I hired this company to fix 2 of my vehicles. Took them almost 2 months to do the first. And I lost over 2200 in business revenue because of this. However, When I got it back I was truly amazed. The 2nd vehicle due to circumstances I picked up early because they had it a week already and I was without a vehicle. The claim was freshly approved so a few days wasnt an issue. After picking the vehicle up i noticed a lot more mud inside and dog paw prints all over my leather seats of my vehicle. I do not own a dog. I would never have a dog in my vehicle either, as I am allergic. They also do some sort of automotive diagnostic? I have a tracker in my vehicle. It was removed end of business day and replaced the following morning. There were unaccounted for miles on my vehicle at pickup. This is an autobody repair facility im not sure why my engine needed diagnosing. There is also no window recalibration needed on this vehicle and it was not damaged. Id like to know who the ASE technician is in a PDR shop... I have pics of my interior before it going to the shop. I have since cancelled the work on this claim and am actively searching for another PDR shop. I will not be reccommending them going forward. EDIT-Upon writing this review and further digging into my estimate I found out that HAIL LEDIC billed my insurance company for NEW parts but they were never installed. I have plenty of text history to confirm this and i record all calls and interactions with businesses. This is exactly why!! They also billed for parts but they were on backorder, two to three months of backorder. So we agreed to forgo them and this money was to be sent back to insurance or put towards the second vehicle I was going to let them fix. That was until I stopped payment for the 2nd car and wrote this review after I saw all the dog prints and mud on my black leather. I took videos and pictures I was quite livid. The owner contacted me via voicemail stating these parts were non returnable. (Maybe they didnt want to pay the restock fee for these super rare parts? I work in automotive so this was deflection at its best) When i picked up my vehicle it was agreed that these parts were not needed and should be cancelled. Seems they were not. I have it in writing on the paperwork when i picked up my 1st vehicle! Fast forward to yesterday when i contacted them regarding this and the owner said they could still install them in their voicemail to me yesterday? Either way ive contacted my insurance company. The amount of fraud here is horrible. The text messages alone i have will support my case. Both with these parts and the fact they allow dogs in customers vehicles. The amount of run around and unprofessionalism here is rampant. Stick with the companies in your Insurance carriers network! It prevents things like this from happening. And ALWAYS take pictures or video of your vehicle before handing it over to ANY shop! Record ALL of your calls and print out ALL text messages!! And most importantly-DONT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! read more

Mistakes mistakes mistakes. This company has done nothing but make mistakes. They left a card on my window a day after it hailed in my area. I decided to give them a call. At first things went great. They said they could get me in, handle the insurance estimate and fix all the damage. I decided to drop off my vehicle. This was Aug 4th. One week later they submit the estimate. Two weeks later it's approved. Once approved they had informed me they were short staffed and would need two weeks before starting repairs. Disappoint but I agreed. Once started they said they needed 4-5 days. It's been over a week and they told me the glass damage was denied. I then find out they didn't submit proper photos of the glass. I also saw that my insurance (State Farm) sent them an email stating they didn't see damage but somehow they failed to resubmit the damage even though the glass was shattered. Once I raised this issue they sent a supplement for the glass which not surprisingly was approved. They then tell me they would have it done by the weekend. Now here I am (Sep 29th) and they are telling me some quality control issues are present and they will need another week. That puts me at just about two months that they have had this car. Ridiculous. Unless you want to leave your car for months. Please don't come here. read more

They didn't submit multiple items to insurance because they are interested in doing repairs in the cheapest way possible for the most money. I didn't submit a review of these guys at first because I would've only given them 3 stars based on their work of the hail damage on my car. They missed several dings but fixed them when I pointed them out. They were nice guys so I didn't want to give them an average review. I am aware that I have very high expectations. The reason I'm giving a review now is because I received the most unbelievable text message this morning from their accountant, Jed. Out of the blue, months after they repaired my car, he accused me of cashing a check from my insurance company and not paying them. This text demanded payment by end of business today or else they're threatening to put a lien on my car and pursue legal action. The text was so aggressive I thought it was a spammer. I didn't receive any prior phone call or email with any details or information, just a text message with an immediate accusation and threat. To make it worse this happened at work which made my anxiety shoot through the roof because I had to wait until my lunch break to call State Farm to find out what was going on. To make a long story short, Hail Medic intercepted an additional supplement that I was supposed to receive but the shop called my insurance co and placed a stop payment on it to have the check routed to them instead. That same day I had the funds rerouted back to me and told Jeff (owner) and his employee. When I picked up my car I paid the balance on their invoice and thought everything was in order. I used to be a licensed insurance agent so I know that sometimes payment gets messed up/lost which is exactly what happened but they didn't even bother to give me the common courtesy of sending me an invoice or a call. Actually I did receive a voicemail from Jeff saying we could either do this the "easy or the hard way". They have both since apologized but it really is just appalling how they handled this situation. To immediately blame the consumer, call them liars, and threaten legal action by the end of the day before even bothering to find out what happened was unnecessarily aggressive and proved to be a very shi**y experience. Needless to say I will not be using their services again. **UPDATE** I'm adding additional information because the owner decided to harass me today, after I already paid his company yesterday. Mind you, this payment was made only about 4 hours after they demanded it and threatened to put a lien on my car as I described above so it's ridiculous that he is now accusing me of trying to rip them off. I also find this ironic as PDR companies are notorious for inflating repair costs so that they can get more money from insurance companies. They