Kurtis 4 Less is a family operated business located in sunnyside. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. My friend got in a little fender bender with my 2014 forester so I brought my car here to get a quote. Nick was very informative and explained everything that he will be fixing and provided a quote the same day and it was reasonably priced. I brought my car in on a Monday and got it back five days later. Nick was in full communication on whatever need to be fixed once they saw what was under the panels. I had scratches and a small dent on the hood of my Tesla Model S. I decided to take it to Nick instead of taking it to a Tesla-Certified shop because I previously had a great experience with Nick fixing up my Ford Escape, and since there were no Tesla-specific parts needed for the repair (just bump out and paint), I decided that Nick was the best person for the job. I was not disappointed with my decision. Nick did a great job restoring my (less than 1 year old) Tesla hood back to new condition, and he did it in under a week and for less than the Tesla shops were going to charge me. Our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L took a large branch to one of the panels. Big dent and paint chipped all the way down to the metal and was beginning to rust. We took it to Kurtis 4 Less and got a reasonable bid. We couldn't take the car in for some time but the staff was flexible and allowed us to drop it when convenient. They were honest, up front, and caring the entire time - it was a pleasant surprise to get our car back so quickly especially considering the supply chain issues. I certainly recommend these folks! I had my car fixed here twice within about 2 months. The first time my husband brought in my car for me, but the second time I brought it in. I was nervous to bring it in because I've had bad experiences with getting nickled and dimed when going to auto shops alone. I'm not a push over, but I'm also not terribly educated on auto repair. However - I never felt like Nicolas was trying to take advantage. He was actually quite caring and incredibly transparent. I cannot recommend this shop enough and should I ever find myself in need of auto body repair again, I will return without question. - Both times I had to bring my car in were for very stupid mistakes I made (the worst kind - you can't even blame someone else!) Both times Nicolas was up front about the cost, and shared his cell phone for communication in case we couldn't get him on the shop line. -The second time I had to bring my car in, when I picked it up I noticed some rattling. Of course, I don't drive a lot and didn't notice it until a number of days later. He had me drop off the car right away. I was worried since I didn't call right away he might try to play the blame game, but nope. No questions except for when I was hearing the sound and where - he kept my car for another day. Texted me the next morning that it was fixed, and it was. - Both times he fixed my car (front fender and then a side mirror I ripped of by hitting a pole) he went above and beyond. Great paint job, cleaned everything up, made that particular part of my car look like new. - I see a couple of bad reviews noting that their time wasn't respected and that they couldn't get date for when the car would be ready. I will say that when I asked for an expected done date, I didn't receive a straight answer - the reason being that he had to order parts (that made sense to me given I destroyed my mirror). But when I told him I don't have another car, so if I don't have my car back by (insert specific date) then I need to rent one - he offered that it would probably be another x # of days. Yes - I wish I could have been given a more straight forward answer, but I honestly believe it's because he had to wait for the part, and then wanted to get my car fixed quickly . I don't think it was out of disrespect or trying to 'play' me. The bill stayed the same, he walked me through everything they did at pick up and was always incredibly kind, compassionate and personable. read more

He advised me, but was completely open to my wishes and worked very well with the insurance company to make sure I was taken care of. I had tons of work done on my unlucky x5 (two broken doors, a fallen window, busted handle, break lights, tail light, turn signal, smashed front, oil change). The collision part, aka "smashed front", was covered by insurance, but there rest of it was done for only $540, including $130 in oil changing. I was quoted at least double that all around town, and more than 4x that amount from BMW! They did a wonderful job and were happy to answer my endless little blond questions. On the downside, it did take WAY longer than they estimated. Luckily I had a studly chauffeur for a few weeks. I'll be back, but hopefully not any time soon. read more

Professional, considerate, and thorough. These are only a few choice words, but I could go on. My sister-in-law ran her brand new (mostly plastic) Ford Escape into a light pole which require what we thought was a little body work. After shopping around a few local shops and a national chain, we found Kurtis Auto Body. My expectations were set from the get go that sure, it looks like it's a pretty simple fix--BUT--there could be underlying issues which we would want to address. There was no eyeballing it and spitting out an estimate. We took a look through the entire engine cavity and proceeded inside where we talked through all the potential issues. I say again, potential. They took everything into consideration and suggested we have the insurance inspector check the car out at the shop--something I'll ensure I do whenever an accident happens. Not only was the shop able to talk me through potential issues, but they walked the inspector through it all to make sure they got the information from the horses mouth. We ran into an issues where we had to revise the estimate to include some additional damage, and Kurtis Auto handled it gracefully and smoothly. The work was done in a timely and professional manner and the car looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I originally started the process by speaking with another autobody shop on 38th ave in the Highlands that came highly recommended. They wouldn't even give me an estimate until I made an appointment 2 weeks out.
