The vehicle had 2 broken U joints, bad tie rod, frozen wheel bearings, bad axle rod, leaking fuel tank along with multiple other repairs that needed done. They have been servicing my mothers car for years. I drove the car a few days ago and discovered…read morethe brakes were mushy along with metal on metal brake noise. Went to Mike's to see how soon the could get to her car for a brake inspection/repair. About a week was the response. I replied pencil the car in and if I find somewhere to get it done earlier, I would call and cancel. The response was "I don't do business that way" I left. I made arrangements for the following day with a national auto repair shop. After the inspected the car, they said the rear rotors and calipers were so rusted they were inoperable and the front were 90% gone. The replaced the brakes. My concern was with Mike's safety inspection and servicing procedures - it appears the brake system is not part of that process.