don't cover your deductible out of the goodness of their hearts. In fact, I specifically told the tech who picked up my vehicle (Chris) that I did not want them to have the windshield replaced because I always only ever use Safelite. They of course had it replaced anyway by a different glass company. PDR companies often do this because they have an agreement with the glass company and receive a kickback for the referral so he is the one who ripped me off and my insurance company. Jeff, the owner of Hail Medic, had apologized yesterday (albeit a back-handed apology) but decided today that he would call me a liar and make more false accusations against me. I am now adding screenshots of our conversation and documentation proving what I'm saying is true so consumers can see this for themselves. I strongly believe that the biggest indication of a professional, reputable company is how they respond/handle when things go wrong. Hail Medic has proven to fail miserably in this regard. Reply to Owner's (Jeff) response: Jeff's reply is reflective of the way I was treated and demonstrative of their inability to take responsibility for a sad instance of poor customer service and business ineptitude. If anyone believes the lies in his reply, please review my screenshots in my Yelp review, which are publicly available for transparency. If they did nothing wrong, they wouldn't have felt the need to apologize to me in private (completely the opposite of their public response before coming back later upset because the review did not sit well with them). They are refusing to take any responsibility for the way they handled the situation and impugning my character by painting a false motive because they cannot take responsibility for the way they treated me. My screenshots prove my story is consistent and his reply proves he is unwilling to own up to the situation. Instead of apologizing and offering to do better, he'd rather shirk responsibility. After a huge hail storm damaged my car I wasn't sure if I should go to a traditional body shop or work with someone that specializes in hail repair. I was referred to Jeff by a co-worker and from the first moment I met him I was impressed. He assessed the damage to my vehicle and assured me his team could repair it to "like new" condition. Wow- what a pleasant surprise! I really was in no rush to fix my hail damage on my car because I thought it was going to be a huge hassle. Marcus approached me when I was leaving the store. He had noticed my hail damage on my vehicle and after a brief discussion about what they do, he sent me some information. The owner Jeff followed up with me a few days later and came to my home for an assessment on my vehicle. After meeting them, I decided to move forward and they immediately set me up a free rental car. 8 days later, I picked my vehicle up from their shop and couldn't be happier with the results! When the hail storm hit in 2018, we were devastated to see that the only vehicle in our driveway the storm targeted was our 6 month old SUV. It left a few pretty good dings, but nothing we couldn't ignore until we had time to deal with it. Fast forward 7 months, there just aren't enough hours in the day to deal with an insurance claim, rental car, body shop, etc, so the hail dings were still there. Marcus from Hail Medic rang our doorbell. We're not usually one's for knock-and-talk salesman, but he was very personable, not annoying and so we listened to his pitch. He claimed that their PDR process could remove all of the dents, restore the SUV to new condition and it would be no inconvenience to our life or our CarFax and with little-to-no out of pocket costs. It sounded almost too good to be true, but figured what the heck?! Marcus came out a few hours later with Jeff to do a visual inspection of the SUV and decided that the damage was within the PDR limits of what they could fix. We agreed. We set up an appointment with them a few days later. Met them at the rental car place, where they had everything ready to go for us. Marcus filed the claim with our insurance while we were sitting right there, he drove off in our SUV and dealt with every piece of the insurance process, adjuster, etc after that. The insurance estimate was set for a Friday (an appointment Hail Medic scheduled and took care of) and Marcus communicated with us every few days on where they were in the process. Imagine our excitement when Marcus texted Tuesday morning (4 days later, including the weekend!!) that the SUV was complete! We met him back at the rental company that Tuesday with the SUV looking like it had just been driven off the lot! It was spotless, inside and out, and all of the dings were GONE!!! I can't recommend Hail Medic enough! They promised a vehicle that looked as good as new, but we never imagined that meant a complimentary cleaning on it (and with kids and dogs, that says a lot!!!!)! Each and every ding was gone and the SUV is perfect! Everything Marcus promised was followed through on. It was a hassle-free and seamless process. We had no down time and everything was scheduled at our convenience. The process took about 40 total minutes of our life, but only because of the commute time to the rental car lot. Highly, highly recommend Hail Medic. Hopefully we won't get hit with hail again, but living in Colorado, it's likely we will. They pay your insurance deductible, they pay for your car rental, they do a supreme job on quality repairs, and they return it completely detailed! They even buffed out unrelated scratches! My SUV looked brand new! And, they were so quick to get it in and returned it in less than a week, while other companies can take over a month! They even went above and beyond to drive over an hour to meet me twice and were flexible to my schedule. So, honestly why wouldn't you use this company? I first met him after our huge hail storm in McKinney, he happened to see my car and gave me a run down of his services. I liked how he was so nice and so friendly, but more importantly, NOT PUSHY! You now how some sales people are that are just way to pushy. I set an appt, and went and googled his company and looked at reviews, and everything checked out great! I had to make sure because nobody is going to just take my Jeep, thats my baby. lol When we met at the appt, He really took the time to explain everything to me and walked me through everyone of my 100 questions. I met him at the rental place to drop my car off, and he got me a rental at no cost, handled my insurance, and let me READY EVERYTHING before I sign, because yes I'm that person. I recently moved to CO and ended up with terrible hail damage from a bad storm this summer. I called Hail Medic after seeing one of their flyers. Tim explained the whole process to me and literally took care of everything without me having to worry about all the annoying details. I met him at Enterprise to pick up my rental and drop off my SUV, then met him a few weeks later and picked my SUV back up, hail damage free! My car looks great and their customer service was truly excellent. Tim stayed in touch and provided me with regular updates, without me having to check in with him first, which was great.
