broth will warm your stomach.

It was a bit of a pleasant surprise and immediately sets a comfortable tone. The service was quite impressive... extremely attentive, friendly, and quick. 8/10 for the food. 10/10 for the price point 10/10 for the service. The food was definitely solid for the price point. There were a few misses, but the dishes that landed were executed really well. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area! Siu Mai 10/10 - Juicy, plump and perfectly executed. Definitely my favorite dish. Bean Curd Skin Roll in Abalone Sauce 9/10 - Flavorful with an excellent texture. The whole dish was well executed. Beef Chow Fun 8/10 - Solid and flavorful. The beef was tender, and the noodles had a great texture. Yangzhou Fried Rice 8/10 - The rice was moist and the seasoning was spot on. Shrimp Egg 8/10 - Soft and well seasoned. Generously portioned with very plump shrimp. Pork Chop Spicy Salt 8/10 - Crispy and slightly salted. It has a really great texture to it. Salted Fish and Chicken with Eggplant 8/10 - Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Generous portions of chicken, salty fish and eggplant. Chicken Feet 7/10 - It was solid. Not the best, but definitely not bad. House Special Crispy Shrimp Rolls 5/10 - The flavor of the shrimp was okay, but the rolls were really greasy. There were three very small rolls, definitely not my cup of tea. Chili Wonton 3/10 - By far my least favorite dish. The wonton skin tasted very flour-y, and hardly had any filling. The filling was also very bland and the chili oil was very underwhelming. By the way, the tea is free (I know, free tea at a dim sum spot).

For dishes like the beef chow fun and steamed fish for about $14.88, making it super affordable for a large group meal. The food came out fresh and hot, and the menu had a lot of variety to choose from. The restaurant gets busy, on weekends but service moved pretty efficiently overall. A perk for this place is that they do have a parking garage, which made parking way less stressful compared to other busy dim sum spots in the area.

We ended up getting a set for $168 this time, which came with 6 dishes. It's also $35 per lb for lobster, and I asked for the smallest one. Apparently, the smallest one was 4.8 lbs, which was another $168, so I'm not sure if they upsold me. Anyways, the food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. This is what I thought about the food we got. House Seafood Soup - Simple and clean soup. Good portion, and it was soothing to eat. Lots of squid. (4/5) Clams with Spicy Sauce - Large clams with tons of meat, and the sauce was fire. Always a good choice. (5/5) Crab with Salt & Pepper - Loved the seasoning, and the flavors were solid. (4.5/5) Thai Style Beef Stew - First time trying this, and it was good. A bit different, but the meat chunks were tasty and the overall flavors were good. (4/5) Sautéed Pea Sprouts - Nicely done vegetable dish. It's simple but refreshing with good flavors. (4/5) Fried Whole Fish - This dish was gone so fast because it was delicious. Nicely fried and not overly seasoned. (5/5) Signature Lobster - I feel like you have to get this here since it's their specialty. It's pricey, but in my opinion, it's the best and freshest lobster in town. Tons of green onions, seasoned well, fresh meat, and lots of lobster roe. (5/5) Service was good, and they didn't automatically add a mandatory tip for a large party. The total came out to around $364, which is pricey, but the food was phenomenal. Parking - Valet only, but they have street parking in front. I parked on the street since there were plenty of spots on a Wednesday, but I assume it gets busy on weekends.

I've been here with my coworkers so many times now that I've lost count. It's one of those…read morerestaurants where we've never had a bad experience and the food and service are consistent. It's one of the default lunch spots for us when we can't decide where else to go and everyone likes their food. The one negative I can point out is the parking situation. It does fill up and sometimes difficult to find a parking spot during busy times. We just have to plan to have our lunches a little earlier and carpool from our office. And yes, the glass the teas come in are humongous.

They opened and closed the door for us which was a nice touch because it was busy inside. We ordered the pork ramen, pork buns, and pork soup dumplings. On to the food! Pork Ramen: 3/5 They give you a hefty amount of noodles and pork. They use a thin noodle here which pairs well with the broth. I truly do believe this was around average for ramen as the flavor in the broth was not as strong or savory. The highlight of the entire entree was definitely the pork, which was tender and flavorful. I probably would not order this again. Pork bun: 5/5 The pork buns were soft and fluffy, almost too good looking to eat. There was the right amount of soup and meat inside that made for a wonderful bite full of flavor. Not dry at all. Would recommend ordering this if you visit. Pork Dumplings: 5/5 The star of the show, the dumplings. They were soft and just like the buns, they had the right amount of soup + meat which made for a delicious bite every time. My toddler even ate some and she's usually super picky about meat. Overall, I'd definitely recommend coming here for the other noodles, the dumplings, and buns. You can skip on the ramen. I would 100% come back here to dine in. Quick note that parking gets full pretty quick here.
